I see that someone asked this question last August, but the link to the guide provided was broken, and still is, and no one followed up with all the responses stating so. There are tiny little images used all over Marketo. Little by little we've figured them out, but should we really have to? Shouldn't there be a guide for these images/icons? I couldn't find anything in Help Articles, Discussions, or Resources. I didn't dare look in Ideas for fear of finding it there, meaning this vital guide doesn't exist yet. And this isn't limited to Marketing Activities, although the current image/icon I can't figure out is there. There's no general Category.   Thanks!

I pushed out an email yesterday morning and went into the smart campaign to check out the results. I looked at the "Email" tab, to see an overview (# sent, #delivered, % delivered, etc) and then navigated to the "results" tab to see each individual person that received the email. I noticed that when I counted up each individual with an activity type of "email delivered" the # did not match the "#delivered" in the Email tab. Can anyone help explain why?

My colleague thought of an interesting idea: Create a generic "tradeshow" landing page that asks the lead how they got to it with a drop down list of various tradeshows. Based on the tradeshow they choose, we will show them a landing page for that tradeshow after they hit "submit". So however they answer the question will determine which landing page we show them. Does anyone konw if this is possible?

Again I am behind the curve but I am wondering if anyone else got the following error. The question then is how do we give write permission to Campaign? I would assume this is an issue when Campaign writes an output to a server.

I just started using the Social Button on a landing page for webinar program. (it appears on the registration confirmaton page). I was able to identify the 3 people that are listed as Socially Acquired. However what I'd like to really know is how many people actually registered as a result of the social button share? The 3 people did not register. Some explanation would be helpful to me. Thanks!

We recently launched our first email campaign through Marketo, and I'm a little conufsed by the results report I downloaded from the program control panel. I see 2155 emails sent and delivered, with 511 soft bounces. However, in every instance of the soft bounces, that email address was previously logged as having the email delivered. So for instance, recipient xxxx@domain.com has the following activities logged: Send Email - 2014-06-06 11:00:07 Email Delivered - 2014-06-09 11:01:13 Email Bounced Soft - 2014-06-09 11:02:28 What would cause the email to first be logged as delivered and then moments later logged as soft bounced? 

Can you export a report with a Date field formatted n MM/DD/YY or a similar date formating for easy sorting in Excel?

Hi, does anybody know what time zone the marketo certification exam (online proctored) testing center uses? I am from Singapore and I want to make sure that when I choose Friday, 10:30AM is morning my time and not PDT night time. Thank you!

Trying to implement my first Forms 2.0 on a page outside of Marketo.. however when I add the form embed code to my landing page (just flat HTML right now) - I get the following error. Error loading form: Object {error: true, errorCode: 400, message: "Subscriber '751-HBN-596' is not valid"} Any clue on what going on here? My Marketo instance is certainly valid and alive!

Hello all, I’m trying to find a way for leads who are currently in an engagement program not to receive a cast if they already consumed the call to action (document). Let say  a member downloads the document featured in one of our program emails. I don't want him to receive this cast (email). I looked over the KB but couldn’t find something about that. How would I do that? 

Hey folks,do you think there is any common best practice of suppressing purchased lists from emails? We started to buy small lists and the point is in sending 1 "personal" email on behalf of sales rep to each of them. We don't want them to get batch emailings until they perform a significant activity, e.g. go to our website and download stuff.All I can think of is creating triggered campaigns that would set Marketing Suspended as "true" for new leads created by list upload, and "false" in case they show their interest. But maybe there are better ideas? 

Hey gang,I've just been notified that my company is way over its data storage limit in Salesforce. A huge amount of space is being taken by Marketo creating records. From our IT manager:The problem is the 1.7 million Task records – a vast majority of which are created by Marketo, saying “I sent prospect X mass mailing Y” Have any of you dealt with this? Do you regularly clean these tasks out? Should I be concerned about losing any sales intelligence that might help my sales team? Thanks for any information you can provide!

Hey guys,I was wondering if/how it's possible to get access to cumulative stats that arent necessarily lead-specific (or even things like programs - "give me a list of current event programs")We're building some internal dashboards, and came across Leftronic, who have some integration to use Marketo as a data source. This is good, but we're looking at other platforms besides Leftronic. These other platforms have the ability to import data via API, but I can't see any references in the API docs as to how to pull things like email stats (ie number of sent/delivered/opened/clicked)...Are these private/undocumented APIs, or am I just not looking at things the right way?Cheers,Michael

When using programs within an engagement program stream, you select a smart campaign that requires a "Member of Engagement Program" filter. My question is, is there any reason that this shouldn't always be set as "Member of Engagement Program = TRUE" and "Program IS ANY"?Even if that smart campaign states it would affect any leads in the system that are in an engagement program, only the leads running through that particular engagement program would run through the smart campaign on that cast -- right?

Hi All,I set up a batch campaign to run every night at 2 a.m. EST. It decays prospect scores by 5 points if they haven't had any activity on our site in the last 60 days.But, the issue is...We have an alert set up to email our reps for prospects who's lead score changes to at least 50. If the score decreases by 5 from inactivity, but stays over 50, the rep is getting alerted. Right now the logic is "lead score is at least 50". Should it be changed to lead score "IS" 50 to avoid this?Thank you!

Your client has asked for a list of Coldplay fans to target in an upcoming CD release promotion. How would you set up the Query? If in addition, they want to know how much each fan spent on Coldplay music, how would you include that information in the results?

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? We just recently began embedding forms on our website versus hosting them on Marketo landing pages. However, when I embed them, the labels and form fields are not spacing correctly.For example:http://www.nanolumens.com/nanolumens-aia-cesThe widths are all identical in the set up but when I embed them on our site, they are all out of sorts. AND I set up progressive profiling and that is not working either, so I made the decision to deactivate it.Help?

We have cases where contacts stop being tracked by Marketo. For example, we see when the customer has logged in and this works until some time when suddenly it stops. We have another system, where we can verify that the customer continues logging in, on a daily basis, let's say. I had a case with support and they told me that the reasons could be the customer has installed track blocking add-on / software or deleted coockies. The solution is to ask the customer to click on a link in an email sent from Marketo. This sounds quite unacceptable as we don't want say "hey, click that because we want to track you". Anyone has similar experience and can share solution? Feedback is much appreciated. Thank you. 

Hi,Was hoping someone could help with the my scenario.  I have a smart list that contains leads with birthdates. The consultant that set up our integration created a filter within it to say that all leads that have a birthdate in the past 23605 days should reside in that list.  Basically, once a lead reaches 64 and 9 months, they get removed from that list want to and integrated into Salesforce.The problem is that this logic is a bit backwards. The Salesforce sync was set up to say if leads are NOT in that list to sync with salesforce.  This worked for the initial campaign, however, as we add additional campaigns, we are finding that all of the leads from those campaigns end up syncing with Salesforce, unless we update the filters in the initial sync.  At this point, there are so many filters in the sync that the sync is no longer working.  A better approach would be to create the smart list to only pull in leads that are 64 and 9 months and then update the sync to say if the leads ARE

Maybe this is a silly question, but I'm am still learning the system as a new user. I was a Hubspot user before and it had a microsite feature. I am trying to figure out if there is a way to create microsites within Marketo.  I can't seem to find any page on it-- just a page to know how to setup multiple subdomains. Can anyone direct me to the right place?
