Adobe Experience Platform

I have a client requirement where the client requires all fields to be redacted in lower environments since we are dealing with production data, give me suggestion on how to approach this What are the best practices for such a scenario in AEP?What are the risks associated with it?If this is possible in AEP, how to do it? I am open to suggestions, @Parvesh_Parmar @jayakrishnaaparthasarathy

Is there documentation clarifying how AEP interprets "occurs <= N years before now" versus "occurs >= N years before now"?

Hello Everyone, We want to implement Fallback tracking in which even if Customer has not consented for cookies, tracking can happen. As per Adobe, only following dimensions & Events can be tracked in the event of no cookies scenario. Dimension: Domain   Dimension: Page URL(No Query String)   Dimension : Friendly Page Name    Dimension: Opt In Status   Event: Opt In & Opt Out  Has anyone implemented anything like this before? Is it possible to collect more data? Any inputs on this will be really helpful. Thanks,Nitin

I am attempting to create an audience where an activity occurred within the last 5 years. It seems that the criteria I expect to work is generating code that performs the opposite. For example, event rule: Boat_Activity_Date "In Last" 5 Years Generates this code snippet: WHERE(C0.exists(_xxxxxxxx.Boattransformed_BoatDemographic.Boat_Activity_Date occurs <= 5 years before now))]) Reading the WHERE condition, it seems to specify records where the Boat_Activity_Date is older than 5 years before now. Should it not have "occurs >= 5 years before now".

Unable to sign in into Adobe Experience Platform Debugger. After click sign in, it will show "Signing in" with loading cursor. After a while, the login popup closed automatically without successful login. Is there an issue with the login function ?

I have got such a code:  However its shows errors like that:6:13:11 PM > ErrorCode: 42601 queryId: 39d83348-6ae0-4f92-8d7e-8c79b703c018 Syntax error encountered. Reason: [line 2:18: mismatched input '.' expecting {',', ')'}]That part works perfectly:select_pwcglobptrsd.identification.core.email,productListItems.namefromdemo_system_event_dataset_for_website_global_v1_1where eventType = 'commerce.purchases'Both tables are enabled to profile. Enable which I would like insert INTO:- _pwcglobptrsd.email STRING- _pwcglobptrsd.Products ARRAY OF STRING

Recently the "Sign In" feature of the Adobe Experience Platform Debugger has stopped working. It takes me though the federated login steps, but doesn't sign me into my Adobe cloud account anymore.

when clicking 'sign in' in plugin top right, the sign in pop up appears, briefly spins and disappears. sign in fails.

Hi! I'm trying to sign in into the Abode Debugger Chrome extension, and after I enter my login and password it acts like it signing me in, but the extension is still logged off. I already cleared cache of my browser and reinstalled the extension but the result is the same. Is there anything else I can do to sign in?

I'm logged in to AEP and Data Collection with my Adobe ID.  When I click Sign In on the Debugger (Chrome), a log in screen pops up, autocompletes, and closes.  Then I'm still not logged in.

When I try to sign in to the Adobe Experience Platform Debugger Tool Extension For Adobe Experience Platform Launch, it won't let me sign in. It just loads, then says 'signing in', then disappears again, and I'm not signed in (it does this quite a lot). However, I am able to sign in to Analytics, Launch, etc. Does anyone else get this problem a lot with the Debugger Extension, and are there any tips to stop it happening?

I am not able to sign in AEP Debugger Sign in Not working. this started happening from last 3-4 days.

What is the business use-case for that? How that works?

Hi Everyone, Goal is don't use Adobe analytics source connector.  In Analytics, classification for campaign (v1).Campain id (v1) - abc123Delivery tool - ABCDelivery Name - PLM Need to impliment the classification in cja just like adobe analytics classification.  Here's my proposed approach. Please tell me if I'm missing any steps, making a mistake, or if there's a better way to achieve this.Proposed Steps:XDM Schema Creation:○ Class: XDM Experience Event○ Field Group: Adobe Analytics ExperienceEvent○ Mapping: Map eVar1 to Campaign ID (v1) within the Adobe Analytics ExperienceEvent field group.○ Question 1: I need to include "Delivery Tool" and "Delivery Name" in my XDM schema. Should I create a custom XDM field group for these classifications, or is there an existing field group I can leverage? If custom, what data type is recommended for each of these? 2. Dataset Creation: Create a dataset in AEP using the XDM schema defined in step 1.3. Data Stream

👋 I'm one of the developers of the AEP Debugger. A recent update broke the log-in process on the AEP Debugger. We submitted a fix to Google yesterday and they are reviewing it right now. This process usually takes a few days. I apologize for the bump in the road and really appreciate your patience as we all wait for Google.

Hi, I have a question about how to specify a certain rule when defining an audience in AEP. I have these two date fields into the profile: RefDate1 and RefDate2. In audience builder I want to have some condition like RefDate1 <= RefDate2. How do I specify it in the GUI?

You must have heard of the Edge Network while implementing the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). However, not everybody knows what it really is or understands it in full. In this post, I want to mitigate this gap and I am going to introduce this part of AEP.DefinitionLet us start with the definition of the concept of "edge network" in general:It is the physical portion of the network that interconnects with “the outside world.”I like it because it is concise, and it encapsulates all that needs to be explained. If you think of AEP as a mesh of services, servers, network devices, databases..., most of these elements are hidden behind a security system. This mesh is what we call AEP Core. Only a small portion of this mesh can be accessed from external systems. The first building block that can be accessed from the outside world is Data Ingestion, but only secured and vetted private networks are allowed. There is also a data access for the Discovery & Insights building block, which requi

Hello team, Earlier with appmeasurement, we used to send Adobe analytics the ECID with "D=mid" to one of our eVars. Now with WebSDK, Adobe recommends we use alloy send if we have to use it on client side:return alloy("getIdentity").then(function(result) {console.log (result.identity.ECID);_satellite.setVar("mcid", result.identity.ECID);});So i use aboe code, but this code always runs at the last even if the rule has priority 1.Do you have any other recommendations on how can i send ECID to Adobe Analytics? Thanks,Nitin

Hey guys, just a quick question: in a calculated field, has anyone applied an AEP data prep in the UI which transforms an incoming array of JSON objects into a new map/object structure like below?array_to_map(items, "id") seems to only generate an object structure that gives little control over what the target structure. Are there no "real" array functions in the source data prep? Destinations however seem to support a lot more functions like transformArray, filterArray, .... https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/data-prep/functions#special-operations   Source structure: { "items": [{ "id": "12345", "hello": "foo", "bla": "blub" },{ "id": "26480", "hello": "bar", "bla": "something else" }] }   Target object structure: { "12345_foo": { "id": "12345", "hello": "foo" }, "26480_bar": { "id": "26480", "hello": "bar" } }  Thx for any input!

I'm curious when someone is in Tags developing for the Mobile SDK, how do you validate your work? For the Web SDK or for Adobe Analytics, you can inject the dev. library into a web application and test your code. How is this step accomplished with the Mobile SDK? What is the process for testing data elements and rules for the Mobile SDK, while still in Tags? Thanks!

When tiles are used to generate TOCs the period (dot) that is included in the title creates inconsistent spacing when a dot leader tab is used. What is the Reference Page syntax to remove the period from the title? I currently am using:  <$paranum> <$paratext> ....................................................................................<$chapnum>-<$pagenum> Thanks in Advance!

We are planning to build the propensity models using the Customer AI functionality that is included in our subscription. Will creating these models using the out-of-the-box Customer AI capabilities will have any cost implications—either in terms of licensing or data volume/records processed.

In the dev sandbox - seeing this dataset error:  The message cannot be validated due to the format error: #/placeContext/localTime: [2025-04-30T10:31:15.693Z-07:00] is not a valid date-time. How to set up such a rule? Do you have any ideas? Especially when it comes to VEC activities which are render automatically ....
