Declined Ideas – Here’s Why
Some ideas didn’t make it to the roadmap this time. We know this can be disappointing, so we’re sharing brief context to keep things transparent.
- Use of paragraph tag when pasting text into email fragments – declined because this was found to be outside AJO’s scope and not a product issue. While it won’t be added as a feature now, we appreciate the detailed investigation and encourage sharing any helpful workarounds in the community.

Top Ideas to Show Love On
Not every idea is accepted right away, but community support can make all the difference. Here are a few popular requests currently gathering momentum. Drop a comment, add your vote, or share your use case to help them gain visibility with the product team:
- Savable filter for Campaign List in Adobe Journey Optimizer - Introduce savable filters for campaign lists, allowing users to quickly apply preferred views and set default filters for easier navigation.
- Bulk Delete Feature for Journey Overview - Add the ability to delete multiple journeys at once from the overview page, with safeguards to prevent removing active or published journeys.
- Personalization attribute support in Offer custom parameters - Enable personalization in offer custom attributes by supporting profile data and PQL functions, so offers can include dynamic content without relying on complex code-based logic.
- Custom quality checks while reviewing/finalizing Campaigns – Allow teams to define custom pre-send checks—such as profanity filters, image size validation, branding compliance, and audience integrity—before campaign approval.
- Coupon Management in AJO - Provide functionality to append unique coupon codes or URLs to individual emails during deployment, ensuring one-to-one mapping and automatic coupon “burn” after use.
