I manage projects where I may need to reference multiple projects or users under custom forms. There isn't a clean workaround to implement this, based on what I currently know about Workfront. Adding the capability to select multiple users, projects, etc. in a single field would be beneficial in how I manage my projects and reporting.
Description - I would like to have some of the standard object features added to Billing Records. Specifically the ability to track fields on Billing Records and the ability to restore a billing record from the Recycle Bin. Why is this feature important to you -Tracked Fields - Billing Records potentially contain some of the most important and sensitive date in Workfront. However, it is currently impossible to tell who has made changes to the data stored in them or what they changed. Recover from Recycle Bin - These are important records so it would be particularly helpful to be able to restore one from the recycle bin if it has been deleted by accident. How would you like the feature to work - Same as it does for every other object that allows tracked fields and restoration from recycle bin. Current Behavior - Neither of these options are currently available.
We would like to be able to relate multiple tickets to each other without the caveat of one resolving the other, much like JIRA functionality. Current Workfront functionality is Task -> Task Details -> Task Relationships -> This Resolves (hyperlink to resolving ticket). This works, but sometimes tickets don't need to resolve each other. There are many scenarios where another task may house a similar issue that we want to relate for tracking/posterity's sake, but we don't have a good way of doing that at the moment.
We noticed that the 'Add Task' button is now gone from the new Home page (looks more like a dashboard now) that recently got released. Will this be added back in? We used that functionality quite often, and now we have to go find the individual project and add the task from there which is not as convenient.
We have projects that are essentially co-ops, where multiple clients are involved in the same projects. As such, we have users that support more than one client on these projects. Currently functionality only allows you to assign a user to one company, but this hinders those users from interacting with tickets from other companies i.e. commenting, tagging, being tagged. There is a wall of security there which I understand, but it would be very helpful if we could assign more than one company. You can assign multiple team, groups, and resource pools, why not companies?
Ideally, Gantt chart settings should not disappear after a session has been completed, but should remain "sticky," much like any other user setting within Workfront. And, even better, it would be great to set these on a layout template level for groups.
We have a Global Marketo instance which is synced to the global Salesforce platform. In Marketo, we use segmentations for Regions, Sub-region, languages and more.We can identify regional Marketo programs via our naming convention NNA EMEA PAR LAR in notifications. However, the Salesforce sync errors have no indication of the region. Is there a way to use the Marketo regions segmentation to sort/filter SF error notifications? as currently, all users have to look at all errors and establish their own region or not.We have just integrated Salesforce for EMEA and PAR into Marketo, so looking at all errors to ensure connections and sync are correct.
Currently to do a boolean condition like this : A and B and (C or D)We need to have : A and B and C OR A and B and D It can quickly become misleading with increasing conditions, so would it be possible to add parenthesis or something similar to encase some filters together without interfering with others ?To simplify, would it be possible to be able to create filters with this: A and B and (C or D) ?
We would like to have a user setting for the mobile app that shows who has the mobile app installed and the last login date on the app. That would allow me to make a Workfront group for mobile users and share Mobile related announcements. At this time, I'm unsure who is using the app, so I need to send the mobile announcements to everyone.
We work with a number of project using PowerPoints that need to be reviewed in the native format with speaker notes. WF doesn't currently have the ability to upload a PPT in its native format and be able to view the speaker notes. This is a critical ask for us, and I know others have asked for this as well.
DescriptionAdd formatting options to the Description field on a task. Why is this feature important to youWhen creating tasks we use the description field as a place to hold acceptance criteria. Since it can be long it's nice to be able to format the text in order to organize the requirements. How would you like the feature to workShould be the same as an update where you have formatting options available to you. Current behaviorYou can only input text and don't have the ability to format the copy.
Description - It would be great to have a way to quickly increase/decrease time amounts within the timesheet. I've noticed that in the task Summary Sidebar, in the Hours section, you can increase or decrease by 1-hour increments using the cursor up/down keys after clicking into a cell (unrelated issue, but if you scroll before saving, the value disappears). In the Timesheet, the cursor keys just navigate among the cells. Why is this feature important to you - More efficient timesheet entryHow would you like the feature to work - a few ideas:For quicker entry, either or both of these options: +/- (plus/minus) buttons that appear when you click a cell, so that you can increase/decrease the value with the mousea shortcut key, e.g. SHIFT-UP/SHIFT-DOWN, that allows you to increase/decrease the value with the keyboard, when in a cell.To support the above, customizable increment settings, in timesheet profiles or overall preferences, particularly the ability to set the increment to
It would be really helpful to be able to create folders that can be pinned and then have the ability to add multiple pins into the folder. This would work similar to folders and bookmarks in Chrome. I work with a lot of projects across different teams and I don't have the space to pin everything so being able to group pins into a bucket and expand it from the navigation would be very helpful.
Description - It would help improve our timesheet efficiency if users were able to filter to just the Pinned Tasks. We have complex projects with a large number of active tasks, but don't always need to log time to those tasks for the current timesheet period. Why is this feature important to you - would improve efficiency of filling out timesheetHow would you like the feature to work - I'd expect that there could be a toggle button, similar to the "Show Comments" toggle that could be clicked to filter down to just the Pinned Tasks on projects.Current Behavior - Pinned tasks and active tasks are all shown for each project, which creates a lot of clutter when looking for the tasks that are very frequently used throughout projects.
Currently there is a proof deadline option when selecting "Automated" Proofs but not for "BASIC" Proofs. Since the proof does not have a deadline date when deployed you have to go back into the Workfront system and edit the details within the "Proofing Workflow" with a deadline date. Making the plug-in useless when using "Basic" proof approvals if you want a deadline. See attached visuals. Requesting it to function like the "Automated" proof approval and add the deadline field. (Option with a calendar selection would be a level up.)
I'm making a task report for my creative directors and would love to be able to filter out certain programs and pull in other programs. You could do this by pulling in the resolving project's assigned Program. Hope this is something we could get in the future!
Based on a Program tag, we want to pass the channel to SFDC leads. Today, we must use change data value and type in the value. It would be more reliable if there was a token {program.tag} so that when we clone programs, we can reliably pass that information to the field.
Hoping for the ability to send yourself custom alert messages when triggered by a specific action. Some examples could be: X% of your emails weren't delivered X # of bounces from an email occurred X # of people had a specific data field edited Basically, the ability to send yourself a warning or red flag that something that shouldn't be happening has happened so you can get to the problem faster.
While exporting the Campaign via Engagement Map/Canvas, It is not showing all filters separately like it shows for triggers. If a campaign has 5 filters it is only saying filter(5).If we are exporting campaign for any approval or review then it should have clear picture of all filters so that all filters are visible.
Description - Adobe Analytics has some very useful builtin Reports in Analysis Workspace (and used to have some analysis Templates too). There are some helpful starting points for novice or casual users in there, from Traffic Sources to technical reports. Today, Customer Journey Analytics has no such option, but should. Why is this feature important to you - To help novice users start with something instead of nothing. How would you like the feature to work - Beyond the ability to use company-provided Templates, a Reports-like experience could be achieved if companies use the Adobe-provided AEP XDM Schema fields. For example, using the Web SDK mixin/field group would bring the potential to offer ready-made Reports and Templates in Analysis Workspace. The same is true for other use cases, like industry-specific analysis. Even beyond those, many templates could be built from builtin functionality already, like retention reports. Current Behaviour - 👁️👃👁
Description - Proof lock automatically based on expiry date and time on a single stage proofWhy is this feature important to you - In our environment there may be 5 users on a proof and only one or two are responsible to make the decision, but we never never know form the group who that may be depending on travel and office hours. This would also force users to ask if a proof can be reopened, because they missed the proof deadlineHow would you like the feature to work - when the set date & time are reached the proof automatically locksCurrent Behaviour - the proof can lock: Manually, Never, When the next stage starts or When all decisions are made.
Description - There use to be a visual indicator of previously published revisions, now there is no way to see at a glance those revisions that have been previously published - I have to hover over each revision which is a slow and painful experience 😞
Description - Allow users to remove historical edits that were not published Why is this feature important to you - The version history can become littered with small edits that don't get published. Being able to remove historical edits that were never published to prod will allow us remove unnecessary changes if we choose to.. (You could maybe lock this feature to an admin user?) How would you like the feature to work - Any item in the version history prior to the current published version that has never been published should have an option to remove it from the version history. Current Behaviour - There is no option to remove previous unpublished versions.
Description - Send a notification when a task has moved to "ready to work on" statusWhy is this feature important to you - I do not see my new tasks unless I physically refresh my home page. This is annoying, because I can sometimes go hours without doing so and miss tasks that have tight deadlines. How would you like the feature to work - A task moves to my "ready to work on" bucket, and I get a notification: "[Task] is now ready to work on."Current Behaviour - Tasks move to my "ready to work on" bucket, and I do not get a notification. I am not aware of new tasks unless I physically refresh the home page.
The following are either incomplete or not available and are important to run our campaigns effectively: No Landing page performance link report -cannot see the total number of clicks on a link similar to the email link performance report Event cap - not fully automated and sometimes works/sometimes does not - incomplete Triggers - should be able to schedule them to turn 'on' - we can schedule to deactivate but not activate? - incomplete Setup area for 'reports' is like a 1990s version of microsoft - very hard to see/access assets to tick boxes and add to our reports Recipient time zone option for events sends Fills out form trigger - a constraint for 'time' so we can be more specific with our triggers Send all campaign assets as a ‘test’ in one go- time consuming sending individually, should be able to export with one button Revenue explorer is not user friendly and crashed when you get it more than three parameters Comparing campaigns across different worksp
