I'm having an issue with getting a classification on one report suite to work on another.
They are both named "Gift Cards" off the Products variable, however if try to do two things its not working:
1) I want to create a segment to use on both suites with the classification in it
2) run a report in ad hoc, change the suite and have it run in the other. Neither are working.
Is there a trick to make Adobe know that two classifications are the same? Do they have to be created at the same time?
Screen shots of the errors I'm getting are attached.
1 & 2: Try to run the same classification report and then update the suite in ad hoc.
3: Screen shot of the segment when I try to load in on the other report suite.
4: Screen shot from Adobe Console when I select both report suites and then go to conversion classifications (Gift Cards should be at the bottom of the list)

HI Laura,
seems like a bit of a mystery. Perhaps try the following:
1. Download the current classification files for bother report suites.
Admin > Classification Importer > Browser Export
2. Compare these two reports headers (Perhaps look for an erroneous space " " - I have been caught out with the once before. Also compare Cases (Gift Cards is different to Gift cards))
3. Compare the reports classifications values (Do both files have data? IF not copy the values and reupload Admin > Classification Importer > Import File)
Let us know how you go!

HI Laura, given the error message you get for
4. Screen shot from Adobe Console when I select both report suites and then go to conversion classifications (Gift Cards should be at the bottom of the list)
It seems that the second report suite has not had the classifications set up. Classification set up and upload need to be done on an individual report suite level. Setting up one report suite does not automatically carry over to all report suites in the account.
I suggest you
1. Go to the second report suite only and confirm that "Gift Cards" is set up in the classification list, if not, add it here.
2. Once the classification is set up, you will be able to upload the SAINT classification file

Thanks KristiB. I have gone through and added the classifications to both report suites and uploaded the data. There are 24 total classifications set up in both report suites with identical names, however the last 5 for some reason do not show up when I select BOTH report suites from the list and then view Conversion Classifications. Screen shots of each report suite attached.

I've had to set up classifications on multiple suites before, and they are finicky a lot of the times. A way you can test if two report suites have the same classifications is by ctrl+clicking them and attempting to edit both classifications at the same time. If it lets you, they're the same.

Thanks for the tip. I just tried that and they are not the same. Any tips on how to make sure they are the same?
