I understand that as new leads come into the database, the Segmentation rules will segment them based upon how they fit into smart lists.  However, does this also apply to existing leads in the database that have values changed that affect what segment they qualify for?  ie, a leads country changes from United States to Canada, would the smart list segmentation rules auto update the segmentation of that lead?

I have a form (not  a Marketo form) that I'd like to embed on a Marketo Landing page. How do I go about it? What code do I need to ask for? Thank you!

Is it possible to include a link in an email that links to another email?

This is the first time I'm doing a continuous type of engagement program where a specific segment will be sent an email once a week until they do a certain action.  But the following month, I'll be adding a new set of emails, and a new group of people will also be added to this program.  The new group of people I don't want them to receive the very first emails which takes them to the March content on our website.  I'd want them to start receiving the April emails only.  How would I set this up or isolate the new content to be received only by the new group of people.  

Hi Marketo Community,I am tyring to figure out the best way to send our clients customer specific attachments in emails. From what i have read it seems like the only way I could do this is to create individual links in the design studio and either add the link as a custom field on the contacts that need it or create a segmentation with a snippet that provides the different link to people at differnt companies. Which would take a lot of time to keep up.. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could accomplish this easier?Thanks,-Ryan

Hi ~I was wondering, if we can change any field as "Dimension" to "Measure" to be used in reporting.I am not using standard ( Oppurtunity Amount) as default value in RCA for reporting instead we using a field which appear as Dimension, and  was thinking if it can be changed to "Measure".Any insight would be helpful and let me know if you need more information.Thank youRegardsSonia

I have a series of standard marketo programs set up such that after members complete the steps in the first campaign, they will request for the next campaign and wait for 7 days before the steps in the 2nd campaign are executed.We add people to the first campaign periodically so there will be people in different steps of the different campaigns at any one time.We forsee that we may have to pause the campaigns in order to send them some other more urgent materials and would like them to resume where they left off after the urgent material has been sent.I saw that deactivating a campaign does not stop people who're already in a wait step from completing the entire flow in the campaign; it just stops new people from entering the trigger campaign.Would changing the wait step to a specific date instead of number of days be a good solution? If not, what other options are there? The important thing is that I am seeing to pause the campaign and resume where I left off.

Anyone have any interesting plans for activities outside the heavy agenda during Summit next month? I'm hoping to spend at least a little time exploring the area beyond the hotel and convention center. I've been to San Fran many times but have seen little past meetings and conferences. any suggestions?

I'm struggling with getting the filters right to include someone who is paused from an engagement campaign, but exclude anyone who is in a current engagement campaign with normal status... This might be really simple, but anyone have any suggestions for this?Thanks!

Is there a way to redirect a person to a "Thank you for submitting your form" page if they have already filled something out? Step 1 send email with button to the landing pageStep 2 Person fills out form on landing page and hits submitif person goes back to email and clicks the button to go to the landing page.. .that there is a redirect either to another landing page ... "you have already submitted your form"' 

I want to exclude all of the non-mailable leads from all e-mailing Smart Campaigns in future, so they won't even be qualified to run through the flow and won't be visible in "Schedule" tab. Is there a safe and smart way to do this? Any best practices?Case: We have a pretty big database in Marketo, but a huge part of it is non-mailable (Unsubscribed, Email Address is empty, Email Invalid etc.) forming this annoying number that appears when i schedule a Smart Campaign: "set to affect 500K leads, 30K leads are blocked from mailing". It prevents us from seeing the actual number of leads without calculation, and also increases the campaign count time.Thanks!

I am having issues with extra spacing and line breaks when using a my.token. Because Marketo can't handle commas in number fields, I've had to create an email script to format large numbers with commas.But when I use the token in an email, Marketo decides it needs to put that number on its own line. It inserts a line break before and after the token and it doesn't show up in the html nor in the email preview but as soon as you send a test (or an actual email) it screws it up.Anyone know how to avoid this?

We would like to prevent Marketo from updating our records in Salesforce. Is there any work around for this aside from disabling the synchronization?  

I'm setting up a Happy Birthday Email and running into a problem. The field I work with for this is Date Of Birth, which of course includes the year they were born. Our systems are set up so if we know their age, but not their birthday, then the Date of Birth field is filled with 1/1/XXXX. Because of this system rule, I need to exclude everyone with a January 1st birthday from the mailing, regardless of the year they were born. Any idea how I can make this happen? Unfortunately since this email isn't super critical to the business, creating a new Sales Force field is my absolute last resort. If there were some sort of wild card I can use in place of digits in the date, that would be ideal.

I have an engagment program running that has 3 streams (early, mid, late) and leads move between streams based on lead score. I'd like to remove the mid stream so that there are only early and late streams going forward.I was thinking that I woud change the lead scoring criteria between the early and late campaigns, manually move everyone in the mid stream back into the early stream, move the mid emails into the late stream and then delete the mid stream. Once the campaign runs again I'm assuming everyone will move into their proper streams and the program will remember what emails they've already received. So my question is, if I do this, is it going to break things or cause problems?Thanks! 

Does anyone know if there is a way to rename programs and smart lists, like you can with folders you create? If you clone either to a new campaign and decide to change the name later, it doesn't look as if you can.    

Hello,I'm trying to set a stream to have an 8-day cadence between emails, as we are testing sending emails on every weekday during a 5-touch nurture.Is there an easy way to do this? I think I can build it by using program wait steps in the stream, but I doubt this is best practice. Thoughts?Thanks.

Is it possible to create overall rules for entire database that delete duplicates, make Do Not Calls inactive, and delete contacts without email addresses? If so, how would I do this?

What's the difference? If suspended, does the contact still count towards my limit?

My goal is to track user engagement with my email content that goes out.  I would do this by using a smartlist with triggers "Clicks Email" and "Opens Email", which are some best practices for old email campaigns.  In the flow step, I then use the "Change Program Status" filter to say  Email Blast > Sent or Email Blast > Clicked or openned, so that the activity for each lead will appear in their activity log.My issue is that with the new Email program, there does not seem to be a flow step as there was with in the old program.  When creating a new smartlist underneath the new email program the "Change Program Status" Filter doesn't allow me to enter the filters above.  Instead, they only offer three options for statuses: Email Send: Engaged/ member/ or not in program, and when I try and change them to the ones above, it says they are invalid for this new email program.  My questions is, what do these new statuses mean and will they affect t

Importing a list, and it shows result "Not accessible: 5 leads".  Has anyone seen this before?  Whats the issue?
