I'm trying to come up with a good way to automate the creation of status (smart) campaigns that we use repeatedly for a variety of programs in our multiple workspaces. These include clicked, opened, bounced, invalid, and unsubscribed. I set up a folder in the default workspace, and within that is a "test program" that contains these 5 smart campaigns that are not hooked up to any emails or programs...they're just empty fields waiting to be assigned something. I finally got to the point where I could drag a clone of this test program into another workspace. Hooray! But now, I need to move those cloned smart campaigns out of the test program into the program I intended for them to be used in. I can't seem to clone them into my destination program, and dragging them doesn't work. How can I accomplish this?

Initially I want to show 4 fields then instead of submit button I want Next button which will take the person in the form with remaining fields and then he/she have to submit the form and lead will be created in marketo?My understanding is:1. We can show 4 fields in the page load event and hide the remaining one and submit button2. After 4 fields we can add a rich text to make "NEXT" button3. In the "Next Button" click event we can display remaining fields with submit button.Has anyone build this solution or kind of. Hi there, we have been working on a few Marketo emails lately and noticed that the csv file count is different than the person count when uploaded into Marketo. I understand that discrepancy can be due to duplicate email addresses in the csv file, and that Marketo would ignore these in the upload. But any other reasons that could account for this? Thanks. 

Hi Community, Our marketing team would like to be able to get the name of an email (not the Email ID) so that we can add it to the token shown below so it would look like this: utm_source=marketo&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=36 CUG Staff Picks 10.29.24   Is there a way that the email name can be pulled via API and then populate a lead token that can be used within the Google UTM token we created? Thank you,LK

Hello I am using the bulk API to export data with Python. I could so far export Leads and Activities fine, but i'm struggling to export all Programs or all Campaigns at once, which endpoint should I use?For Leads i used : https://{munchkin_id}.mktorest.com/bulk/v1/leads/export/create.json For Activities i used https://{munchkin_id}.mktorest.com/bulk/v1/activities/export/create.json i tried with the following for programs and campaigns https://{munchkin_id}.mktorest.com/bulk/v1/programs/export/create.json and https://{munchkin_id}.mktorest.com/rest/v1/programs/export/create.json   but it didn't work. any idea?   Also, i would like to find all available fields for a given endpoint and couldn't find a clear table where this is summarized.  I did check the API Documentation but I could not find a summary of what one can find and where.      Thanks for your support! The removal of Reflection-based features from Marketo’s Velocity environment in June 2019 was a disappointment — however inevitable — to those of us who push email scripting to the limit.   Requirements like encoding, hashing, encryption, flexible rounding and randomization, XPath queries, and advanced filters/sorts on Custom Objects could no longer be met with Marketo alone. (Webhooks can fulfill a subset of those needs, but with nowhere near the performance and simplicity of Velocity.)   At the prodding of Community user @TM, I set out to see if Base64 encoding, one of the Java methods that used to be callable from Velocity, could be written with “pure” Velocity and public Java methods, without relying on the Reflection API.   I was indeed able to do it... though unlike most of my Velocity work, this one wouldn’t File Under Fun!   You can call the #userlandBase64_v3 macro below in 4 ways:   #1: Basic usage #userlandBase64_v3("some string")‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

We are using Marketo Engage. How do I change the label of a Salesforce custom object?

Our marketing operations team is currently in the process of executing our annual archiving process. So far it seems to be a VERY slow grind - we have hundreds of smart campaigns that need to be turned off and archived. I'm currently going through each program and individually shutting off each triggered smart campaign. These campaigns are being used to track standard email engagement - opens, clicks, unsubs..   Is there a more efficient way to bulk turn these off?  Thanks in advance 🙂 

I need to update some meta information in an email (not attached to a marketo template, just an email asset), but the head isn't an editable area and dynamic content prevents me from viewing the code via 'Replace HTML' (error: Code editing is not available for emails with dynamic content). Is there another way I can access the email head to update the information, or do I have to remove the dynamic content, then re-add it? Thanks!

Hi Marketo Community, I’m currently working on a webhook integration in Marketo and am facing issues with passing tokens within the JSON payload, specifically due to quotation marks. The integration requires sending the User ID as part of the JSON request to an external API. Here’s an example of the JSON payload I’m trying to use:    { "id": { "Userid": "{{lead.User ID:default=edit me}}" } }    When trying to pass the token {{lead.User ID}} in JSON, it needs to be enclosed in quotes (e.g., "Userid": "{{lead.User ID}}"). However, this causes JSON errors if the quotation marks aren’t handled properly, resulting in malformed JSON. I have tried the following:Using json=escape: "Userid": "{{lead.User ID:json=escape}}"Concatenating with an empty string to force string output: "{{lead.User ID}}{{lead.Empty String}}"Adding escaped quotes  "\"{{lead.User ID}}\""Using Velocity Script Tokens to try and build the JS

Our instances utilizes the ON24 integration and the {{member.webinar url}} token for webinar events. I want to send a ICS calendar email directly to the members that registered. Has anyone done this successfully? For example, the Marketo MUG events send a calendar event upon registration. How can I program this so that the event contains the event info and the {{member.webinar url}} for joining the event?

Hello,We're working with a third-party vendor to utilize Marketo to send notification emails based off events triggered within the third-party.According to them, they utilize webhooks (as opposed to Rest API) and will push out a payload based on specific events occurring. Now if I am understanding Marketo's Webhook functionality, Marketo typically takes an event "call" and wants to go fetch that data. If the third-party platform already pushes out that data - what is the best way to make this work?Assuming maybe something like having the third-party do the event push to some location and then have the Marketo webhook fetch the data? Like a middleman situation?Apologies if this is super basic - we typically use Rest API so this is the first potential webhook request.

So I'm trying to test a chat dialog where I am using conditional branching to push people who don't have certain data on their record down another path. The issue that I'm running into is that when I try to preview the my dialog it always sends me down the primary path and I can't seem to test/preview using the alternative branch. Has anyone else run into this issue?

Hi all, I'll go straight to the point. All of our SFDC fields for Leads, Contacts and Accounts are synced to Marketo and obviously we're not using all of them for our marketing campaigns. The SDFC Marketo user has Admin rights and has visibility to all objects and fields in SFDC.Ideally we would only want to sync down the fields we find useful. Is there a way to whenever a field is created in SFDC, it is by default not visible to the SFDC admin?What would be the best practice to prevent all that unwanted inflow of future fields created in SFDC? Thanks.

Hello, I would like to pull records that didn’t receive emails due to reaching their daily or weekly communication limits. While I can identify records that hit these limits, I’m unable to specifically pull those who missed emails for this reason, regardless of the email sent. Thanks!
