Hello all, I'm using the Data Object to set eVars to send to Adobe Analytics for reporting purposes. Inside the Data Object, I want to set all the variables using a data element to return a JSON.  My Data object is set to the following.  var dataTest = { "eVar1": "%dataelement1%", "eVar2": "%dataelement2%", "eVar3": "%dataelement3%" }; return dataTest;  However, when I check Omnibug to see the values that are being returned, I see this instead of my expected values:events[0].data.__adobe.analytics.eVar1%dataelement1%events[0].data.__adobe.analytics.eVar2%dataelement2%events[0].data.__adobe.analytics.eVar3%dataelement3% Inserting the JSON directly into the same area as the Data Element also returns the correct values instead of the data element names. Did I miss something in my setup, or is it even possible to set these via Data Element and have the values be dynamic? I'm guessing that if a data element is used, it will retu

I have found that when I use the 'cached' remote offer the content NEVER shows up. This is very limiting as this is what we have use to structure our CMS integration. I can see that all network calls are going through and there are no errors but the content just never shows up. The same content will show up if I use a dynamic link but due to the structure of our product we cant always do that. I am wondering if there is any support to see why a remote offer is failing to get the data.

Hello,   I am an admin for our Adobe Experience Platform product (in every product profile), however I am unable to import a CSV audience via workflows. The alert says that I need permissions to view-segments, manage-segments, view-sources, manage-sources, view-datasets, and manage-datasets. Based on other information in the Experience league those permissions are created and assigned within the AEP under and admin section called permissions. As you can see from my screen shot that option is not available. Am I doing something incorrectly or should I be looking in a different area?

I used Entity API to pull data of particular profile. Hello,I recently started seeing the "redirect" beacon data in the AEP Debugger when data is 0kb in the network tab for that server call. Is there any way to hide this info since it is very confusing as there is no label for redirect and looks like an extra beacon is sent in AEP Debugger when it's not. We completely rely on AEP Debugger for testing so would really appreciate any feedback. 🙂Thanks!

Hi everyone, for a client with a mobile App written in Flutter we've created an analytics setup that works via the edge network. The App(s) use Edge Bridge to forward Analytics trackStates/trackActions through the edge network. Everything seems to be working as expected for the iOS version, however the Android version doesn't send any data or any requests. We can see the data appearing in Assurance sessions (which are using a different channel to forward data) but nothing in Analytics. The developers use this package https://pub.dev/packages/flutter_aepedge to implement in Flutter, with some initialization code in Kotlin (Swift for iOS off course, but, code is identical as far as possible). We've checked the code, compared it to examples / documentation and even presented it to someone at Adobe but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have experience with this kind of setup, this kind of problem or can give me a hint ? Thanks in advance

Hi, I have been exploring AEP platform for running  Data science models and we are seeing package issues due to incompatible versions. For example the notebooks we have built is on tensorflow=1.15 & Python 3.7.6 but the AEP comes with lower versions of these. I was wondering if there's a way for us to create a virtual environment, install required packages and attach the AEP jupyterhub to environment or Create a docker container and use within AEP environment. Any documentation on this will be very helpful. Regards,Subhash S

In customer AI historical data requirements, its mentioned that data required = Eligible lookback window + outcome window. Where the eligible lookback window is defined in the eligible population.  So, if I set eligible population to be something like - web activity in last 60 days and set goal condition to happen in upcoming 30 days, total data required would be 60 + 30 = 90 days. As per my understanding, it means the model would train on last 90 days of historical data. Then, I think model will look beyond "web activity in last 60 days. I fail to understand, how is eligible population working if model requires 90 days of historical data? Also, is lookback window/eligible population limited to 120 days? (image is taken from adobe documentation - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/intelligent-services/customer-ai/data-requirements ) 

Hi everyone, The dates in the AEP UI and for query results are displayed as MM/DD/YYYY.I would prefer it to display as DD/MM/YYYY in line with our locale (Australia); is there an option to change this? I have tried setting my Adobe profile preferred language to English (UK), as well as my browser language to English (UK), no changes were observed. Thanks,Andrew

Hello, Not sure if anyone can answer this, but wanted to know if there was a way in AEP for me to determine how many times a profile has visited/viewed/interacted with a web page. Here's an example:  A user scans a QR code each month that unlocks content on a LP. Can I track what the last level someone unlocked by seeing what webpages they have visited and how many times they visited?  We want to be able to extend specific messaging to frequent engagers.  Please advise. 

Hi there,   Our company is just implementing AEP and so I have a few questions (Apologies in advanced if they are silly questions) regarding identities and licensing usage.   In our sandbox, when I go into Administration > License Usage, under the addressable audience, I see 1M licensed. Currently, after we enabled our XDM Experience Event dataflow into AEP, we have already gotten over 1M profiles. When I check under Profiles by identity under Customer > Profiles, I noticed that it is mostly occupied by profiles with single ECID. I am thinking wouldn't this be an issue if a lot of our visitors visit with Incognito browser which generates a new ECID each time and a new profile is "created" and permanently occupying a profile slot?   We did set ECID as the primary identifier in the XDMExperienceEvent Schema, should I set our CRM ID as the primary identifier instead in the XDMExperienceEvent schema? Would that affect our ability to segment non-authenticated

I created a custom field group (arp) and added a field, "menuArr". What I don't understand is why doesn't the schema editor show the new field group as a node under "_Irf" Also the path for menuArr shows as "_irf.menuArr" I would have expected the path to be "_irf.arp.menuArr" The right rail does say it's assigned to the "arp" Field Group. Thanks

Hi,I need some help on how to update a custom field group I created, which expects an array of strings. I don't see any examples, so I hope it is straight forward. The path is "_drh.menuArr" and I want to be able to populate it with anywhere from 1 - 6 values via a data element. Is populating it as easy as having the data element just return the entire array to the field group or do I have to loop through the values and return each value individually? If I have to return each value individually, how does this work? I'm not sure if I have to specify the index for each value or will the schema auto index the returned values?  For example, Let's say my data element wants to return these values:  // Example of data element named "arrayOfMenuItems" which wants to populate "_drh.menuArr"var dataElementMenuItems  = ["up", "down", "left"];How would I populate the "_drh.menuArr" field group via the data element? Thanks!

Hi, The profile attributes are not updated when user is created with websdk integration tags extension.when user registers or logins, profile is created with events, but profile attributes are not updated  I need guidance on how to update profile attributes with event schema (as we can only use event schema in websdk integration tags extension) Is it an expected behavior as we are using event schema ?  Profile events are updated as expected.

This might sound like a dumb question, but I’m asking anyway because it’s definitely out of my depth: If a visitor lands on a website for the first time, they’re assigned an ECID. Let’s say they browse a few product pages and then leave without doing anything else (like creating an account or adding to cart). If they use the same browser to visit YouTube the next day, will the ECID still be retained? And can we start showing them ads based on the product pages they looked at on the website? Thanks

Hi Everyone We're using an integration of the AEP Web SDK via Tags. For a current requirement, it became necessary to send particular events to a different data set than the rest of the other basic web tracking events. Additionally, this data set also comes with a different schema.Since one AEP data stream can be only attached to one particular data set, I thought about creating an additional data stream and then re-configure the alloy.js in the onBeforeEventSend command and some custom for just this particular event…however, even when I try locally I get the following issue: [alloy] configure command was rejected. Error: Error: [alloy] The library has already been configured and may only be configured once Is there any other way how this could potentially be achieved?

I'm rolling out the web SDK to a new web app. We will only be using CJA for reporting. What host names need to be whitelisted on the web app? Thanks!
