Adobe Experience Manager Sites

We're in the process of upgrading AEM from 6.2 to 6.4. We use ContextHub for personalization and we have run into an issue. We're using Classic UI to author the components and we cannot see the segments in the Experiences window.  Followed this article(https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-64/deploying/restructuring/all-repository-restructuring-in-aem-6-4.html?lang=en) to include the contexthub configuration to the root page. However on doing this, we can see the edit configs of the components all moving to the top of the screen. Also getting following errors in Developer Tools:  granite.min.js:104 GET https://SERVER_NAME.seg.js/ net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED widgets.min.js:1328 Uncaught DOMException: Failed to execute 'insertAdjacentHTML' on 'Element': The element has no parent. GET https://SERVER_NAME/HOME_PAGE_PATH/_jcr_content/contexthub.commerce.orderhistory.json 400

Hi All, I have an image asset (part of hero component) which is rendered on published site as Scene 7 URL. The hero banner image when processed via smart crop is not visible to all users. For users with higher resolution and sizes (height-3000px beyond) the image is not rendering and displays 403 HTTP Code in console.     The original DAM asset is a JPEG image with width 2133 px and height 3200 px.     We have even created a new crop profile "Extra-Large" to accomodate 3000px+ height images.     The URL is of form https://s7d9.scene7.com/is/image/brandName/heroBanner-1?wid=2000&hei=3001&dpr=off If the hei parameter value <= 3000, we are getting 200 OK response, else the response is illegal image size.   Can you please help with the same ? @arunpatidar, @mohit_kbansal, @vikram1285, @markusbullaadobe, @kautuk_sahni    Thanks in advance, Rohan Garg

There are 15 GB of assets in the development environment that I would like to move to the stage and production environments. Assets can be moved between environments using package manager. However, it is time consuming and requires a lot of package creation and deployment. Does AEMaaCS offer any other options?

Hi, I want to add a sticky footer to my page that always remains at the bottom of the screen despite the scrolling and length of the page. What should be my strategy? I have tried to make a container sticky and add my component to that didn't work.

Hi All,I'm trying to build a sample project using maven archetype,  mvn -B archetype:generate -D archetypeGroupId=com.adobe.aem -D archetypeArtifactId=aem-project-archetype -D archetypeVersion=24 -D aemVersion=6.5.0 -D appTitle="My Site" -D appId="mysite" -D groupId="com.mysite" -D frontendModule=general -D includeExamples=n  but facing some error, as below Even after deleting .m2 still facing the same problem.

The CSS and JS files are processed in both author and publisher environments. But the dispatcher is not processing the same css and js files. On checking the network tab, it shows a 404 error for both CSS and JS files. Any idea on bringing the css and js back to dispatcher URL as well?   Thanks in advance   @arunpatidar @debal_das @briankasingli

Hi,   When we install AEM instance through terminal with the help of  java -jar aem-author-p4502.jar command, it asked for admin password as shown in below screenshot I am working on one automation and wanted to know is there any way to pass this password along with java -jar aem-author-p4502.jar command. So that we don't have to enter it later? It will directly take it from argument we passed with command.   Thanks

Hi I am trying to unschedule the sling jobs(Scheduled jobs) in aem 6.1 programmatically. Its not working. I am using below method. public void stopScheduledJob() { Collection<ScheduledJobInfo> myJobs = jobManager.getScheduledJobs(TOPIC, 10, null); myJobs.foreach(sji -> sji.unschedule()); }   Please let me know, is there any other solution apart from this.   PS: I dont want to delete manually under /var/eventing/scheduled-jobs

Hi, I've a project requirement (AEM 6.2) where I need to restrict the specific component in parsys to a limited count? Let's say I've 3 component allowed for a particular section parsys. Let's call it {A, B, C}. The 'A' component can be dragged any number of time in parsys but if component 'B' is dragged on parsys then it shouldn't allow to drag component 'C' and vice-versa. Thanks, Vijay

Environment - AEM Forms 6.5 SP 12 (adobe-aemfd-win-pkg-6.0.640) ( On Prem)   Based on our findings it appears that once we create a bookmark in XDP template using Forms designer see [1] and provide input XML source. One should be able to generate PDFs with bookmark using FormsService API. And as a next step we can use AssemblerService API (with DDX [2]) to create Table of Contents dynamically.   However, we are unable to create bookmarks for all of the pages of PDF in XDP, using [1] we can create bookmark for just one page (say Page 3 or 5) but it is inconsistent and does not show bookmark for all other pages in PDF using XDP template. Can anyone help us to find out a sample code or example where generating Table of Contents dynamically using bookmarks is working fine.   P.S. Any adobe office link or private blog with respect to this will be helpful.   [1] https://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/11.0/Services/WS57a26560eb6a24db-6e5d73fa131760810bd-8000.2.html &n

Hi All,In my aem service impl, when I am adapting my resource to ContentFragment Object it returns null CF object.Although my resource is not null and I can see my resource path as well. Thanks!

scenario:I have 2 AEM environments: pre-prod and prod   pre-prod = environment which contains all the latest code/configuration changes (this includes feature requests and bug fixes BUT not the latest content).   prod = currently running environment that's available to the public. (Not so latest code/configuration BUT latest content)   Our current architecture is moving to a new one where pre-prod and prod are switch (The platform is calling it a blue/green deployment). This means I need to do a content sync between the 2 environments before the switch.   We've been using VLT in our testing and I think VLT will be used for the initial content sync. What I'm unsure of is the subsequent content syncs required.   Thank you.   EDIT: not sure if this matter but we're still on 6.4.x
