Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Would like the following feature - Cache Hit Ratio to be refined as a factor for Optimization in BPO Reports Use-case: We received a BPO Report highlighting Cache Hit Ratio of 80% against Adobe's recommendation of 90%.The implementation is AEMaaCS thus using Adobe's Fastly CDN. The metric is also calculated at CDN end. However, a large number of requests which are received at Dispatcher are not cache able. (Health Check based requests like /system/probes/health, /system/probes/live, /system/probes/ready and Bot Based Requests like GET /3x.php/?3x=3x which are blocked at Dispatcher) Current/Experienced Behavior: The metric calculated at CDN would take into account both bot based requests which are blocked at Dispatcher (but not CDN!) and Health Check based requests which are not cached and served to Publish instances via Dispatcher. Improved/Expected Behavior: The metric should exclude these service based requests (if not alre
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Would like to add the following feature: Extend support for videos and content fragments to be part of Connected Assets. Use-case: We would like to establish a remote DAM instance as single source of truth across all environments. The DAM instance will store not only images and documents but videos & content fragments as well. Current/Experienced Behavior: Videos & Content Fragments are not part of Connected Assets. Improved/Expected Behavior: Videos & Content Fragments should be accessible from Remote DAM Instance. Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AMS - AEM 6.5.11 Customer-name/Organization name: TA Digital Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if applicable): @kautuk_sahni - This might not be a new feature request but would like to know the challenges involved in implementing this idea if it is categorized as non-feasible.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Related case #E-000849947 Use-case: Customer leverages AEM Assets & Screens on cloud service and AEM Sites on Managed service. They use Connected Assets to sync images from Assets CS to AEM Sites Managed service for use in component creation via drag & drop. Currently, they see all images that they have permission to on Assets cloud service. Including images that are not published to Dynamic media / scene7. More details can be found on #E-000849947 Current/Experienced Behavior: There is no way to filter these images with status Published / Unpublished. As a result they see too many images on the connected assets rail. Improved/Expected Behavior: Filtering for published & unpublished assets is necessary to be able to work efficiently on connected asset rail. Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: configuration of columns orders in list views Use-case: in the view settings or directly in the table results, be able to change column order as prefered Current/Experienced Behavior: in the settings we can only sort by some of metadata Improved/Expected Behavior: the expected behavior is to be able to order as we want the different columns Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEM as a Cloudservice Customer-name/Organization name: Louis Vuitton Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if applicable):
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: When deploying to Production from the stage pipeline, if the user clicks Resume manually or Approve that a popup dialog would appear to request the user to confirm the deployment to Production. Use-case: If the user accidentally clicks on Resume manually or accidently clicks Approve Current/Experienced Behavior: The pipeline will deploy to Production without giving the user the option to cancel Improved/Expected Behavior: Provide a popup dialog box giving the user the option to cancel or proceed. Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Use-case: Currently we have several projects / brands that are deployed on AEM, in the case of small fixes we are obliged to deploy all the projects /brands even if the fix concerns only one project / brand or a small module , which is very impactful in terms of deployment time if we consider that we deploy several times a day. We hope to have a way to deploy by project / brand instead of a global deployment, or even better a deployment of modules, sub-projects, or a selection of specific files, which will optimize the deployment time that we currently has (15 to 20 minutes on average). Current/Experienced Behavior: Deployment average 15 to 20 min Improved/Expected Behavior: Deployment average 10 min (depending of the files deployed) Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): Dev, QA, UAT, Stage, PROD Customer-name/Organization name: Accor Screenshot (if applicable): &
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Make `npm audit` a warning by changing it to audit-level="info" or remove it from the pipeline to prevent it blocking production builds Use-case: Npm audit should be used as an informative tool, not as a gateway test for building to production. The reason this is important is because most audit errors are caused by the build toolchain, and does NOT have an impact on the final application. Furthermore, remediation of npm audit is not always possible, meaning you'd be permanently blocked. For more info, see this article: https://overreacted.io/npm-audit-broken-by-design/ Current/Experienced Behavior: npm audit returns exit code 1, blocking the pipeline from continuing. Improved/Expected Behavior: npm audit returns exit code 0 using audit-level="info", or remove it from the pipeline commands. Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): Customer-name/Organization name:
Description - Integrate Core Web Vitals data directly into Adobe Analytics. Why is this feature important to you - Currently have to use outside plugins or tools to find the Core Web Vitals data then cross-reference with Adobe Analytics data. How would you like the feature to work - Run Core Web Vitals reports directly within Adobe Analytics. Current Behaviour - Not applicable.
Description - Currently, all proof indicators switch to green when a proof is approved, even when some reviewers have yet to opened the proof. Users see this as a glitch as it indicates they have seen, commented, etc, when they have not.Why is this feature important to you - ease of use / clarity for usersHow would you like the feature to work - rather than turning green, can the indicators be marked n/a or something other than green? Current Behaviour - all proof indicators switch to green when a proof is approved, even when some reviewers have yet to open the proof
Description - Using the Task Reference #, Add the ability to include it in multiple projects that share the same task but use different workflows or need to see it as a trigger to start a workflow. Why is this feature important to you - Reduce template/workflow redundancy or being forced to include another team's workflow in a larger workflow just to keep the team notified. How would you like the feature to work - When creating a new task, have the option to plug in a Task Reference number from another project. Any updates made in one project would reflect across other projects using the same task#. All aliased tasks could be denoted by using italicized fonts.Current Behaviour - N/A
When copying a project, we would like to be able to remove the budget hours option in the checklist. We still want to allow PM’s to copy a project though but this new option would cause issues to our process if selected.
Hello everyone,When I add a comment to a proof on the desktop application, I can use Ctrl + N as a keyboard shortcut but it doesn't work as I expect on interactive proofs. For example, I create a proof for Google like the screenshot I attached, and open it using the desktop application. If I want to add a markup and a comment to the popup under the mic icon, I have to use any keyboard shortcut because the popup disappears when I move my mouse away. However, any keyboard shortcut doesn't work just after I do something on the page.To use the keyboard shortcut, I have to click the menu bar of the desktop application once. So, when I become able to use the keyboard shortcut, all popups already disappear.Does it make sense?I'm happy if you can agree with me and Workfront will improve the application!Regards,
Use Case - Stock Recommendation Objective: To show relevant buy/sell stock recommendation based on buyers watchlist option chosen in the website. Fields to be Used: Custom Object: Account Securities Custom Field: InWatchlist Custom Field: SecType Use Case Scenario If InWatchlist is Yes and has the SecType Containing specific counter want to show a banner for the user with buy/sell in the website. Example; If user has the counter Sectype DelMonte in Watchlist SecName: DelMonte InWatchList: Yes Then show the Delmonte Banner in web campaign for that particular user (In Future we wanted to make the text within banner to be dynamically updated from the data sets from custom objects) Current Issue: Since we are unable to import Custom Objects within the Account Database (below is screenshot) we are unable to identify that particular user has added the specific counter to his watchlist. And due to the same we are unable to fire the relevant web campaig
Description - Email notifications are not very configurable, especially at the user level. It would be great if users could mute notifications for specific objects or the admin could select what statuses get overdue notifications. Why is this feature important to you - reduce notification SPAMHow would you like the feature to work - Enable users to mute email notifications on an object by object basis (for a day/week/month) and give admins the ability to configure what statuses do and do not get notifications. e.g. On Hold statuses do not get overdue notifications.Current Behaviour - Users and Admins cannot control notifications at this level causing users to enter arbitrary dates on requests to prevent notification overload.
Description - Formatting options for the message body of the email for scheduled report deliveryWhy is this feature important to you - 1. I would like to include a separate embedded link in the description field to display under the report name when a report if being viewed - (external link, not Workfront link) 2. I would like to use formatting to break up or bullet point report descriptions that display under the report name How would you like the feature to work - a formatting tool bar for the report description field would be idealCurrent Behaviour - currently, the text in the description field of a report displays as plain text under the name. I can use returns, however, I am unable to use bold, underline, italic or embed an html link in that field. If you use ONLY a url, then it is clickable. However, that is pointless when you cannot label it or explain why a user should click it.
Description - Formatting options for the message body of the email for scheduled report deliveryWhy is this feature important to you - 1. I would like to include embedded links in the body of the email instead of long, ugly urls 2. recipients do not pay attention to the plain text in the email notification for report deliveries. It is overshadowed by the large blue report name that looks like the primary point of the email message. How would you like the feature to work - a formatting tool bar to use in the Email Message field would be idealCurrent Behaviour - currently, the message body is lost because the report heading link looks like to most important part of the email and the plain text looks like secondary information or even disclaimer or footnote.
When a resource goes out of the office, weather it is 1 day or 6 months, sometimes timelines cannot shift, so someone else needs to complete out tasks, issues, requests, proofs, etc.... We would like to have an option in the profile setting for each resource that they could place in an OOO and who is covering for a specific date range. The OOO would then delegate all tasks, issues, requests, etc... to the person outlined in the OOO. The resource delegated would be able to finish items on behalf of the person out. When the person would return they would turn the OOO off and everything would revert back to the true owner.
Description - We are using Project custom form. There are set of fields which are defined below a section break where only Workfront Admin can make any edits , changes or updates. So in essence none of the fields should appear as editable for non admin users , they should be greyed out. But for "Single Line Text field" for which we are using format as "currency" and is used to save amount (in dollars ) appears as editable. Any user can make an update to the values in this field. However when user tries to save these values, an error is thrown "You must be a system admin to change this custom data parameter value." Thus data integrity is maintained but its not good user experience Why is this feature important to you - This is required for good user experience. Currently this is causing confusion to end users. How would you like the feature to work - All the fields under "Admin Only " section break needs to be greyed out and not show as editableCurrent Behavio
There are certain issues and tasks that I want to be notified whenever a new update is made on it, without being assigned to it.
We would like all the existing Adobe Analytics dimensions (eVars[1-200], props[1-75], and events[1-1000], list[1-3]) to be automatically mapped using a supported or new schema mixin. In addition, this would be needed for product syntax eVars and events. This is important for existing implementations with a significant number of custom dimensions. It will ensure customers will not have to manually map every single custom dimension via processing rules. In addition, it will allow customers that leverage the raw data feed to use the AEP SDK. At this time, only specific dimensions are automatically supported.https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/edge/data-collection/adobe-analytics/man... This is already supported for standard dimensions like products, commerce, and page details. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/edge/data-collection/adobe-analytics/aut... For us, the raw data feed is critical for our
When modifying a layout template's header fields, we noticed 'Priority' isn't an option under Tasks or Issues. Reference Number and Status are, which are basic information, so it would also be helpful to have 'Priority' available in the header instead of having to click into task/issue details.
Description - A panel that can be updated from one source and used within multiple projects. Why is this feature important to you -Consistency mainly but also for democratisation. Teams will want bespoke projects for their needs but across teams they will have similar questions. For example merchandisers, trading and marketing will want bespoke projects but within each of these projects they want to understand top search terms. The top terms panel is built the same across each project, any breakdowns can be achieved with dropdowns. How would you like the feature to work -Somewhere to build and pull in template panels to quickly build projects. When I update a dynamic panel it updates for all the projects it applies to. There could also be the ability to unlock a panel after pulling it in, using it as a starting block. Current Behaviour -Each panel within each project is unique
The ability to expire all assets inside a program at a selected date and time is helpful, but I'd like to be able to go one step further and manage more than one program at the same time. I would be happy with the ability to do this either a) by having a "set local asset expiration" option on a folder that would cascade to all assets inside the folder, or b) by enhancing the Campaign Inspector to allow for bulk activation/deactivation as suggested in this Idea from 2014. I'm proposing this as a separate idea in case local asset expiration is more appealing/easy to implement than Campaign Inspector upgrades, because either would work for my use case.
Expose the trigger campaign execution priority and whether or not the default campaign execution priority has been overriden or not in the in the "Campaign Inspector" tab to allow the view of all the campaigns' priority at one single place, instead of the need to go through each campaign to determing the priority and whether or not it has been overridden or not. Community post for reference - https://nation.marketo.com/t5/product-discussions/campaign-priority-override-see-all-overridden-campaigns/m-p/326247
As a Workfront user who has a need to access the AEM DAM, I want a seamless experience accessing AEM DAM assets in Workfront environment If I am an existing AEM DAM user on Workfront, I want Workfront Connector to allow access to AEM DAM content as per my existing AEM user access permission without creating a separate user profile in AEM If I am not an existing AEM DAM user, when using Workfront I want Workfront Connector to inform me to get access to the DAM - inorder to browse AEM DAM content from within Workfront e.g. “No preview of content, please request access to AEM DAM”
