We've seen leads come into Marketo from SFDC and/or list uploads where vowels with umlauts or accent marks are all converted to this character: While we track these closely and a correction can often be made by going back to the list and making sure it is saved/uploaded as UTF-8, sometimes, there are leads where the fix has to be made manually because the same character replaces all vowels + umlauts or accent marks. It would be great if different/unique special characters could be assigned by Marketo for each combination of vowels and accent marks so that a find a replace smart campaign could be used to restore the correct values.
We have two use cases for this request. First, if an existing document on one object should be on a different object, we would like functionality to be able to simply relink to a different object. If we have a document at the project object level, and would like to add an issue or task to the project with that specific document, we would like the ability to simply relink it to that object at the lower level.
Currently we have 2 options to set the system to either using the user's FTE or their Schedule. We would use both in our organization.FTE for their availablility hours dependent on their rolesSchedule for the Exception days for independent province holidaysHaving to choose one or the other wouldn't provide us with accurate Resource availability hours.
Our agency has a lot of pipeline work in Planning Mode. It would be great if the daily summary could show a split of hours. All and Planned side-by-side. Also, if we can have some way to see the tasks that come from planned projects, that would be very helpful. Many times we have to bump planned work for new, booked work. Right now, we have to click on every task so we can see if the project is planned or not.
Problem: Utilization Chart is only able to be generated for a WEEK or MONTH. Users are not able to view utilization charts for a custom date range. This make it impossible to see how the project is progressing over the entire life cycle of the project or during a specific data range. Solution: Provide users to select custom date ranges and generate the Utilization Graph from those dates.
Hello, We are beginning our journey with Workfront and would really like to get some stronger and more detailed insights from the resource planner. What we would like to see is a 18 month window (6 months historical, 12 months forecast) of our demand (what is planned out for our particular team) showing where that time is being spent, maybe a program, portfolio and project level grouping. [Area Chart] Combined with this is the actual hours submitted for the last 6 months again grouped in the same way. [Bar Chart] Over the top, we would like to see how many hours we have available for FTE's [Red Line] and Contractors [Blue Line] This then maps out as per the example: With that chart being dynamic, and us using a project template, we can then get a strong view for the demand that we are being asked to deliver and the capacity to actually deliver this. In the new resource planner you do have a majority of the items required to build this report. and I think this chart should take pla
Currently, the Resource Planner allows us to group data by week, month and quarter. We would like the ability to group data by year as well, so we can easily track resourcing trends year over year.
Currently there is only a Month and Week view for Utilization under Resource Management. It would be very helpful for planning to see this in a Quarterly View.
We (resource managers) should be able to update a user's budgeted hours by project when viewing the resource planner by user. Currently, the resource planner only shows available and planned hours. If we have the ability to see the total number of hours budgeted to a user for any date range, we could forecast more accurately and without having to export the data and reformat in excel. The system should be able to handle user restrictions (whether they are a designated resource manager on projects or not) and allow others to just view the budgeted hours.
It would be extremely valuable to be able to access the data in Workload Balancer either via report or API for custom reports in order to forecast project profitability and department revenues for firms with more dynamic resource planning. With this access, future planned hours of both active projects and future proposals could be combine with past actual hours to get an accurate forecast of revenue earned over time (by month, by quarter, etc) as well as a more accurate forecasted profitability for fixed fee projects.
We sell multiple product categories on our site. For example: Toys, Baby, Grocery. A user may place an order that has a product from each category. For example:Order Revenue = 500Toys = 100Baby = 300Grocery = 100If want to see Revenue by Category, I would run a product report against our revenue metric. Lets say I wanted to create a calculated metric for 'Grocery Revenue'. My most granular option is this:Segment Container: HitSegment Variable: Products = GroceryMetric = RevenueThe problem with this is that the 'hit' container would include all revenue in this order. So the value would be 500 instead of 100 (unless I broke it down by products). It would be great to add an additional container that would allow us to 'filter' on the variable in the container depending on the report I am viewing. This would give us (Visitor, Visit, Hit, Filter) containers and would increase flexibility when creating reports/dashboards etc.Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
Please include a choice to permanently make adobe stock searches "subscription content". I can't count the number of times I have found an image that my client and I both like only to find out that it's a premium image. I never plan on purchasing a premium image so I would love to never see them. I frequently check the box in search but have noticed that it does not stay checked. If this happens too many times I will go looking for another service ... I know there are other places to get the same images. Thank you! -Why is this feature important to you - I have a couple of times been buying several images at a time and accidentally purchased a premium image. I cannot afford to purchase premium images and neither can my clients. How would you like the feature to work - A box is checked in your account to show only subscription content. Premium content would never been seen until you ask for it.Current Behaviour - You can check "subscription content" in the search field but it never stays
Hi there,We are missing the ability to select a resource pool filter in the scheduling tool, so we can see and schedule to only that resource pool. Thanks!
Using filters in scheduling view is hard, because they are using OR function when inputing more than 1 "role", "team", "user". Especially when filtering by "role" I want to use AND function. That's simply how filters should work. If I'm looking for a resource who has role X, Y and Z, and I input roles X, Y, Z into filter I don't get the result I want, I don't find person who combines all 3 roles. Instead I get 3 lists of people who have each role, but I still don't know who has all 3.If not by default. I would love to have an option to customize if I'm using AND vs OR function
i've only recently been made aware that in the scheduling, all users receive tasks from projects that are not only current but on hold, in planning etc. i would recommend that a filter been created so that those tasks do not show up in people's schedule if the project is not active.
Our organization is very matrix. Our resource managers user filter to filter out his/her teams and jobs roles to reduce the number of entries in the resource scheduling to assign work to projects. He/her don't really have right to assign users/job roles that not belong to them. However, We notice in the "action" to mass assign or swap user, if i have existing filter set in the view, I still get all the jobs roles and users in the projects. This is not ideal. This increase accidental mistakes to assign the wrong job role to the wrong group of users. Can this filter function be apply to Action drop down list?
When using the scheduling tool or staffing tab to reassign resources, our Project managers will very rarely give individual projects to different team members. They will assign a whole campaign to a new project manager so will be easier for them to reassign resources by picking a whole campaign rather than all projects that sit within it.
Add the ability to assign a resource name in the Workload Balancer to all tasks (per that role) in a project and into a program/campaign.Currently you have to assign a resource one by one into a task. I want to say this resource is being assigned to all tasks within all projects within a program/campaign. Essentially a bulk update to the assignee for all role tasks.Example:During our weekly staffing meeting, we discuss which new campaigns & projects have been requested and what needs to be staffed. For a product launch, we may have about 6 projects that have tasks for many roles (designer, project manager, account executive, production artist, web developer, etc.). We need to see which designers have availability during that time frame then quickly assign that designer to that campaign (6 projects and say 20 tasks).Currently, we need to maintain a spreadsheet of current campaigns/projects with columns for each role. Then the PM either needs to manually assign each designer task
It would be great to have the possibility to access the data from the Resource Budgeting or Planner also in own reports. Similar as in the past with Resource Estimates. This would allow to get a better tailored overview on specific data I would like to get people's attention on and not overwhelm them with too many numbers at once.
A nice feature to get would be to be able to run a report showing me where a specific calculated metric or segments is used, in order to make it easy to clean up and streamline calculated metrics and segments across all suites, users, reports, dashboards etc…It might be possible to get an overview over Discover Projects, dashboards, bookmarks and scheduled reports using specific segments and calculated metrics across all Adobe Marketing Cloud products.More difficult to find may be non-scheduled Excel Client or Report Builder reports using any of those and in case those can’t be found (maybe by looking at what has been refreshed last 3 months etc.) a better warning in those reports telling the user that a specific segment or calculated metric has been removed/replaced by something else. This feature would make administrating large enterprise accounts way easier that it is today. This will help us maintain a high reporting quality by users not knowing everything going on with the tool and
When using the scheduling tool, it would be more beneficial for the filters to apply to all tasks and issues whether they are assigned or not.We never have a reason that the filters will be applied to only one section.
Currently resource contouring allows you to add in the exact hours per-day for a tasks duration. This has the potential to be incredibly helpful for resource management, albeit cumbersome. I noticed that once the schedule changes, which in our agency is all the time, the hours get redistributed across the duration of the task evenly (negating any hours contouring that had been done). It would be lovely if it shifted the hours to the relative business days the task newly falls on. I think a scenario where the duration changes, an even redistribution makes sense, though. Also, you have to set the hours in the project plan before you can contour them in the Scheduler. It would be more efficient to be able to set the total task hours in the scheduler while contouring instead of trying to match whatever total you had to put in the project plan. And finally, I think this is actually a bug or something maybe not considered - those daily contoured hours need to surface through the a
Our Project Managers and Resource Managers would love the ability to see how many hours are available on a day when that user has scheduled time off. Currently, we can see the gray bar in the scheduler which indicates that some time has been scheduled off for that day, but there is no indication of how many hours they are off or what time of day they are off. If a user has the AM off, our RM may still be able to assign some rush projects to them that same day. If they are off in the PM, the RM would know to move on to the next resource. As of now, we are relegated to trial and error when assigning tasks to resources who have partial days off.
In the Scheduling Tool, the only way you can tell if a resource is scheduled for time off is this light grey bar that stretches the width of the time off dates. I've noticed that the grey bar is buried in within other tasks that may be assigned, so it's not easy to tell if a resource is available or not. I suggest making it more noticeable and moving the "time off" bar to the top of the resource's list of "tasks." I'm happy to submit a screenshot of this if needed.
PROPOSED SOLUTIONGlobal Utilization (via Reporting) should count all actual hours on projects, including time logged on the Project, on Tasks or on Issues.SITUATIONAs resource managers look at the Global Utilization the Actual Hours reported is not counting all hours on projects - only hours logged on Tasks.USE CASEThe purpose of Global Utilization should be to look at what was budgeted and planned and the total sum of actual hours on projects - not just those hours planned and logged on tasks. Commonly we have people work on projects where tasks in a workflow were not planned, or support projects from a strategic level. Users log time on projects, tasks and issues, and those hours should all be the calculated sum of Total Actual Hours on the project. From our research, Global Utilization is the only area to visualize the Budgeted Hours, Planned Hours and Actual Hours for groupings (programs) of projects. Project Utilization does include all actual hours, but we need to visualize many
