Is there any advantage of having dispatcher in front of the Author if it is the only instance, so load-balancing is not required, and as per official documentation cache should be disabled there anyway? So far it only proxying requests between :80 and :4502 ports to underlying publisher and that's probably it.Any ideas?

AEM 6.2/3/4Does anyone know if it's possible to use (or uses) the Apache HttpClient OSGi bundle (org.apache.httpcomponents.httpclient) without proxy settings? In other words, if it's disabled by unchecking "Enable HTTP Proxy" and I try to use an instance of it via HttpClientBuilderFactory, will it behave as a regular Apache HTTP client?I suspect so...Regards,David(Don't say try it )

Hi all,I have a basic question regarding content starts and would be really happy if someone could help me: When I start a video and pause after a few minutes, get me a coffee and go on watching the content after a few minutes, does it count as one content start or two?By definition a content start is the “First frame of video is viewed” – which would suggest that it is one content start – because it only counts the first frame of the video. Is that true? Thanks a lot in advance

Is there a way to change just one field on a form to have the label position be above the checkboxes? For all of our fields, we don't use labels, we just use hint texts and set the field label to the left. But I have a new Checkboxes field that needs a label on the top. I've searched on the Community but haven't seen any CSS that is similar to my issue but am sure it can be done.

use case: Requirement to check for version control on RTE i.e to see the changes made to the text/content on the dialog. (Basically like a spell check or on microsoft word document we can enable the version and see the modifications made by author, what time and content )problem statement: Authors/content provider's wanted to have a solution to track the modification/edits done at dialog level. Assume they are using an RTE component to write content on body of an article page(5000 words) and trigger a work flow for review to lead content provider on review they are modifying the content. On modification they wanted a feature to see what corrections made and by whom.It would be great to know if we have any plugin's available or thoughts on this requirement to delight the authors.example: Track changes - CKEditor 5 Documentation Thank you,Sunil

We have removed publishing rights to most authors on 1 of our sites. As such, we have created a workflow (let's call it mysite-workflow) to handle request for publication. Is it possible to configure AEM so that if a workflow request was made on a page that resides inside /content/mysite, it automatically uses mysite-workflow?Thanks

Hi I know it is not the idea of Workspaces, but one of our use case. I want to share a workspace. The receiver should not be able to even see (and of course work with) the given dimensions, metrics and segments. All options i see with the permission regulation finally generates not such an outcome. ThanksBjörn

I would just like to ask a question regarding repositories and plugin repositories in AEM? I have a project that works perfectly in both AEM 6.3 and 6.4. Although I've updated the pom.xml and added the below snippet for the 6.4 instance. As I've checked, there were no differences with the functionalities, even if I've added the snippet or not. I'm still new to AEM and was a bit confused about the usage of this repository section. Is there anything particularly that I have to check to verify this? I would just like to check the impact of adding this.<repositories>        <repository>            <id>adobe-public-releases</id>            <name>Adobe Public Repository</name>            <url>https://repo.adobe.com/nexus/content/groups/public/</url>            <layout>default</layout>        </repository>        <repository>            <id>apache-intermediate-release</id>            <name>Apache Interme

Hi,Scenario:(AEM 6.3.2) I'm requesting a page with the selector "test1", like this: http://localhost:4502/content/myapp/home.test1.htmlThis page have a parsys where I have drop a component "slider", so the component's path is: "/content/myapp/home/jcr:content/parsys/slider"At the "slider" component level, how can I access to the "test1" selector?I've tried different ways (SlingModel, WCMUsePojo, the "request" HTL Global Object...), but always get the same problem: the "request" I can access is the GET request of the component (GET "/content/myapp/home/jcr:content/parsys/slider.html") where the selector is not present.I need to use that selector in a WCMUsePojo, so any HTL/Java solution will be appreciated. Thanks!

We're using AEM 6.3.3.2.  Is it possible to customize configurations in our source code for individual workflow launchers on a per environment basis, similar to OSGI configs?  The goal is that each Maven build will apply the custom settings to each workflow on a per environment basis.  We'd like to avoid manually changing settings after deployment. With OSGI configs, we have various config folders in our ui.apps project that might apply to individual servers (DEV, QA, etc.).  Each server uses custom configurations based on naming conventions used for folder names and the server's run mode(s).  It's easy and works great, but we haven't had any luck figuring out how to do something similar for workflows. We saved the configuration for a sample AEM Workflow Launcher under this folder in the ui.content project:ui.content/src/main/content/jcr_root/etc/workflow/launcher/config/my_custom_workflow/.content.xmlIt works great, but the same settings apply to all environments.  In the .content.xml f

Hi guys,I want to add in a customer number into a customer onboarding email, that is part of a synced SF field in Pardot. The number looks as following:Only the part behind the '/' should be displayed in the email. Unfortunately the length of the customer numbers differs, so there is not a fixed position in the field to extract from. I think this can done using Velocity scripting ('extract after /'), but I would not know how. Any ideas on how to do this? The token for this field is {{company.EAN/OAN}}.Thank you,Jaap

Hi All,I am facing a problem with the special chars plugin - the issue is while authoring the content if I add any special character I am not able to differentiate the symbol because of the size. So i was trying to add custom css to the special characters so that they look bigger in size and are easily visible. But the problem is I am not able to find the css class for the richtext component.i checked it here - /libs/cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog/richtext/clientlibs/rte/coralui3 and few other places as well but couldn't find it.Please can anyone provide me the css path where i can edit the classes or add custom classes.ORIs there any other way to increase the size of special chars in the RTE.

Hello,I am working for a small firm and we would like to create some simple pdf forms with a few adaptive fields (e.g for adding product numbers) , if possible.I filled this contact form: Adobe Marketing Cloud | Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Vertrieb  and I did not get an answer. I called the Sales Hotline and People are telling me that they dont know About AEM forms or that only a "Server Version" of AEM is available which has a five figure cost.I can not imagine that this is true and als on the Forum I found some indicators that other Options are available. Can you please provide some more detailed information on this and/or share the relevant contact details? I also found a Trail Version here: LiveCycle Blog: AEM Forms Designer Demoversion//AEM Forms Designer Trial Is this a legal version supported by Adobe and can I safely download it?Thank you for your helpJoshua

Hi,I would like to add a custom metadata property to my assets.I have seen the following documentation around metadata profiles:https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/6-3/assets/using/metadata-profiles.htmlThis seemed promising but doesn't seem to add the properties to UI when viewing the properties of an asset. Is there a way to add custom field to an asset so that is viewable/amendable by authors? Thanks,Jim
