Every prop and every classification of a prop has a corresponding 'exit' and 'entry' version of the prop. This leads end users to be presented with far too many options which can be very confusing. For example, the below prop has 2 classifications; as a result the end user is present with 9 different options! Please can you consider changing the interface so that the entry and exit version do not show up at the top level? A possible solution would be to make entry and exit variables available from the chevron as the first level of drill down before reaching the items for a prop.leading to....
Use Case:Ability to create various shopper segments that look back for a user-defined period of time based on the number of purchases made. For example, to have the ability to look atOne Time Shoppers (defined as users who placed 1 order in the past 12 months)Casual (defined as 2-5 orders placed in the past in 12 months)Frequent (defined as 6 - 10 orders placed in the past in 12 months)Super (defined as >10 orders placed in the past in 12 months) Feature Request:Ability to create a visitor segment that allows for creation of a container that can look back in time to a user-defined time frame. The time frame defined in the segment should be given priority over the reporting period. For example, if a report were ran for the last 2 full months (reporting period), and the One Time Shopper segment were applied, then segment should look back 12 months to determine if any of the traffic during the reporting period meets the segment criteria.
I use the debugger mostly for Analytics and it would be preferable for me if the new network requests loaded on the left (front) rather then the right (end). I am mostly looking for the latest request and it is a pain to have to go to the bottom of the window and scroll to the right to see the newest request. Maybe make the sort/load direction an option? If that is not possible, maybe the left/right scroll bar could be at the top of the window as opposed to the bottom?
We have many users who share a name and would like to be able to search and find users based on their email alias (sso Username) when tagging in an update.
Es wäre so schön wenn sich unter Catalina am Mac die Fenster auf verschiedengroßen Monitoren und iPad (Sidecar) automatisch anpassen könnten.
I find it annoying that the request automatically collapses if I leave the application for a moment. I'd like it to keep the state I've left it in, as long as the window remains open.
I find the contrast too soft, specially when reading in the light mode.
The UI for the date selector in Analysis Workspace has changed to result in more whitespace. On smaller screens, that means a lot of scrolling is needed when toggling the rolling date ranges.See this screenshot where the bottom part got cut off, requiring scrolling. Also, given the absence of a scrollbar, it's not immediately obvious that scrolling is needed.FYI my screen resolution is 1440x900.
With the new v1.8.4 there is a change which I really don't like. To understand the change, first have a look at how it looks in the old v1.8.3: As you can see there are all the default variables easy to access. I understand that in most cases all the fields remain empty and it is a lot of place ... that might be the reason why the change was made in v1.8.4, see here:All the default variables are now hidden behind a simple checkbox - check it and see the additional fields as above. What's bad? There are 2 points that I don't like about thatIf you have the settings closed, you have no indication that you maybe have filled in some of the fields - so easy to forget about a single field that has a value. just had sort of nightmare while debugging an issue...the action remembers the setting of the view in the UI - good. but this setting is written in the final launch library code! it adds an additional string to the action with a boolean value for "showAdditionalSettings".Idea
Hi Community,we are a globally operating company that is present in multiple different countries and are currently facing issues with the way how currencies are setup and used in Workfront.Next to the default currency which is EUR in our case multiple other currencies are required like GPB US Dollar and more.Working with Portfolios we are able to set a seperat currency on different levels of the portfolio like i.e. within a program. All buget or currency based information is then based in for example US dollar as we need it. Unfortunately there is one area left. The area of Portfolio Opitimization is the only area where the default currency is pulled from the system. This has negative effect on our business as usual. Therefore we would like to raise the request to be able to setup a currency on portfolio level for the whole portfolio including Programs, Projects and Tasks without using a system default. This has to affect all areas of the portfolio including reports.Kind regards,
The annotation ability within proof is great but currently limited without the ability to add text over the proof image itself. It would be amazing to be able to add text over the top of a proof image as an annotation, the same way you can add the other elements such as a box or arrow, ie effectively a style of watermark - so may even be useful to be able to adjust opacity as a bonus, but definitely colour, font and size. Even at it's most basic such as you find in Paint would be great. The use I see for these is adding an identifier to the image, in my case a product name or description over the top of the image, or set of images as a visual aid, as opposed to the note itself. This is different from the current text tool that only select text within certain file types, which is not what I need.I've tried adding an image as an example but unfortunately it keeps failing...
Our business has requested for ability to mark/post an update on project/task level as “Urgent”? As we move away from emails, we’re finding that certain messages get lost in the sea of notifications. Is there a way to mark a particular update as “Urgent” or “High Priority” ?
Currently we only have the ability to use following for searching in the Assignment object:I feel we are missing 2 other search parameters in this list:assignedToHomeTeamMMassignedToTeamsMMThis functionality would be extremely beneficial for creating reports. A use case would be:The logged in user needs to see all assignments to users who are on their home team. ORThe logged in user needs to see all assignments to users who are on any of their teams.
this may be an extension of an old idea, but with the recent release of Program Member Custom Fields, it would be nice to add these as filters on reports. Specifically Email Activity reports (if not all others). Filtering the smart list by member data returns the lead, thus invalidating the report if attempting to only filter by Member Fields. Example: I'm tagging a custom program member field "Is Customer" to see if, when the email was sent, that person was a customer or not. I'd like to pull a report of email activity where "Is Customer" is TRUE (and vice versa). However without a filter, I have to do it in the Smart List filter which pulls all emails sent to that person as long as the person was TRUE at any point, not point in time. Bonus: All Group By to read these fields as well; much like Segmentation does today.
We have multiple custom forms referencing the same field attached to the same object (Project) that require a different input based on the form the workers are completing. What we noticed while building the configuration out is that if the same field is attached to multiple forms added to a single object, the data entered in one form replicates across all forms. If we want to avoid that, Support recommended we create separate fields for each form, which is going to cause the creation of multiple duplicate fields with weird field names and have reporting downstream effects (what field do we add to the report?) I would think the field can be used across multiple forms without having the information entered in one request form being entered in ALL forms with the same fields. This is really a huge issue that Workfront will need to resolve so we don't have to create multiple fields with the same information to prevent the duplication of user-entered data across all of our collective
Everything is always slow to load. Navigating DW, updating requests, pivoting views, all seem to take 3-5 or more seconds to updateWhen changing report suites, it’s frustrating that the entire report set up gets reset and must be redoneBeing able to include custom metrics built off segments would be very helpful. This is a big oneNot being able to use more than one segment per extract creates a lot of challenges when trying to get precise extractsThe search functionality for previous reports is very clunky. It’s not easy to use and it’s very tedious to find older reports. Advanced searching functionality would make things easier
The personal Time Off calendar would benefit from built-in approvals. Marking Time Off on a user's personal calendar should send an approval notification to their manager. Requests that are pending approval could have a different icons/colors on the personal calendar for visual distinction. Ideally, pending Time Off requests would also show up in the User's Home area, similar to other pending requests.Use Case:Like any organization, we require management approval for Time Off. As such, our users have to submit Time Off requests through a request queue, which appear on calendars once approved. We also require them to document Time Off on their personal calendars as this impacts project timelines. Implementing the above suggestion would allow us to consolidate these two processes into one while retaining the necessary approvals. And, we would be able to use the new Time Off Calendar featured in the 2019.3 release (https://vimeo.com/352816307/c9988ec54c)
The ability to add your own custom color palette is a great addition to a workspace. I think it would be great to make the color palette shareable within an organization so it can be easily accessed and applied by other teammates.
Make Search Keywords, for Natural & Paid, native built in system variables (at least eVars) so that we can Classify them for Segmentation, Pathing, Fall Outs, Path Finder, etc.
Now that google has encryptet paid search keywords we get a lot of "not provided" in the paid keywords reports. Unfurtunately if you have linkedin your Adwords account with your Google Analytics account you still get the keyword data. For this we get a lot of push back from clients.Make it possible to add a Google Adwords account in the admin console so we get the same data in Analytics. I know that the Media Optimizer product allows for this but many are not ready to pay the price for this. Its a serious disadvantage for Analytics that will drive Google Analytics uptake, so please consider this asap.
From what I can tell, it seems like it is extremely rare for any suggestion to reach 45 votes. Perhaps we should lower the bar to a more achievable number of votes in order for a greater number of ideas to be assessed by the product team!!
At the moment, you can only have 30 resource managers. We need more as we have a large studio and many users need oversight of all projects - but have been advised that the limit is at 30 for speed/efficiency reasons. It would be great if we could have an increase in the number of resource managers we can have, without sacrificing the speed of the system.
Would love to be able to filter out fields while creating any report based on the group/sub-groups selected. We have many fields that are specific to a particular group and seeing all fields together might sometimes be confusing to the users.
Sending emails to recipients based on their time zone is a great new feature Marketo has delivered recently--and part of what makes it such a robust option is that it uses several fields and factors to calculate a recipient's time zone. That data would be incredibly useful if it was exposed to either the API or UI as a read-only field for calculating other actions on. Two that come to mind immediately would be smarter list segmentation and hooking into a technology integration (sending SMS messages at local times, rather than all at once.) Unfortunately, the system-calculated time zone is not available and thus users have to do their own time zone calculations today, making redundant work.
There is a Reviewing Proofs pdf that seems to be the go-to for Proof review/approval functionality training. There are a number of outdated links in the document, and it also shows viewing from Home, which an external user can't see. A concise (not 20pg) document which simply explains how to review static/motion etc. assets, comment and approve Proofs from an email link for an external user only is crucial. I have seen discussion on this, and it seems people have had to create their own documentation on this repeatedly, myself included. Thanks
