Please let customers know if there is significant latency to our reporting suites. Anything over a certain threshold, 3 hours maybe?

I think an alert would be a great start, I would like to have the latency for each report suite exposed somewhere in the interface or on customers.omniture.com, no matter how latent the report suite is.

How about allowing the latency to be stored and visible over time in a graph so we can see potential problems starting before they happen.  Break the data up by report suite as well as have an overall (average) health for a company.  Let us see moving averages or set alerts against moving averages.

Response on 3/15/2013 was that this was being worked on... any progress or update?  I think it's seriously ridiculous that as a customer we have to contact Adobe support to notify them that our system is latent before it becomes a priority.  For a system/product that tracks metrics its seems ironic that there isn't any built in monitoring for latency.

Now that I look carefully at the dates on this post, it was started on 3/18/2010.  We're now approaching 4 years... let's go Adobe.

GREAT that this is in progress and let's definitely not restrict this to large time spans.  amazes me numbers would be reported on for several hours in the past... then checking x time later... finding these counts have been refreshed.  an alert for latency via email and/or hopefully right on the report would be more than useful
