Adobe Marketo Engage

Hi all, I've been running into issues with emails built in the new editor with my proof not appearing how it actually looks once I share it out for approval. At my company we send email proofs for approval via email, which means I send a proof to myself, download it, then attach it as an .eml file to a new email and CC'ing everyone that needs to approve. Once I've downloaded the email and sent it out as an attachment for approval, I've discovered that it often breaks my margins, adds spacing, and/or misaligns things than what it actually looks like in the proof/sample that I originally received straight from Marketo. Below I've attached images of the actual sample sent from Marketo compared to the .eml file once it was downloaded and previewed for approval.  Is anyone else running into similar issues or have a possible solution? Or is this just a problem with the new email designer being a work in progress?

One of my clients has used Zoom webinars integrated with Marketo for at least 2 years - running at least monthly webinars as of recently. All the sudden from Marketo, when we try to connect the webinar program to the event on the Zoom webinars platform - it doesn't see any webinars scheduled. There are no errors in the Zoom LaunchPoint app. When we try re-verifying the LaunchPoint app we get taken in circles because it leads to the the "old" Marketo login page and clicking and using  login with Adobe doesn't help. We  have a ticket logged with Zoom support which isn't getting us anywhere.  Given that we were just forced to make the switch to the new login/user management process this month and tried to set up the first 2024 webinar program after that, I find the timing suspicious - even though it's not supposed to affect API-only users. Is anyone else having this issue? Hello Team,Here is a use case.There is a trigger campaign in Marketo which deletes the confidential data (the record which is selected as confidential in Salesforce end). The flow set is set as such it deletes from Marketo database but not in CRM.Can we also control the deleted records to be kept hidden in Salesforce? If yes, should it be done in Salesforce admin settings?Thoughts please?Thanks in Advance,Gayathiry

Hello Everyone, We're trying to prevent specified new leads in SFDC from syncing to Marketo until they are converted into active accounts. I understand you can create a custom sync filter to do this, but was wondering:Can this be done combining logic from 2 different fields? Ex:If unregistered_lead_c = True AND Account Status = Not Active, do not sync with MarketoIf unregistered_lead_c = True AND Account Status = Active, sync with MarketoCan the logic to sync/not sync be based off of a specified status, or does it have to be a boolean field?

We are currently testing the new email editor, and have run into multiple issues, but the latest is that I cannot seem to send tests at all. I have tried multiple created emails, different people to send to, none of them ever arrive. Not in spam, inbox, anywhere. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I seem to have consistent issues with the new editor, including when I did get tests, the emails did not look at all like what we created.

Due to Marketo database limits, we need to purge inactive people in Marketo (we will not purge in Salesforce). Because Marketo deletions do not sync to Salesforce, after a purge when the same person re-enters Marketo and is recreated—the native sync creates a new Salesforce Lead instead of linking to the existing record. This is causing a lot of duplicates in SFDC. Does Marketo have the capability to correlate to an existing Salesforce record and only create a new Lead if one doesn’t already exist? Is this a common issue other companies face, and how do you handle it?

 We are migrating from one Marketo instance to another.  At this point, we have migrated all of our marketing activities plus assets, lists and reports into our new instance sandbox.  We have also synced Salesforce QA to our Marketo sandbox.  Our next step is to test everything in our Marketo sandbox environment. Does anyone have best practices for loading data into our Marketo sandbox or salesforce QA environment prior to testing all of our activities? Thanks in advance!

We have nurture email campaigns that we drop batches of data in to and, whilst we have an internal calendar of when campaign emails are scheduled to send, our sales team were asking if they can get a copy of the email or an alert that an email has gone. Issue we have is we only allow someone to run through a campaign once to prevent us re-contacting someone so can't just drop their email in the list, but when I tried sending an alert after the 'send email' flow step it obviously sends an alert for every contact that was dropped in, so they potentially get hundreds of alerts each time. Is there a way to limit it so it only sends one alert or that we can include their email in each run without allowing other contacts through more than once?

HelloCan anyone with experience of SMS execution in Marketo help me please.We have had SMS capability built into our Marketo.This is the flow:Call webhook: Get 0Auth Token ( this gives the data to the third party between Marketo and the SMS sending platform)Wait 5 secondsCall webhook:  send SMSWe are having issues with the 0auth token running out before the SMS’s can send. The 0auth token only stays open for 900 seconds.But how many SMSs that are sent each time varies, I can see this is sometimes due to other processing happening in Marketo as it looks like webhooks are the lowest priority.Is this expected behavior? We have a considerable backlog in the Campaign Queue. Any advice on how to investigate this would be greatly appreciated.Just to note, per support recommendations, already working to optimize our instance and collaborating with the Salesforce team to look into the issue.
