Target Activity Impressions in Segment builder

Hi,

Currently it is not possible to create a segment to select all impressions for a certain Target Activity. Reason: The Activity Impressions metric cannot be used in the segment builder.

Consequence: you select all visits/pages of a visitor who was in a certain activity, which is not the same as selecting only the impressions of a an activity.

Use case example: on the homepage we have 2 activities, one for prospects and one for customers. When the homepage is loaded, either a visitor is recognized as prospect of customer and sees one version (=activity) of the homepage. We want to introduce a data quality check that checks whether someone is not in both activities. This means we need to be able to create a segment based on the activity impressions.

Kind regards,

Sarah

Hi,

It looks like this was set to status = acheived. Could I get some more information on how to go about setting up a segment that limits the amount of activity impressions a particular experience is delivered to the end user. Would this tie into audience frequency capping in AAM?

This idea remains on the backlog. "Activity impressions" are not a segmentable metric due to the way the Target data is integrated into the Analytics data. This is a feature request for our reporting engine team to consider, and is not currently on their roadmap.

Changed back to new per customer request. Please continue to vote this idea up if you'd like our product team to take a closer look.
