We have some media sites that need to see the data in real time within SiteCatalyst. If they migrate to SC 15, they will see the data with a delay of 1-3 hours. So for these sites, it is not recommended to migrate to SC15, but a lot of new features in SC15 are interesting (segmentation on the fly, unique visitors deduplicated and so on).
So the request is "is it possible to see the data in real time also in SiteCatalyst 15 as happened in SC14" (with no delay)?
Keep your eyes peeled in the next release; overall latency will be coming down, and we'll be doing some cool realtime reporting as well.
Hey anyone know if there is an update on this an ETA e.g when is the next release coming?Have upgrade to v15 and latency in reporting is a big issue here.
I would like to be able to put real time reporting on the big flat screen in my office so our writers & community managers can see what's happening in real time-- just like Google Analtyics' real-time reporting, which is fantastic.
@katyn15 Except the GA real-time reports don't include the most important part: conversions! So Adobe, please ensure we can get conversion events on our real-time dashboards.
Yes - Latency (v15) is the BIG issue for some of our different brand teams, needs to be back to the levels of v14.to make the tool useful for all of our teams.
Definitely concur that latency is a big deal. It makes testing a real pain too.
Make sure you include conversion events in whatever real-time stuff you do. It doesn't have to be tracking back to eVars, just so long as we can put events in there.
And, of course, you need to have some way to put it on the big screen. Dashboard Player is a joke.
I would love to see real time also, or at least a new version of Dashboard player. Since moving to SC15 at the beginning of 2012, I've been limited to using SC14 legacy dashboards, and so much limitations. Love to hear if there is any work being done on creating a new dashboard player for v15?
I do believe that the real time product is to be free. We have it here at the newspaper.
