Hello Community - I have a servlet which is registered with the path. I wanted to pass some path parameters in the servlet path like the below.www.company.com/apps/test/product/value1/value2I will invoke this servlet based on user action not based on resourceType. I am not able to retrieve the path parameters. I tried with the below. Is there any way to retrieve the values? Can someone tell me the way to retrieve the values?req.getRequestPathInfo().getSuffix();req.getResource().getPath(); 

Hi guys, I'm pretty new to AEM. I'm a .NET developer and doesn't have a significant experience in Java. Our company moved from using Sitecore to AEM and one of our requirements is to be able to download a .mov file from DAM Portal (Assetshare commons) and retain it's extension. What happens is the file gets renamed into a .qt file. How can I accomplish this in AEM?Thanks in advance.  Edit:  I saw this  https://github.com/adobe/asset-share-commons/issues/670 Is there a way we can override the default mimetypes?

Hi All, I am facing an issue with integrating AWS Sdk with AEM. After deploying code to local some of the dependencies are not getting resolved. I am using AEM CS where bnd-mvn-plugin is used. I am looking for a way where I can ignore some of the transitive dependencies to be a part of OSGI bundle.

Hi Team, We recently upgraded our AEM environments to 6.5.17 from 6.5.7 .Now when we try to bulk publish content fragments the reference.json is called and that runs for a long time bringing the instance down. Does anybody faced this issue post service pack upgrade? I see there are many UI changes with the CF publish, Save and Close options.  Thanks,Midhun 

Hi All,  My company transitioned from Google Analytics to Customer Journey Analytics in July 2023. In Google Analytics, I recorded unique page views, not total page views. How can I find unique views in CJA? Alternatively, is there a way to find unique visitors? I have seen older questions on this platform that attempt to answer my question, but the features mentioned are no longer available in CJA. 

We have external developers creating a microsite for us but for some reason the Marketo forms we've created for them are not redirecting to the ungated version of the site and instead just display a thank you message, even though the form is set to redirect. I'm guessing there's a conflict with some other code on the site they've created but is anyone able to see what it may be from this link? Thanks

Hello, good afternoon. I need help with a custom component, I have created a table type "Datatable" in which I want all the users of the system to be loaded.I have it developing and working in the local and author environments, but in the publish environment it doesn't work.I have tried to develop the servlet in 2 ways to get the data: 1.- Through JCR-SQL2, which works in author and local, but in publish it does not return anything.2.- Going through the nodes manually (/home/users) and showing the users of those nodes, but it doesn't work in the publish environment either. My question is, is there a way to get that data out? Or are they restricted? Thank you.

Hi, We have 10 different domains for our website, all the countries selection and redirection is happening fine apart from one country. that too only in Dispatcher URL. Author and Publish instances are redirecting fine. we have checked Dispatcher rules, there are lot of rules written, so couldn't understand which rule is causing this issue. Can anyone help us to understand or resolve this issue please. Thanks in advance.!  

Hi Team, I am using AEM as a cloud service and want to  migrate user permissions to higher AEM environments i.e. QA, Stage, Prod. I am aware about  ACS commons ACL packager but we will mostly likely not have permissions to deploy packages on the higher environments. Can you suggest some possible solutions? Also, can we deploy these permissions as part of code deployment? Thanks

I am working on a project and i need to automate the process to import an xml file to migrate content into a component in AEM. How can i achieve this?

Is there a way to distribute planned hours manually across the duration of a task? (from a request, not a project). At the moment when a new request is being submitted and for example if I assign 3 workers to the request its showing up in the workload balancer as 2 each's for each worker when in reality this is not the correct hours. Is there a way to do it manually / set different hours like you can do from tasks when converting a request into a project?

The Quick Search Core Component does not return text results from within the Accordion Core Component. Is this by design, a limitation of the search, or am I missing a configuration somewhere?I found a similar question from 2017.https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/search-component/m-p/260823I don't see a resolution in this previous question. Am I to assume I will most likely have to build my own component or somehow extend the Quick Search component to include this content in the search results?

I'm trying to create a simple quick calculation based on the metrics in the freeform table which works fine on a table on another workspace but not my current workspace. Steps:1. Dimension = Segment I created for Tracking Code (v1 starts with search)2. Visits as metric 13. Visits with "Last Month" time segment on top4. Click Visits then cntr+click Visit with "Last Month"5. Right click on of the highlighted metrics6. No ability to create a quick metric Go to another workspace.... do the same steps and I get the calculated popup. Instead of removing the Create a Metric from the menu, just leave it and indicate why it isn't working.Anyone have ideas? 1. Closed Adobe and reopened -- didn't work2. Logged out and logged back in -- didn't work3. Closed project and reopened -- didn't work

we use "full stack" for all our non prod pipelines.  It builds, tests and deploys our front end code (react/js/css etc) in ui.xxx dir, our backend java code in core dir, and the dispatcher configs in dispatcher dir. We have always wanted to separate our dispatcher, so we can a) make redirects and domain changes outside of our 3 week release cycle, and b) reduce the time take to build our FE and BE. However, this was never possible because adobe forced you to split the FE and BE into different pipelines, and we never make only changes to FE or BE, for every FE change there are corresponding java changes to models etc. and to release them separately will always break the site. Every now and again we check in cloud manger to see if Adobe have added anything which helps us with our unacceptably long build times, and we now see this: Adobe have disabled the full stack build for non prod, by the look of things, but they have only added dispatcher (strangely called "web ti
