Rolling Daily/Monthly/Yearly Active User Metrics + User stickiness metrics (i.e. MAU/YAU)

Description - We wish to be able to create a table and line chart that contains a break-down by day which includes metrics to look back at the unique visitors for the past 30 days and 365 days, as well as including a user stickiness metric which will be defined as MAU/YAU.

For example:

Why is this feature important to you - Active users indicate that people are interacting with our app/website. Determining the number of active users over time helps us with assessing the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and the customer experience.

How would you like the feature to work - Out of the box Active User metrics (DAU, MAU [rolling 30 days], YAU [rolling 365 days]); Out of the box user stickiness metrics (DAU/MAU; DAU/WAU, WAU/MAU, MAU/YAU); Out of the box Workspace template that has the key active user and stickiness metrics trended over time; Ability to create custom active user metrics based on custom time frames - including rolling amounts and custom user stickiness metrics with the ability to trend per day based on the rolling amount.

Current Behaviour - While we can use the Unique Visitor metric broken down by one of the out of the box date date breakdowns, it seems that it isn't possible to calculate the active users for a rolling date range, for example rolling 30 days up to and including the date that the UVs is broken up by. Trying to achieve this via the Cumulative Average Function doesn't dedupe Visitors that revisit the website within the same period.

Isn't this already available in the Cohort Table panel? (Though you can't get a Daily breakdown.) And at first glance, the Cohort Table could be more actionable than your suggested table.

Cohort Table is different from the stickiness metric such as DAU/MAU or MAU/YAU. I'm quite frustrated that Adobe doesn't support such a widely used metric.

Retention as reported in the cohort table and the active user metrics are two different measures.

Further more trying to chart the included column of the cohort results in each date being charted as a separate series. Further more the cohort report doesn't include any user stickiness metrics.

Yes its shame that Adobe doesn't have these as Out of box metrics. It would be nice to report the DAU/MAU and user stickiness metrics to review the performance

@michael-au , I had same issues when i wanted to create stickiness metric. please let me know if this solves it.

I created a custom metric. Created segment on 30 full days, added people(visitor) metric, changed the people metric to grand total instead of standard.  (People is the same as visitor, just CJA name)

this is then the report:

Don't think this gives the data as needed. As you can see the first column has the same value across all dates. It is not counting the numbers in a rolling fashion. Instead it is just taking the total number of people in last 30 days from today.

Does anyone have any suggestion on how to solve this?
