Description - Today if I trend the top 10 Page URL's by day in a Line visualization, the Legend / labels contain too much unnecessary information. I see "Visits [Page URL (no query strings) (v41): www.adobe.com]. I don't want to see the metric and eVar information in the label - its extremely wasteful to have the same text displayed 10 times. I'd love the ability to open up the visualization settings wheel, and check to box to "show simplified labels" or something like that, which would remove the dimension information and maybe the metric information as well, so I'm just left with "www.adobe.com" as the label. I can then name the graph "Visits to Top 10 URL's, by day" or something like that. I get there could be an issue with users then not properly labeling data, which is why I think the default should be to have the dimension/metric information showing (like it is today) with the optional checkbox to "show simplified labels" - that way its up to the end users to make sure they're displaying / describing the correct data. I know I can manually edit labels, but that doesn't scale if the items change frequently.
Why is this feature important to you - It would help with report clarity, readability, usability. Less manual updates from analysts, which won't scale when top items frequently change.
How would you like the feature to work - Open up settings cog, toggle the "show simplified labels" button and then all dimension information would be removed, leaving only the dimension values for the dimension that's "closest" to the value. If I have a breakdown table and I'm breaking down channel by Page URL, it should show the Page URL dim values.
Current Behaviour - labels have to be manually edited, or else the labels are visually overwhelming and wasteful.
