Campaign Classic v7 & Campaign v8

Hi Experts, There is a counter which is used as part of an expression when creating new seeds.    I am trying to get the seed counter value to no avail. var seedKey = 'SDM'+CounterValue('nmsSeedMember'); logInfo(seedKey);

Hi I want to unzip a zipped file in data loading activity.I checked pre-process the file option and tried various commands but the data load activity is giving error every time. Following are the commands I have tried:gunzip -c <%=vars.filename%>gunzip <%=vars.filename%>gzip -d <%=vars.filename%>gzip -S <%=vars.filename%>zip -d <%=vars.filename%>etc. What would be the correct command to unzip the file first and then load it?

All,  I have a situation that requires me to create an alert when a workflow completes successfully. The workflow runs daily and contains 13 deliveries (based on segmentation in the workflow); not all will send. I tried putting all the delivery transitions into and And-Join and then straight to an Alert Activity, but realized that if no records are found during segmentation for a delivery, then I have them going straight to an END activity.  Is there a way to send an email that when the workflow is complete for the day, I can send an email to Assignee's letting them know the workflow ran successfully for the day? Or, do I have to set up an alert for each Delivery (Success) and End (No Records Available)? I would like it to work similar to how the Error alert works - meaning when a workflow fails, a group I assigned is notified.  Please advise.

Hi All, The Distribution of Values button used for fields with a defined LOV while building a Query activity has regularly taking more than a couple minutes to load the LOV or (more often) gets stuck in a hung state (loading list). If the user doesn't click Cancel then this results in an error.The Targeting dimension and Filtering dimension are different schemas. Is it because of that, this loading time is more? The issue is coming in Production environment and the Distribution of Values is loading within 20 seconds in Stage environment. Could someone please help us figure out the issue and resolve it. Thanks.

Hi, Context: "Cost allocation and charge back mechanism" on using no of events or no of Lan id's.Req: Generate a fixed-file length format file and transfer via SFTP.Fixed-length file: Fixed-length format files use ordinal positions, which are offsets to identify the location of fields in the record.  Following is a sample data record:20011228YF2001122814313425 Forest St Marlborough MA017525083828200600 The record is defined by the following column layout:Columns 1 - 8: Date format YYYYMMDD. Hi Experts,  My SQL insert syntax is resulting in a not null constraint issue. PGS-220000 PostgreSQL error: ERROR: null value in column "igoal03" violates not-null constraintDETAIL: Failing row contains (1, 2, null, null, null, null, null, null, null, null, null, null, null, null, null, null, 3, 0, 100, null, null, null, 0, null, 5, 4, null, null).WDB-200001 SQL statement 'INSERT INTO SchGoals (iGoal01,iGoal02,iGoal17,iPeople,iInclusion,iHealthWellness) VALUES (1,2,3,100,4,5)' could not be executed. Here is my JS Code triggering the above var sqlSyntax = "INSERT INTO SchGoals ("+stringColumns+") VALUES ("+stringValues+")";sqlExec(sqlSyntax); the SQL command being executed is literally INSERT INTO SchGoals (iGoal01,iGoal02,iGoal17,iPeople,iInclusion,iHealthWellness) VALUES (1,2,3,100,4,5)  table structure is as following, I've tried removing the ;sqlDefault="Null"to no avail, same error.   <element autopk="true" label=

The file name has a prefix of tmp.  I need to remove the prefix from the name.  I was trying to use the split and join method to break up the name and rejoin it again with out the tmp.  But I'm not sure these commands work in Adobe.  Below is the code I have written so far.  What am I doing wrong? logInfo(vars.filename); vars.nameOnly = vars.filename.rmdir();vars.f1 = vars.nameOnly.split("_");vars.f2 = f1.shift();vars.finalName = f2.join("_"); logInfo(vars.finalName); vars.cmd = path + vars.finalName; execCommand(cmd);

Hello guys! I would like to know if it is possible to update data from recipients if they fill an Adobe Campaign generated form. This is because I would like to send to my profiles an email with a link to a form, so they could update their information, and I'd like that information to be updated automatically on a List in Adobe Campaign. I would appreciate your help in order to plan some campaigns. Thank you very much in advance!

Is there any way to link SMS reply to respective delivery if we are sending multiple deliveries to same customer within short period of time like transaction message?

We've been implementing some significant changes to the volume of data that we bring into Adobe Campaign and how long we keep and purge both transactional and operational data. As a result, we've purged over 100GB of data from our Adobe hosted, Postgres Adobe Campaign Classic database.While this has been great for stability and performance, we're still taking up a significant amount of physical storage due to the way Postgres manages physical disk allocation.Adobe has recommended a "full DB vacuum", in order to reclaim the space, but I'm pretty worried about the amount of downtime this will require to our live service.Does anyone have any experience of running a "full DB vacuum" in a live environment? Any thoughts or feedback that you could share? Are there genuine benefits that even make this worthwhile?We're on v7 9128, hosted in Adobe AWS, if that helps at all.Thank you!

While executing a newly created workflow, it throws error as attached.While executing an existing workflow, it does not execute and show no action and no logs are generated.

Hi Folks, We have a remarketing campaign use case which we are trying to achieve using adobe analytics and adobe campaign classic. Use case in this wayVisitor comes on the website, add some products to a cart and drops off from the website. This visit level data will flow into the adobe campaign using adobe analytics pipeline triggers, and further, it will be processed by the scripts written in the adobe campaign, and it will be stored into schemas. Once we have these data in a schema, we have to shoot one remarketing campaign to the visitor using the message center. Need help in understanding, how we can trigger the campaign using the message center in this scenario? Any documentation or any suggestions is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Regards,Nitesh Anwani

In the AB test, if one of them has no action at all, Subsequent all judgment will be wrong. Ex.)Dlivery A: One person does not openDlivery B: One person opens After that , all winner is "Dlivery A".Also, you cannot control the same rate."Dlivery A" is always the winner... It is a number of targets is small, It may not be realistic.But in the unlikely event that it happens, The delivery record of campaign dushboard must be deleted. Is there any countermeasure?Thank you.

I am trying to access exportToAAM activitiy data inside a javascript block, but I am unable to do so. Here is my code:var groupQuery = "SELECT iWorkflowId FROM XtkWorkflow"; var groupsXML = sqlSelect( "collection,iWorkflowId:int", groupQuery ); for each(var group in groupsXML.collection){ var wkf = NLWS.xtkWorkflow.get(group.iWorkflowId); logInfo(wkf.activities.exportToAAM.label); logInfo(wkf.activities.exportToAAM[0].label); } I have also tried to query mData and read it as an DOMDocument, but didn't work either. I feel like activities/exportToAAM is not being returned in the XML.

All,  I have thousands of records in a 'Pending' state (they will eventually fail) due to a bad image path. I've since corrected the issue so new submissions should process.  What I need to know, for the records that are 'Pending' - how can I get them to send through the new template? Is there a workflow or SOAPUI work-around where I can gather all the records, along with their CTX, and send them through?  Please advise.

Hello. I'm beginner.The following AB test use case script does not assume the same percentage of cases. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/campaign-classic/using/sending-messages/a-b-testing/use-case/a-b-testing-uc-script.html?lang=en Is there a way to control it in the the same percentage of cases?For example, if the same percentage of cases, deliver A as the winner.Thanks.

Interested to hear from anyone who has set up and is using the Netsize / Link Mobility SMS connector with Adobe Campaign Classic v7.We have some test credentials and have set up the External Account as instructed, but running a delivery we get: MTA-#ID# Error in delivery part #ID#: No call method is defined in the external account 'Link Mobility SMS Test Account' {id=#ID#) We're almost certain that there's something missing from the "Connector" configuration ("Activation Mode" etc), as we don't have anything that we can specify for "Access URL" or "JavaScript". We haven't been given any config to apply here, and there's nothing obvious that we've tried that works.I'd love to hear from anyone who's successfully set this up and is using it.Thanks!

Hello Team,We have a requirement to restrict modifications to the Delivery Approval Flags within the Delivery Properties -> Approvals tab.Scenario: We will be creating a delivery template with few of the Approval Flags (let's say content and Target) checked by default. When a user (assume an analyst with lesser privileges) tries to create a delivery from this template, he still have rights to uncheck these approvals while configuring, which we want to restrict them from doing so. I understand we need to handle at form - container level. But wanted to check how effectively it can be done and implications of doing this. Any ideas or suggestions?Regards,Sri Bhargav

My technical questionI want to create an Adobe stream to do a campaign100 000 individuals at the beginning, I select at random 10 000 individuals et on them I do an AB test, 5 000 receive the message A et the other 5 000 the message BThe message B obtains the best click rateSo I decide to concentrate my campaign on this messageI take the target of the 95 000 which stay and I decide to send to them the B message but I select at random 5 000 of them as a control group who will not receive anything.I want to do that in the same Adobe streamIt is possible ? If yes how to do it ?I know how to do an AB testI know how to build a control groupBut for the moment in two different stream, how to do it in the same streamThanks for your responseThierry

Pleas tell me adobe campaign integration with AWS , I WENT THROUGH DOCUMENTATION BUT DIDNT understand,,please explain me the whole process step by step

How can I add an enumeration to the existing state field in the Delivery table. In a similar way how can I change the length of an existing field in the recipient(profile) table.  E.G. change length of first name from 30 to 50 characters?

How does one add line breaks to an android push in campaign classic? yes, we have NotificationCompat.BigTextStyle() coded in the app which allows the message to expnd bu it 1 single line and we would hope to add line breaks.We tried appending var body = delivery.content.androidMessage.source;body = body.replace(/\n/g, '\n').replace(/\n\r/g, '\n').replace(/\r/g, '\n'); and a few other verions but no luck.In comparison ACS(standard) you can add line breaks.

Is it possible that records on the broadlog table that are in a pending status b/c you wish to confirm the delivery before sending can have their broadlog ids change once they are approved and the status is changed to sent?  I am seeing some instances where broadlog ids for records that are pending are getting changed to new broadlog ids if the user updates the wave definition in the delivery properties and hits 'Save' and then clicks the 'Confirm Delivery' button to enable the records to be delivered.

We have several enum fields (dropdown to choose from) in several tables having value as string data type. We are wanting to make them numeric for performance reasons. What's the best way to identify all such enum fields?
