Can someone at Omniture-- or more users -- confirm this is the case? We are migrating all machines to 2010 in the coming weeks and need to know if this will be an issue. The downloads page just says 2002 "or higher"
need support in 64 bit!! I rely on excel client for automation of most of my reports, and now I am hampered due to advanced technology! Please work in this fix
ReportBuilder is currently compatible with the 32-bit version of Excel 2010 on both 32-bit Windows and 64-bit Windows. We are reviewing how to make ReportBuilder compatible with the 64-bit version of Excel (which of course will only run on the 64-bit version of Windows.)
I need 64-bit support to for Excel 2010. ExcelClient is no longer available on my new 64-bit computer. This is unacceptable for a company such as Adobe Omniture.
Excel Client does work in Excel 2010 32-bit under Windows 7 64-bit, but the "simple" interface for report publishing is broken. You get the confirmation box "Successfully scheduled report", but no report is scheduled. The workaround is to click the link to open the advanced scheduling window. Then it works, but it is necessary to log in again each time the advanced window is opened.
This could also have to do with Internet Explorer 9, though. Or possibly antivirus software (deletion of authentication cookeis), but we have used the same one for a number of years, so I doubt that.
