Allow for the addition and/or removal of columns in a view without requiring the creation of a static view. This would add efficiency to the project management process. Description - Upon selecting a project table column, enable the selection of an optional value to filter for.Current state of creating and saving a static filter in order to restrict view values is cumbersome and unintuitive when compared with the flexibility of active filtering enabled in other project management tools (Excel, MS Lists, Notion, Clickup, etc.). Being able to actively filter for desired column values would increase efficiency. This feature should allow for a temporary filter to be reset to the standard or saved. How would you like the feature to work - Upon selecting a project table column, the selection of an optional value to filter for should be enabled.Current Behaviour - Current state of creating and saving a static filter in order to restrict view values is cumbersome and unintuitive when compared with the flexibility of active filtering enabled in other project management tools (Excel, MS Lists, Notion, Clickup, etc.)
Description - add the ability for notifications to be sent when issues or tasks are approved, irrespective of task/issue status (ex: from “New – pending approval”, to “New”). Why is this feature important to you - our users rely on automations, especially notifications, to let them know when work is ready for them, and we use approvals throughout the project lifecycle, which are milestone points after which work can then start. It would be good to be able to not have to go manually ("refresh feed") for this one instance, and instead still get push notifications. How would you like the feature to work - enable the option to have notifications be turned on for instance or group level, for all status changes related to approvals, not just for "resolved" statuses.Current Behaviour -Currently, the available notification can only be sent if the status is set to resolved (similar to from "resolved - pending approval" to "resolved"). If an approval pathway is kicked off at another tas
DescriptionThe personal time off feature on Workfront is confusing from a design aspect and continually causes problems with teams trying to mark time off if they have a partial day off. The time off section says [Name] will be gone:✔ All dayFrom __ __To __ __ If you uncheck all day, then the system asks for your working hours. This is where it gets confusing to users because it still looks like the system is asking for your time off since it shows like this: [Name] will be gone: □ All dayWorking Hours:From __ __To __ __ The "working hours" is in a lighter grey color and appears small, so your eye is drawn to the [Name] will be gone, so it looks like that person should fill out the time they are gone, not the time they are available and working. Why is this feature important to youThis feature is important because even after training folks and bringing this to their attention, it still continues to cause confusion. This makes it challenging to know how acc
Say you are looking at a Marketo LP in a browser at the URL:go.marketo.com/some-great-contentand you want to find that LP in your Marketo instance. It would be nice if you could enter the URL of a Marketo LP ("go.marketo.com/some-great-content" in this case) and Marketo would return the Marketo LP name and location so you could easily find it in your instance.
Even for savvy WF users, creating cross-project task predecessors doesn't exactly come naturally and aren't very easy to remember how to create. When you have campaigns or multi-project initiatives with related dates across projects using the same group of templates often, it's time-consuming to create cross-project predecessors every time in the projects after they're created -- would be a huge efficiency to be able to connect TEMPLATE tasks so that when projects are created with them, the cross-project predecessors are automatically embedded. Cross-project task predecessors are a great feature of WF, but I feel it's under-utilized bc they're hard to create and not able to be created in a more automated way. Having them in templates would be a game changer where you can specify connect X task in Y template with A task in B template.
Such a bummer to have to submit this as i was hoping this was already a thing. We have a group that has several stages of proofing for their projects, and we are trying to avoid the proof owners having to constantly type out a message each time they send a proof. It seems logical that if you can create an automated workflow, you'd be able to create a custom message to go along with it. Even to create, as another user suggested, an automated custom message for each stage of a Workflow, would be a huge time saver. If this is an easy thing for the WF devs to do and for the PM's to add to our roadmap, man that would be great. 🙏
Description - An enhancement to hide the filter or disable the options in the filter. Why is this feature important to you - To hide tasks that are not relevant to the clientsHow would you like the feature to work - As per the descriptionCurrent Behaviour - I created a filter for our clients where they won't see the tasks that we tagged as not applicable. It's working fine in the original setting but now with the new UI for filter and views, they can remove the check mark on the client filter and can already see the tasks that we tagged as not applicable.
Description - The "system updates" toggle should save by object. Why is this feature important to you - Some projects I do not want to see system updates and some I do. I have to swap it back and forth based on project/objectHow would you like the feature to work - when I toggle the "system updates" it should save in that position (on/off) for that object.Current Behavior - currently toggling it on/off for a single object toggles it for all objects for that user.
Description - Would like to understand how many users are clicking into update that are tagged in. See who has read the Update, not just the count. Why is this feature important to you - Leader's want to understand how many users are clicking into an Update and reading. And which users. How would you like the feature to work - pop up of who has clicked into WF seen update/how many people. Would be nice to hover over update and see # rather then pulling a reportCurrent Behaviour - We are not able to see who is interacting or reading the Updates
I would like the ability to remove tagged people on a chain if they are no longer needed to get updates.
Description - Enable user to format date within a report prompt just like in the report column. Why is this feature important to you - To decrease the risk of running reports and obtaining the wrong information, troubleshoot to find out it was a date and time error entryHow would you like the feature to work - I would like to have an option when prompted on a date which format I want to use for the date, provide me with the flexibility to set it just like a column in a report, or layout template or by object. Current Behaviour -When running a report with prompt dates, only option is select date and enter a time. which makes it very confusing to users when running report and explains most of the time why report is missing information
Right now performance insight supports only $ USD and do all the calculations based on Opportunity Amount. We are supporting in Salesforce opportunities in multiple currencies - which is not reflected in Marketo's reporting suite. E.g. 1000 KRW = 1000 USD in Performance Insight which makes any metrics derivates from opportunity amount (pipeline, revenue, ROI...) In our case we have a field in Salesforce which recalculates everything to USD. The correct value is available. Sounds like there would be minimum effort to allow us to remap from currently used "Opportunity Amount" field to "Opportunity Amount in USD". Or is there another solution? How do other global customers deal with multiple currencies?
When I share manage access to a dashboard, I would like to have to option to have it automatically give manage access to all the reports within the dashboard as well. Currently, if I give manage access to a dashboard, I have to individually go in to each report still if I want to give manage access to them as well. This seems like an oversight. Would be great not to have to manually do this on each report.
Description - When converting a request to a task or project, the user would see the documents section that is typically available to the requester during form submission. This would allow the user to quickly drag and drop any additional files that were not uploaded when the Request was first submitted. They could do this after the Project is created, but that involves a few more clicks around the interface and this would be faster. Why is this feature important to you - It would reduce the number of clicks needed to add documents either before or after. My process would be more efficient. How would you like the feature to work - This would work exactly like adding a Task to a Project using the "+ New Task" button and clicking "More Options." Picture attached.
Description - Not all build-in fields in Workfront can be set as "Tracked Fields". For example: the Users Timesheet Profile ID cannot be set as Tracked Field, as confirmed by Adobe Support. Why is this feature important to you - Allow Admin to track any changes on the Build-In Tracked Fields for User Timesheet Profile ID.How would you like the feature to work - Allow tracking Build-In Tracked Fields for Users Timesheet Profile ID.Current Behaviour - Currently unable Tracked Build-In Tracked Fields for Users Timesheet Profile ID.
Description - Currently, there's no value in reporting to filter and view reports with "Prompt Enable". There's a value name "Show Prompts" that we initially thought will filter the reports with Prompt Enable. But after checking with Adobe Support, the "Show Prompts" value is only showing Reports that "Prompt is enabled in Dashboard".Why is this feature important to you - In an environment with thousands of users, this is important to view/filter and impact assess if the admin is performing changes which will impact reports with prompt enable. (E.g. Changing Custom Field Name will impact the Report with Prompts)How would you like the feature to work - It would be great that the Report have the value to filter the Report with "Prompt Enable".Current Behaviour - Currently, we do not have the option to Filter Reports with Prompt Enable.
Description - The WF Notification settings are confusing Why is this feature important to you - many of my stakeholders are very busy, they do not have time to figure this out. How would you like the feature to work - Did anyone at Adobe TEST this? Look at it...you have to click, then unclick. Or do I drop down then click, or does the drop down affect all of the click under the drop down? Current Behaviour -To get to this is is, apparently, 5 different clicks. Then there are, get this, really, 49 different notification options. 49...that's like, 1 less than 50, or 7x7, almost half of 100 😉 You get it....overkill and to VPs and CAOs and CNOs - they will do this right? You try doing a 12 step for them...it would look something like this: All, If you’d like less notifications from Workfront follow these (overly busy but required) steps: From the WF Hom
As an Admin, the "Log In As User" function (in the Setup section) is probably my most used feature--yet it's so buried, it's not as useful as it could be. A few ideas that I'd love Workfront to implement to make this well-loved feature even more useful:Ability to "Pin" the "Log in as" to the top navigation bar (in the New Experience)Ability to easily switch between users (so you don't have to log out of one user, go back into Setup and then log in as a new user)--I'd envision a button right next to the orange "Log Out" box that says "Switch User"Log in as 2 users at once (to get side-by-side views of each user and troubleshoot potential problems)
Description - We would like the option to include a second sub-campaign.Why is this feature important to you - Sometimes we need to put projects in more than one bucket to keep track of them. How would you like the feature to work - We would like that second sub-campaign option to be optional. Current Behaviour -
Items once added to calendar cannot be rearranged. This is super annoying when making edits, because items in the calendar are displayed in order in which they are added. Attempt to make any changes in worst case scenario requires editing all previously added items
Expand the formats available in Send Report to include .csv files as well as have the ability to define which sheet shows up first in the file. This would help us to automate an upload into one of our other tools increasing our efficiency.
It would be great if there was a tab where you can see updates of any changes made in templates and who made those edits. Perhaps even just a column that says "Last Edited" with a date and user displayed. I think this would help with accountability and transparency.
I want to be able to auto-submit to a request queue when someone sends an email to an email alias if they have a Workfront account. But not all requesters through the alias have WF accounts & the auto generated email reply would cause questions. I'd still want the failure notification to forward to me if it failed, but not the requester. This would save us from forwarding (or manually submitting) every request that comes through vs only ones that failed. The email SL bounce back is: Your issue was not added to Creative Requests.I would just like this turned off, or if easier, I would be happy with custom email reply.
Anytime an unexpected change occurs, you have to manually Recalculate Financials in order to pull accurate Actual Hours and Costs on a project. An unexpected change could be something as small as someone logging 5 hours to a task and save...realize they meant to put 7 hours and go in and change it. We pull Actual Costs and Hours from the projects on a regular basis, sometimes even weekly. So we have to manually "Recalculate Financials" one at a time for all the projects. It would be great if in the project view, I could select multiple projects (perhaps even a program) and "Recalculate Financials" for all the projects at one time. If it could be set to automatically occur, say once a week....even better.
