Recipient (self) email address override?

For the purposes of training, I had to add myself to the Recipients/Training folder, and when I did so, I provided an existing Gmail account, rather than my work email which is registered with Adobe Training.  I then selected myself as a target for proofs.  However, my proof request emails are being sent to be work email, rather than the Gmail account I provided.  Is this because of my membership in the training program?  I can't understand why my recipient email account is not the one proofs are being sent to.

The reason I opted to provide a Gmail account was to avoid any possible issues with my company's Spam filters.

Any ideas?

What you are getting in your work inbox is the validation/confirmation notice to approve content on the delivery. These are actually Operator notifications going out to your user email address, which is set to the email address we used for the pilot registration.

Hi Todd, in fact it looks like your proof is not going out at all. That is because we have a "student only" Typology rule that removes from the target any Recipient who is not in one of the student e-mail domains: adobe.com, precisiondialog.com, etc.. Can you forward me the email that you got in your work Inbox?

Linda
