We have multiple custom fields that calculate and display fee and rate information at the project and task levels. The users who are creating projects should not have access to view these fields. Currently the custom field access restrictions only allow us to hide these based on project sharing, i.e. users who have Manage access can view the fields, so whoever creates the project automatically can see the data. We would like to be able to mark these as "Finance" fields so that they obey the "View Finance" restriction on the Access Level. Project creators would have "View Finance" unchecked in their Access Level and therefore would not see the fields.
Right now, it is not possible to see subtotals in the groupings of the Hour Reports. For example, if the company wants to know the total of hours sold within a period of time or the Sum of the prices of all the projects to create the total currency amount of sold projects. The options that appear at the moment of creating the report are limited and do not allow the report to be adding up all the necessary information. We consulted this issue with two different Workfront consultants and this is a feature that do not exist right now in Workfront.
Currently cloud connections like OneDrive use a per-user authorization format only. This means it cannot be globally authorized in azure at the Admin level. Given our cybersecurity needs following a hacking incident -- our IT team needs to globally authorize.
I'm very surprised this does not exist. A text book item for project management is Lessons Learned. Sure we all have doc templates to capture but the purpose of this tool for us is to not have things in various documents. The build/function should be the same as "Issues". This will allow the PMs or resources assigned to document lessons learned throughout the project in a simple way and can be reported on at the end.
Fix the report Summary Tab so it displays the data in the Details Groups regardless of how that data is obtained. For calculated fields it currently displays nothing.
Adding a Proof to Multiple Work Orders at once
The typeahead field is a great time saver...until a user can't do anything with it. We have a request form that asks the requestor (lowercase 'r') to select the Portfolio associated with their request. However, anyone of the Requestor (capital 'R') is inherently and forever granted No Access to Portfolios and Programs. All we need them to see is the name, which the typeahead should provide.
It would be great to have the ability to customize our Workspace Project Colors. Looking to incorporate our brand colors to the reports/charts/etc, to give the deliverables a more custom look. It would also be helpful to customize the Workspace colors for colorblind report recipients.
Hi, It would be great if Marketo provides an export feature(excel or ideally PDF format) to share account insights dashboard with stakeholders or sales teams. In TAM, Marketo provides a dashboard for individual accounts where it provides account activity, performance, top people, interesting moments and other details. Currently, there is no option to share this data as a view with sales at an account level and i think sales and others who don't have access to marketo(Marketing leaders/demand gen etc) can definitely benefit by having a quick overview of this outside marketo. Thanks, vineela.
Currently, timesheets are still being generated for users that have been deactivated, which means that they're appearing in the All Timesheets area. Ideally, timesheets wouldn't get generated for deactivated users, but if that's not possible, if we could create a filter to limit the timesheets we're seeing to only Active users.
We would love the ability to hide certain Overview fields at project conversion the same way we can hide them in a layout template. It's great that users do not have to see unnecessary dates or schedule fields once they are in a project, but it is really confusing for them to see these fields when they are converting a project using a template. The ask is that we could hide fields on a project template, just as we do on a layout template. similar idea:https://one.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z000000PSegAAG/detail
Hi, I think it would be great if we have a schedule option to launch and deactivate our trigger campaigns. Use case: Most of us might have a need to set up handful of trigger campaigns ahead of time and launch them and set an expiration date to deactivate them rather than manually doing that- operational programs/monthly attribution programs/routing rules etc. I know Adobe sends an email for the idle trigger campaigns but my use case is more towards the end user being able to control them in individual workspaces during creation phase and monitor them in the campaign inspector section - by providing a quick and easy toggle - to set a expiration date. Thanks, vineela.
Our sales team has recently started using MSI. They are requesting to add PDF attachments to emails sent with MSI via Salesforce. Adding this as an idea for future development.
There are two important things I miss in Lightroom:1) With the selective tools like the brush I would like to have 6 buttons that I can assign individually with the functions I need to switch quickly between your individual presets. 2) When pasting copied settings (incl. local adjustments) it is very annoying that you first have to click on the brush in the new image to move it with a second click. It would be much faster for the workflow if I could click the button for the brush and drag it immediately.
The recent Adobe Analytics UI update changed how the site navigation menu options function. Previously, clicking on a menu category (e.g. Tools) would direct you to a page showing all items available in that menu, and hovering your mouse over the menu category would results in a list of options being displayed. Now clicking on the menu item opens the list, but does not take you to the category main page. This adjustment hasn't negatively impacted my experience with the site. The change that has become an issue is that we can no longer right click an item in the expanded menu and open the option in a new tab. This has been my experience in Chrome. The screenshot below shows that opening in a new tab or new window is no longer an option. This means that I cannot, for example, open a new Workspace project to drill down into something without duplicating the tab or abandoning the current page that I am on. This UI change was possibly caused by a shift away
I think having the option to add an additional level of security to forms would be great.Bots are getting smarter and it would be nice to have another level of validation to ensure that we're interacting with humans.
Before 6/17/2021, full page URL greater than 255 char is available in Data Warehouse reports. However, when all report suites were updated to have Same-as-SiteCatalyst VISTA Processing set to ON since that date, the Page URL dimension in data warehouse is now truncated to 255 char. To have no character limit for the Page URL dimension in Data Warehouse is important because this is the only place where full page URL is available in reporting and I have many page URLs that are super long. These long URLs are generally as a result of needs to use 3rd party content and can't be easily minimized for publishing. While I like the idea to make sure data warehouse reflects workspace reports, please allow exceptions for out of box Page URL.
Description - Update ab/xt/ap report api to return metric level details.Currently the API does return the list of metrics associated with the activity along with their metricLocalIdBut only gives high level entry & conversion numbers for visitor/visit/impression/landing per experienceWhy is this feature important to you -When managing numerous activities it is a hassle needing to manually go into each one and expand metrics.Would like to use reporting api to get same information as can be seen in web UI so that information can be incorporated along with data not in Adobe. How would you like the feature to work -Basically simulating what can be done in the reporting UI but through the API1. Allow querystring parameters to set start and end date range2. Include metric values in json responseAlternatively allow downloading of the same csv export but via the api.Current Behaviour -Each report type (ab/xt/ap) has only a simple GET endpoint with no configurable options. It returns onl
I like to group all kinds of things by Group. While it appears to be an option with Custom Forms, it's not a true Group ownership. I've been using the Share function to grant Groups access to Custom Forms as applicable, which works at the surface. If a form, though, has no Group access assigned, the "Group" appears to default to some sort of association with the creator. If that creator moves Groups, the form doesn't follow. This makes it difficult to track who and how Custom Forms are managed.
User gets assigned tasks with generic, non-descriptive names. Once they figure out what they are supposed to do, they would like to be able to add a nickname for that task so they can better find and bill to it.
Users would like the ability to Temporarily Hide Tasks/Projects on Timesheet when not actively working on them. The list of tasks/projects on their timesheet is very long and they would like to be able to manage what they see.
If you don't use commit dates and everything is based on planned dates setup by the project manager, as a system administrator you should be able to remove commit dates from the product. When commit dates are removed, no user will see them or set/change them anymore. To be honest, most users don't even notice commit date until it starts messing with their projections. In the innovation lab there have been numerous requests to change commit date behaviour, that either haven't been implemented, or have been marked implemented when the solution doesn't actually resolve the issues users are experiencing. The historical requests to fix commit date include:1. Description -From a governance perspective separation of duties between Developing, Approving and Publishing a library is really important to us. Unfortunately, the permissions management in Adobe Launch is not flexible enough to enable us to enforce a separation of duties between developing and approving a library. This is because like many Digital Analytics teams we do not have enough people to have a separate development team with development rights and a separate testing team with approval rights. Instead, users perform both development and testing activities which means they have to hold both the "develop" and "approve" permissions. This means the system will allow the user to approve a library that they have submitted for approval (i.e. they can approve something they have developed, therefore no system enforced separation of duties). Why is this feature important to you -Governance and security is incredibly important to our organisation and many other
It would be very useful to know the date that the revision was created when using the compare revisions screen - at the moment you just get the revision number (e.g. revision 3):
Instead of showing the parent object name in NWE Notifications, please show the project name like it did in Classic Notifications, where it showed the project name and task name. Showing the project name in Notifications was more helpful to the user when reviewing their notifications since the parent tasks may use repetitive names.
