Hello, I am experiencing an issue with the Classification Key values in Adobe Analytics. During a recent session with a representative, the following points were identified: When running an export job in the Classification Sets UI, the downloaded file contained only the classified key values, not the unclassified ones.Exporting jobs in Classification Importer → Browser Export tool included historical data containing both classified and unclassified keys.Since the Classification Importer section will be decomissioned in a near future we would need to have that functionnality integrated in the new Classification Set section. Also the classification Set only accepts a certain format for special characters (see table below). When exporting data from the Classification Importer, special characters are already modified by the accepted format. But if we extract the unclassified values from a DW extract or just by copying them from a workspace report we need to manually transform thos
Description - The "New" button on these widget does not bring user to the expected "New request" queue area. It is very confusing for a user that does not access Workfront regularly to train them to not click the "New" that is right in the center of their page under "My Requests". So I need to remove this widget from his homepage but I can't. Why is this feature important to you - My requestors rarely use Workfront and these buttons are confusing. Also these widgets are not removable for the "Request" or "Review" access types. Why have an editable homepage that we can't edit? How would you like the feature to work - Remove the "New" button or allow it to be directed to "New Requests" Current Behaviour -It adds a request onto an existing project
It would be great if cloning a campaign folder or sub folder was an option instead of having to clone the individual assets within the campaign folder separately.
Allow users to create a new draft or version of an existing campaign to make changes and push live when complete. This would allow us to update campaigns without having to pause them and risk records slipping through the cracks in the down time. With this feature users could plan and build out updates ahead of time and keep in draft until ready to publish rather than having to update the campaign real time.
Description - notifyMontors to be passed with more information on actual error and action name. Why is this feature important to you - We need to track action errors in production. How would you like the feature to work - I;d like actual error and action/element name also to be passed to notify Monitors function. We would then track this in adobe analytics itself of any errors that have occurred.Current Behaviour - Presently this function is passed just the rule and action but not the action display name. More in detail:e.g.present : logger.error(getRuleComponentErrorMessage(actionDisplayName, rule.name, e)); notifyMonitors('ruleActionFailed', { rule: rule, action: action }); to be modified to:logger.error(getRuleComponentErrorMessage(actionDisplayName, rule.name, e));notifyMonitors('ruleActionFailed', { rule: rule, action: action, actionDisplayName: actionDisplayName, error: e }); ThanksSamrat Dsouza
We have automatic user provisioning configured in Workfront. If a user has a name or email address updated a new user is created. If we don't catch this in time, the user will be on the new account so user activity/comments/assignments will be tracked there. It would be helpful to merge the two accounts with all user activity/comments/assignments.
Description - Reporting capabilities. Goal of this report is for resource to have a consolidated list of tasks from various projects where they can update their logged hours. Why is this feature important to you - Our campaign managers are managing multiple project (10+) at a given time. A report pulling in their tasks where they are able to update the logged hours in real time would help keep all projects they are managing and true time spent as accurate as possible. This would prevent the Campaign Managers from having to go into each project individually. How would you like the feature to work - Report to pull assigned tasks with ability to edit the logged hours on any tasks in progress or new on all projects based on filters set.Current Behavior - Task report does not allow you to log hours from the report. Hours report only pulls tasks with time already associated and not tasks that need to be started and logged.
Description - Ability to delegate work (task assignments and projects) from new Workfront work space page & have the ability to delegate to multiple team members during the same time frame depending on work typeWhy is this feature important to you - We need the ability to delegate work during PTO and leaves. We are trying to figure out the most efficient way to do this still via current UI design and options How would you like the feature to work - Current Behavior - Delegate work not available option on the new Workspace page
I'd like to be able to set up notification rules associated with when a library is submitted for approval, approved, and published. Launch admins would be responsible for setting up notification rules & settings.Notifications could be sent to an email group and/or to a Slack channel.
This is something that will help avoid redundancy and duplication in Design Studio.Let's assume I have several workspaces and similar programs that must exist in different workspaces. As of now, I've created many Global Emails as the number of workspaces, but if I could share these emails across them, I can remove redundancy and the possibility of oversights about amend and edits.
Please allow programs to be shared between workspaces. In a global deployment where you have content creators and content distributors in different workspaces, it would be very helpful in these environments to have a workspace to create a test programs and then have them shared among the workspaces where content is being delivered.
Description -When you go to the profile and select one profile and go to Events tab. We see events old events first, if we have bunch of events it is very difficult and time consuming to see the latest events. Why is this feature important to you - To save time when we want to see the profile events. How would you like the feature to work - we should have sorting feature on events and pagination as well .Current Behaviour -When you go to the profile and select one profile and go to Events tab. We see events old events first, if we have bunch of events it is very difficult and time consuming to see the latest events.
One of the biggest complaints from our PMs is that there is no easy way to ensure that users stop logging time to a task after it is "Completed". We will have situations were at the end of the month a person it needing to update their timesheet and they are entering hours beyond the date the task was closed. So it becomes a 'dumping ground' for hours. We have created exception reports to help the PMs monitor when someone is logging time to a Task beyond the Actual Completion Date, however, it's just extra overhead for them that takes time away from more important PM functions. They would really like it if they have an way to stop this from happening; they already have enough reports to monitor. There is one option that they can attempt to stop this, but it requires that they update the Sharing Option for each person assigned to the Task to un-check the "log time" option, which is also very time consuming depending on the number of Tasks that need to
Description - Allow non-SSO iOS users access to the Mobile app using username and passwordWhy is this feature important to you - So that Android and iOS users have a common method of connecting to WF through the app.How would you like the feature to work - When they try to log in, it would allow the to enter their username and password to connect.Current Behaviour - It currently ask for them to log in via a Microsoft account. If they do not have a Microsoft linked to their email, then they can't use the app. They would only be able to connect via a web browser. Thanks, Matt.
I have good experience on SharePoint and other CMS's, one thing I noticed when I compare AEM with others, the Recycle Bin is not available in AEM.If content authors accidentally delete any pages or assets, then it is difficult to get it back, sometimes they need to depend on developers to get it back and it is time consuming process, are there any plans to implement the same in future releases?
Description - When users add a new job, they'll often forget to set the duration from the default setting of 0. Resulting in the jobs not showing in the Traffic Manager's dashboard. Why is this feature important to you - Having the ability to set the duration of the job in setting to any duration (ex. 1h) will act as a fail safe for that problem. How would you like the feature to work - by giving the admins the ability to set default job durations in job settings. Current Behaviour - User adds a new job and forgets to set the job duration resulting in a job with 0 duration in the jobs list.
I would love to see the new form designer incorporate some better cues to show logic connections. The new form just has the D for display logic or S for skip logic (and filled in or not filled in based on end of connections); however, this does not solve for seeing which fields are connected to each other. Previously there was color-coding, which was sometimes hard to distinguish but was still very helpful. I would love to see some sort of boxes with colors and/or numbers to show which fields are connected so we don't have to attempt to click into several fields and scroll to additional settings at the bottom to find out what each field is connected to. We also could easily see before which fields were VERY connected (i.e. had several other fields connected to them, so we knew we needed to be extra careful). Now we have to click into each to find these. This is important because the new form builder will now be the only option. We have many large forms with a lot of log
There is no way to set an alert when records fail to sync to an SFDC campaign in a bulk manner or even create a report along the lines of ..... "Filled our form" -and- "not was added to SFDC campaign -- is ANY" And no way to in a Smart List to query the person log entry for: "Sync to SFDC campaign - Failed" Each lead has to be manually checked (or uploads monitored), and requires folks doing this on a regular and timely fashion. Would be great if I could have some kind of alert, or even a single Smart List that uses the 'is any' operator, for leads that were not added to an SFDC campaign in a reasonable time period. Thanks!
emails are unique acorss the systems whereas $$USER.name may not be. Also, since name may include umlauts/accents that variable is not ideal. I want to filter (report/view) based on the current user's email address because on our case the address is stored in custom field when we don't find the user; if the user later were added to WF I'd like to have a report to show those items where the custom field has their email address
We work very closely with our Data teams and use a lot of various API connections pushing and pulling data from Marketo. One of the annoying hurdles is that when an error occurs and I get told "there was an error in Program 3387", there's no way to search by Program ID.This would be insanely helpful instead of having to go through every program individually. Maybe there is a way currently?
Please add a LOG TIME button in the TASK DETAILS window. Workfront used to default to the UPDATES window, where I could quickly Log Time, but now the it defaults to the TASK DETAILS window. It would be nice to add the LOG TIME button to TASK DETAILS.
Description - Something that is in my opinion quite a waste of time is that with every save on a data element, rule or extension, it is closed and one has to reopen it. Why is this feature important to you - Efficiency, would save a lot of time when you are knee-deep in Launch and won't have to navigate back into the previous component. Works that way in every other desktop app How would you like the feature to work - Click "Save to library" without closing the element Current Behaviour - edit data element - Save to library - where was I?! - ... - start filtering until found - open again - edit - save - back to where was I
Description: Support option to include deactivated employees with allocations on the budgeted hours report (or maybe create a new report for this purpose) Why is this feature important to you:These allocations need to be moved to active employees for work continuity, but there is no way for admins to see what work needs to be replanned. How would you like the feature to work:Would like the option to include deactivated employees with allocations. Current Behaviour:The current budgeted hours report automatically excludes deactivated employees, even if those employees had allocations at the time they were deactivated.
By selecting multiple projects and clicking "Edit", we should have the option to add a project template to all the projects selected.Use case: we have many projects that all need one task added to them. Instead of adding the task to each project one by one, we want to create a template with the one task and attach this template to all projects in buik.
My group has several tasks that occurs annually to which I would prefer setting-up as recurring task on an annual basis. This feature would eliminate unnecessary time spend on creating individual task for each action item each year. Is there an option for annual frequency?
