@BrianWatson Attaching two screenshots one as myself, an admin and one
as the user tied to the report... both showing the edit icon disabled.
Please address based off your comment "you can simply edit the
schedule". As for the "Other components such as Data Warehouse, Ad hoc,
and Analysis Workspace have different scheduling mechanisms and
constraints." was just on the webinar Ben Gaines was presenting and made
the comment. He recommended to submit as a feature request, so please
update status fr...
Any timeline to get this addressed? Have had several business owners
complain and should really have more options than just Refresh or
Delete. There isn't even visibility as to how many reports will go out,
Unfortunately there are several reports that go out that don't show up
even "If you check the box 'Show All Scheduled Reports' " reports from
tools like Ad Hoc and Data Warehouse don't show up. This should be fixed
to show all.
Submitting on behalf on a colleague whom stated... "“Multiple Segments”
is useless to me. Now I have to go back into the report and run the
separate segments that differentiated the data from the same report."
please see attached
This option should be configurable to minimally enable/disable per
report suite. We have a global report suite where pageName applies to
multiple domains and have users thinking that the page is just for the
one domain showing, which is causing more questions than serving useful.
We want to disable this, minimally for the global report suite and have
not been told it's possible to do.
Have metrics with lengths greater than 20 characters and in using the
search feature for the Add Metrics pop-up in Reports & Analytics...
values don't return if you're searching outside the first 20 characters
of the name. Support's specific reply was..."Yes there is limitation in
the interface while adding metric, if a metric name is more then 20
character then it will append and will not show the complete name till
the time you hover the mouse icon on that , so any character which is
GREAT that this is in progress and let's definitely not restrict this to
large time spans. amazes me numbers would be reported on for several
hours in the past... then checking x time later... finding these counts
have been refreshed. an alert for latency via email and/or hopefully
right on the report would be more than useful
adding onto this... your already using a 3rd party to classify devices
and you have the screen resolution from our calls... so only makes sense
Adobe add this detail to the device. since this is in Reviewed status...
any ETA and detail for possible updates??? thanks!
Just found out that Classification Importer rules supersede
Classification Rule Builder rules. Only way I can think of to work
around not getting results back on entries currently left null in the
import file, but would match off rule builder... is to manually set
rules one to one in an import on existing key values... then for any new
key value... rule builder would pick-up. this seems ridiculous for you'd
think there could just be a clear import rule option or something to
just got confirmation from CC that "classification can only be applied
to variables... they cannot be applied to link calls" would be GREAT if
they could... especially with the new 4.x code where link calls get
prefixed with values such as AMACTION:, etc. realize we can see these
names without prefix in respective mobile reporting, but what if we want
to see them in conjunction with other link calls already an "idea"
submitted for processing rules on link calls, which too can't currently
thanks Ben! on a similar note... wording should be updated in creating a
report suite for "Estimated Page Views Per Day" to server calls since
this option is for hardware allocation as well. thanks again!
Currently the Traffic Visualization in Traffic Management Overview
displays page views, but scheduling traffic increases (whether permanent
or as a spike) is based off server calls. Having some sense of this by
showing actual server call traffic or minimally instances/occurrences...
notating counts could be greater due to vista rules, and/or whatever
other factors, would be ideal.
Adding onto this... data associated to a mobile device by your 3rd party
integration with Device Atlas should be set with associations for that
point in time and not be a classification. I've had analysts presenting
time over time reporting that keeps adding time onto reporting and are
finding counts change and being questioned by the business as to why
this is. When counts for the same criteria change with no other
conditions being applied... this just doesn't look good all round.
Just confirmed with ClientCare the only way to disable a scheduled
report is to set an "End on" date to some day in the past. Keep getting
the question on if the big red X in "Scheduled Reports Manager" is to
delete the actual report itself or the scheduling of it. If there was an
option on the page by Edit, Delete options to Disable send... or
something to that nature... would make this hopefully clearer and makes
Have capability built into processing rules, similar to regular
expressions, where we can specify a portion of a value and just update
that. For example... if a few pagenames passed in are:a:xa:ya:z If I
want to update just the 1st character or all before the colon, etc to be
a "b" and have just one rule render results:b:xb:yb:z that would be
Have a need to decode values being passed and think having the ability
to run scripts as a processing rule option would be beneficial. Today
there's the abitlity to set a Custom Value but it would need to match,
which with endless numbers of possibilities makes this it not an option.
My suggestion would make it so variable content could come in and the
script define what need be done to the value... such as decoding.
Agree that it should be something Adobe does out of the box for us since
they're getting the info... but as an FYI... there is a help article
