Adobe Journey Optimizer

Dear Community I would like to ask for the best recommendations using AJO for my client requirement. So in AEP, I created two schema, Individual Profile Class, and ExperienceEvent Class. What I want to achieve is creating an Audience in AEP, then using AJO to send ExperienceEvents field to Kafka. The limitation here is that the client only has Prime License.  Currently, my AJO journey logic is attached below. During the wait activity, I configured to be 120s. This causes the Journey to work as it should be. However, I need the latency to be lower. When the Wait activity is changed to 60s, the Journey did not work. My Audience is triggered using ExperienceEvent data. However, when an ExperienceEvent is being ingested, there are some delays until the associated profile is being included in the Audience Membership. My question is that what would be the shortest wait time I could configure to ensure that the associated profile is included in the Audience as soon as

If I delete an audience used for a one-time batch send, besides it missing from the campaign/journey, will it have any downstream effect when it comes to reporting, tracking logs or message logs? I believe I know the answer, but want to confirm.

What I want to achieve is creating an Audience in AEP, then using AJO to send ExperienceEvents field to Kafka. The limitation here is that the client only has Prime License.  I understand that to send data to Kafka from AJO is through using Custom Action with the appropriate Payload. Currently, I have created and Audience, which is then ready to be used, then creating a Unitary Event. I create a Unitary Event because this allows me to select ExperienceEvent fields to map with the Custom Action. In test mode (Only has Unitary Event and Custom Action in the Canvas) I was able to get the notification that the test data is successfully sent and was able to see the data in the notification (it was sent to my phone). However, after publishing it, I could not get the Journey to work, sometimes

Its written in Profile extension documentation for Mobile SDK that these attributes are stored client-side. Might these be used by AJO ?https://developer.adobe.com/client-sdks/home/base/profile/api-reference/#updateuserattributes

HI All,I was able to render emoji's in the email using unicode or direct copy paste. But when checking on rendering for different clients. Most of the clients support and I can see the emoji's but few like outlook on specific versions were only rendering gray scale versions of emoji's.Is there a way to render them with colors or since that is out of AJO scope and outlook is the one finally deciding it, It will not render.AI response -Outlook on Windows (Classic): Emojis in subject lines are rendered in grayscale. This is a known limitation. Even if you insert a colorful emoji, it will appear black-and-white in the subject line on WindowsThanks

How do we manage opt-out using AJO (not external opt-out) when there are multiple brands ? The one-click optout or optout using landing page automatically updates the global opt-out - consents.marketing.email.val which will opts out the user from all communication(irrespective of brands). How can we override this to optout out of specific brands ?

Is it something like that possible to sent to email address which is not marked as identity?

Its not possible to change email address in the event journey as I see... Is that right?

Marketers Need Enriched Data to Personalize Journeys Marketers today aren’t just sending emails—they’re building personalized customer moments. Think about it: A recipe card or setup guide landing right after a purchase, tailored to the exact product in the “Buy” event. A coupon nudging new homeowners or parents to spend more in categories like Garden, Furniture, or Kids. An abandoned cart reminder that doesn’t just say “come back,” but shows the actual items left behind—complete with name, price, and image. For these communications to feel personal and relevant, the content must be fueled by the right data at the right time. Journey authors need reliable, real-time access to product catalogs, instructional content, and transaction details—not just what’s stored in a customer profile. Why Profile-Based Lookups Became an Anti-Pattern Embedding large datasets directly inside customer profiles may seem convenient—but it quickly becomes a scaling bottleneck. Profiles are par

Quick question regarding Wait activity. I asked the AI Assistant but got somewhat conflicting answers. When there is a 3 day Wait activity after an In-app Message action, does the 3 day wait start immediately when the visitor reaches the In-app Message Action step of the Journey or does the wait time only start after the visitor actually triggers the In-app message to be seen? In the example attached, if a visitor get’s to the In-app message activity step of the Journey but never triggers the message, will the Journey end for that profile after 3 days if the visitor never meets the trigger conditions? If the Wait activity is removed altogether, does the Journey end immediately after the visitor reaches the In-app message step or only after triggering the in-app message to display? My assumption here is that the 3-day Wait timer starts upon reaching the In-app message activity step in the Journey and gives the visitor 3 days to trigger the message before the Journey ends. If so

Hi, could enabling the Create New Profiles option explain some of the delays in email sending? I’m currently experiencing delays when sending transactional emails with this setting turned on.

Could you please give an example for Streaming Audience /Batch Audience/Edge Audience how are they categorized while selecting under Audience section of AJO, what are the parameters that are considered to segregate the audience into 3 different types?

Hello, I am trying to use the AI Model method for Ranking my offers in AJO. However, as an OOO functionality it only considers Conversions and Impressions. But we want to also track custom events like No Thanks etc. Below link suggests that we can track Custom Events, but there is no clear way mentioned.Configure events capture | Adobe Experience Platform Looking for some guidance and help on how to track the Custom Events of the client.

Hi, I'm trying to follow up a specific click in email template. I use a reaction node followed by condition node, but in this last, no way to resolve the specific click using this formule "The label of the collection timeSeriesEvents at position 0 is equal to 'Voglio essere ricontattato'" can you help me?

We are using API triggered campaigns for one of our requirements. We have enabled the checkbox for creating new profiles as mentioned in experience league documentations for handling profiles that do not exist in our customer base.We came across a documentation where it is mentioned as "This option is provided for very small volume profile creation in a large volume transactional sending use case, with bulk of profiles already existing in platform" - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/campaigns/api-triggered-campaigns... 1) Are there any implications if we try to trigger or create more number of new profiles than expected as mentioned in the documentation? 2) Will it affect the overall licensing, if we try to ingest more number of new profiles than recommended? 3) What qualifies as a "very small volume" profile creation in this context? Are we talking about a specific number or percentage of total profiles? 4) Are there any perfo

Hi is there a way to export the data from a campaign, specifically the namespace id of the profiles and the campaign name, date, etc ? Thinking of sending a feed to a CRM system with the results of the send via customer so we can update records there thanksMarc

Does Mobile SDK automatically collects such as data? Does it need to be send back to SDK using this method:https://developer.adobe.com/client-sdks/edge/adobe-journey-optimizer-decisioning/#single-offer-interactions-events-tracking ?

How to define/personalize an if else condition for AJO API Trigger Campaigns email templates for {{context.make}} for below pattern<% if((make!='a') && (make!='b') && (make!='c') && (make!='d')){%>"a" </a><%} else if((make=='a') && (model=='b')){%>"b"  </a><%} else {%>  "c"</a>  <%}%>

We are assessing AJO currently, and have come across this limit. Would appreciate if you could share valuable insights if you had experience such case where client reached this limit, and had to do workaround.   General journey guardrailsThe number of activities in a journey is limited to 50. The number of activities is displayed on the upper left section of the journey canvas. The number of live journeys in one organization is limited to 100 per sandbox. When this limit is reached, you can no longer publish a new journey.https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journeys/using/starting-with-journeys/limitations Looking forward to your responses. Thanks a lot.

Hello everyone,We have the following issue at the company: we receive external lists from various data sources as ad-hoc communications. These lists contain fields that we need to use either to segment a journey or to personalize email content, for example. It's important to note that these are cases where we don't have structured data in Adobe XDM, and they are sporadic occurrences.Given this scenario, we opened a ticket with Adobe, E-001621243, inquiring about the use of data from custom audience sources for these purposes. We were informed that it was not possible. However, upon analyzing the settings under Configurations > Data Sources, we saw that it's possible to create a field group and select custom audiences and their derived fields within it. Again, these are sporadic cases and will always be handled this way.Our questions are:Is this considered a good practice by Adobe?Could we encounter future problems using this custom data in a journey? If this is not a viable option, do

Hi! I have a doubt about those activities regarding new entrances. Imagine I have Audience A with 100 profiles. Journey 1 with Allow re-entrance disabled: Starts with a Read Audience scheduled each 1 day.----> 1st shot: 100 profilesDuring the day, 2 new persons enters the A audience-----> 2nd shot: 102? or 2? I know Audience Qualification only applies for new enters or exits, but my question is the amount of profiles 2nd shot will trigger, 102 or only the 2 new? In case only the 2 new, what's the difference of using Read Audience or Audience Qualification? Audience Qualification is in real-time? Thanks.

Hi All,  Can you pls suggest how to send email on every Third Monday of the month in journey Thanks,Gaurav

We would like to understand apart from AJO's basic OOTB email open/click rate reporting, is there any way within AJO platform to track conversion (e.g. purchase events/ event registration)? Are there any native reporting to view such conversion?Thank you.
