While iDevices (iphone, ipad, ipod) are being reporting, it would be nice to know which variations are being access, like ipad 2, 3 or air.

@vilin We would love to do this, and would certianly have done it already, but in the past this has been a limitation of the info that iPhones, iPads, and iPods pass in the user-agent string, which is the best that JavaScript can do for device identification. Safari user-agent strings do not identify the "generation" of the device; they only identify the model (iPad, iPhone, or iPod, generically). I believe this is still the case. See http://www.webapps-online.com/online-tools/user-agent-strings/dv/operatingsystem51849/ios for some examples. You can see the iOS version, but not the generation of the device. Please let me know if you believe this has changed - we'll get right on it!

I guess user-agent still isn't reliable.

It would be nice if screen resolution were also used to ID devices in the "Devices" report.

(At the very least having "3 or earlier", "4/4s" and "5+" would be helpful.)

The solution is great, but it's a bit of a waste to use a prop or evar just to ID generation.

adding onto this... your already using a 3rd party to classify devices and you have the screen resolution from our calls... so only makes sense Adobe add this detail to the device.

since this is in Reviewed status... any ETA and detail for possible updates???

thanks!
