Make Analytics Workspace Freeform Tables More Visually Balanced!

Description

Currently, in Adobe Analytics/CJA Workspace , dimension columns are fixed to the extreme left and metric columns are fixed to the extreme right. This creates a visual imbalance, especially when working with wide tables or multiple metrics. A simple option to align all columns to the center would make reports cleaner, more professional, and easier to scan at a glance.

Why is this feature important to you

As analysts and marketers, we spend hours reviewing and presenting data. A well-aligned table isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about clarity and efficiency. Centered columns reduce eye strain and make it quicker to compare values across rows. This small change can have a big impact on how we interact with our data daily, especially when sharing insights with stakeholders.

How would you like the feature to work

I’d love to see a column alignment option in the table settings. When building or editing a freeform table, users could simply select left, center, or right alignment for each column. The default could remain as is, but having the flexibility to center-align both dimensions and metrics would be a good improvement for the report readability.

Current Behaviour

Right now, dimension columns snap to the far left and metric columns snap to the far right, no matter how wide the table or how many columns are present. There’s no native way to center-align columns, which can make tables feel cluttered and harder to read, especially with many metrics.
