Hi All,We have a situation where we need to create a lead in instance B based on the form fill out of instance A. The problem here is we have different pod urls for instance A (//app-sj25.marketo.com) and B (//app-sjf.marketo.com).Is it possible to create leads in instance B based on the form fill out of instance A?Thanks.

I have created an email template while in preview email template looks perfectly fine, but while I am sending sample email it doesn't appear correctly all the images, format and sections are miss aligned. Sections have changed their places. Please help me with what possibly went wrong!! 

Hi!    @dave_roberts - you were so helpful with my last question! If you have a spare minute, do you mind taking a look at this question, please? Thank you!   I am in the process of building out a marketo form and landing page - I went ahead and dropped the form onto the marketo LP and everything looks correct until I preview the LP.  When I am previewing, it is showing the field labels below the the blank field box where people will submit their answers.  I have tried two different CSS codes and have also tried altering the label settings in the form builder to no avail.  Has anyone had this happen by chance and if so, would love to hear how you resolved!   The form CSS I am using is:     .mktoForm, .mktoForm .mktoFieldWrap, .mktoForm .mktoHtmlText, .mktoForm input, .mktoLogicalField .mktoCheckboxList {width:100% !important;} @media only screen and (min-width:480px) { .mktoFormCol:first-child:nth-last-child(2), .mktoFormCol:first-child

To add comments, -- is what I use in Oracle and ; is what I use in Unica.   Does Marketo have the option to add a comment within the filters? For example, if I select the Email Address filter within the Smart List of a campaign, I want to add a comment to explain a section.   --people who signed up for class 1 aaa@test.com bbb@test.com --people who signed up for class 2 ccc@test.com ddd@test.com --provided by phone eee@test.com   Is that doable? Looking for something similar to Unica where we can comment within the filter.

is there a way to update color palettes in MKTO and replace them with your own brand colors when creating LP/Email templates?

I am going to use a global webinar form template and a marketo landing page to collect registrations. However, we run three sessions of the same webinar based on the region and we would like the registrants to choose the session accordingly. I would like this value to be transfered into the form field so that the options get updated and each time there's a webinar, the options are automatically updated than manually changing it in the form. Recently, Salesforce acquired Tableau, and among several improvements, Tableau now has free, pre-built dashboards for Marketo for email performance and campaign performance. Yesterday, I deployed a campaign through Marketo. Today, I wanted to send an email to all of the users who clicked on a link in that email. In building the list, I selected anyone who opened yesterday's email, with my thinking being that in order to have clicked a link, they would have had to have opened the email. However, I'm wondering if I'm not necessarily getting the users who clicked a link. In building a list of users who clicked a link in yesterday's email but were not sent today's email, I get quite a few contacts.    Does anyone have thoughts on this? Should there be a significant disparity in contacts who opened an email vs contacts who clicked an email? I realize they won't necessarily be one to one, but I wouldn't have expected to see a significant difference.

Wondering if anyone has any insight...we're using TryInteract Quiz and want to collect leads from this quiz and have them import into Marketo. I've integrated Interact with Zapier and then Zapier with Makrketo. Followed all the steps outlined on the documentation from Zapier, Interact and Marketo and yet, I keep getting this error when I test the zap or fill out the quiz:   The app returned `{"message":"{\"requestId\":\"1be1#182a71815c2\",\"success\":false,\"errors\":[{\"code\":\"609\",\"message\":\"Invalid value 'tammy.lp.allen@gmail.com'\"}]}"} What happened: Executing creates.add_lead_to_list.operation.perform with bundl Both Zapier and Interact Support tell me this is an issue with Marketo but Marketo support is telling me it's not...can anyone crack this? I come from using SF and Pardot so Marketo alludes me a little bit.   Tammy

Is there a way to send a Lead ID on a webhook, so that a third party retrieves the lead info through Marketo's API?

I have an Engagement Program that needs to be cloned and updated for a new 1-year period. This process needs to be duplicated each business year as we provide health insurance and this Retention program is built to send reminder email communications beginning at 105 days prior to renewal date and every 15 days (105, 90, 75, 60, 45 & 30) until the member reaches their renewal date.   I would like to now "Hold Out" 20% of all members and only send 80% of our members through this Retention nurture.   Goal: Randomly exclude 20% of qualifying records from receiving emails within this specific Engagement Program.   Purpose: To measure the effectiveness of our emails by comparing the 80% of qualified records that received the nurture versus the 20% that did not.   Will what I have built below utilizing "Random Sample" work to achieve this and/or what is the best way I should solve for this?    Thanks in advance!   Best, Ronn  

I cant seem to find much on forward to a friend in terms of data privacy.  Seems you cant store/process someones data without their consent but thats exactly what F2F does.   Seems mailchimp can forward to a friend without storing any data! has this feature just been abandoned.  My last test on it seems to still be that awful form that you cant do much with.   Anyone got a great way round this? or have I misunderstood how it works or the legal issues I think it has? Does anyone use forward to a friend or any other method?   thanks

Hi community, I know this has been discussed before and maybe there are new workarounds for this.   I need to A/B test a whole email for a triggered campaign. So, someone fills out a form and receives version A, then another one fills out a form and receives version B.   Is there a way to implement this like a round-robin approach or any other workaround?   Thanks, Raul

We have our Facebook API integrated and auto-tagging is enabled, but there are no ads showing in Bizible.  It is pulling in the campaigns and the correct number of ad sets, but showing 0 ads for each campaign. I can't figure out why.  We have several active ads in each campaign as well and the format is either single image or carousel.

Hello there, I'm trying to create custom fields (just simple strings, not synched with SFDC), to collect different purposes on Marketo, as I always done. Now I have a set of 6 custom fields called "Free field 1", "Free field 2", etc. Two examples: Funny problem: in a form editor, completely blank and new, I can add ALL my custom fields. BUT, and here is the problem, in an already existing form, I can't see some of the additional custom fields that I've created right now. Why? Where are they?   Just for a better explanation: no fields count limitation, I can add more and more fields as I need. And no, I didn't already add them, they didn't exist before now. And yes, there are other custom fields. It seems that I can't add more custom fields named "Free field". Is it possible?

Our instance of Marketo uses an account number as a unique identifier instead of email address because multiple accounts can use the same email address.    The challenge is when we send them certain types of emails (birthday seems to be the biggest one). I can limit each person to only be able to run through the campaign once per year... the problem pops up when a member has multiple accounts. Marketo is treating individuals with three account numbers as three separate individuals (which is how the system is set up), but I don't want them to receive three birthday emails.   I was thinking it may be possible to create a smart list of duplicates to use as a suppression list, but how do I ensure they get at least one copy?    Has anyone else had something like this come up? Is there a solution?

hi all, we have three instances of marketo (test, dev & live), don't ask!   we need to set each of these instances to always be on the correct time in the UK. Is this possible please?   our customer base is only in the uk, so hopefully wont be complex.   I have read in the prod docs that recipient time is set based on their location, but as all of our customers will be on same time zone, I'm not sure we'll need this feature (our customers are being synced by API with this data however).   any help is much appreciated!   thanks, Mike    

Hi there,  With the addition of New Experience for Emails, the sending of samples is slightly different, and one convenient feature that we liked to use is seemingly gone. We use the "Segment" field to send samples based on the segmentation., which is not available anymore. I've tried to use email addresses that I think might be using the language segment I want to use, but it might not be the best practice. Are there plans to bring that feature into the new experience? Or anyone knows of a way to make this easier without switching back to the old experience. I know it's a disadvantage for my team, and they would use the old experience instead.    BEFORE    AFTER

I prepare Lead scoring in Marketo and take issueMarketo do not track Sales Email     I'm newbie in Marketo that is why i try to explain what i do: - create new Lead in SFDC (country = Germany and sync it with Marketo) - check that Lead appear in Marketo - create new email in SFDC related for that Lead -> add some links for testing simple link like https://google.com and send email to Lead- login in email box - open that email and click link from that email - SFDC show me that email was opened  - but in Marketo I see that my SmartCampaign never run - result is empty [trigger with MarketoEmail - open/click links work well with that Lead]I checked my Marketo->SFDC sync settings (Email Opened and Clicked link in email are present there)   Under Lead in Marketo I see that send email log (as SFDC Activity) was sync from SFDC to Marketo But not Opened Email activity or Clicked Link Email activity in Activity Log   

I'm hoping I can use velocity to populate a link instead of using traditional segmentation or creating multiple versions of emails.   I have a link that I need to show, but the link is going to be reliant on the value in a certain field in the lead record.   The value I am using to populate the field is ${lead.creditCardPromoAmount}   What I need it to do is     If $lead.creditCardPromoAmount = 15,000 then display this unique url elseIf $lead.creditCardPromoAmount = 7,500 then display this unique url elseIf $lead.creditCardPromoAmount = 5,000 then display this unique url elseIf $lead.creditCardPromoAmount = 2,500 then display this unique url     Those are the only possible values that members of this program will have.  

Hello, I'm having some trouble cracking this one...we have this form with progressive profiling enabled but I can't seem to move the required checkbox field to the bottom of the form...this is what it looks like now go.ecompliance.com/testing-progressive-profiling.html Where do I have to add custom CSS? at form level, template level, landing page level?   Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated!
