Hi,I have a basic question on Responsive Feature provided with Core Image Component.  When the size of screen changes the soruce of image also changes accoridngly with respect to the width defined in template design for image componentExample:<img class="cmp-image__image" itemprop="contentUrl" data-cmp-hook-image="image" alt="" src="/content/we-retail/language-masters/en/products/equipment/_jcr_content/root/responsivegrid/image.coreimg.82.300.png/1595274233631/wknd-logo-dk.png"> My Doubt isa) was the servlet everytime fectching the original image component and applies the width Size thereby compressing and displaying itorb) Is the adaptive servlet picking up image from different rendition of the available image based on nearly matching width?  I know the ACS Commons Named Image Servlet picks up original image and applies different sizing/cropping etc on top of that at run time is the Adaptive Servlet works same way? Please suggest 

Hi, I have a file on this path http://localhost:4502/assetdetails.html/content/dam/we-retail/en/activities/hiking/hiking_5.jpg,​ when I try to access the file by direct link like this: http://localhost:4502/content/dam/we-retail/en/activities/hiking/hiking_5.jpg the file is download but It should open on browser windows not do download direct.  What are happening? The response header might be wrong how can I fix it?

We have a large number of published assets on the Brand Portal that need to be removed.  It's a little difficult to find in Author (not impossible, but will require some reporting/queries).  I am wondering what happens to their status in Author, if I delete the images from the Brand Portal? Is this a recommend approach?  

Is there a way to connect to assets in AEM DAM from third party web application pages built in Vignette ? If yes could you please provide us the steps if any?

Is it possible to change the default sort behavior of files/folders in AEM 6.4 Assets? Would like to sort folders/files by title by default without switching to List View  > Title. Thanks.

I need to customise top menu and add one more button just near search icon at right side . Please let me know what path needs to override . I already chexked /libs/wcm/.../nav and one level up and above didnt find any node or releveant file from where i can do that . please let me know the solution if anyone has 

Hi all, In the AEM Assets documentation it is written that a new asset can be created with the following POST request:POST /api/assets/myFolder/* -F"name=myAsset.png" -F"file=@myPicture.png" Could you please provide more information on what is expected as a value for file property? I have tried uploading it with a path to the image, but every time I try to create an asset I end up creating a new folder. What is the correct way to upload an asset via HTTP API? All the best!

I am uploading 3d assets in the DAM but the preview is not coming for the same. When I use the same glb file, the 3d view is coming in the html but its not opening the view in space for AR. 

Hi All,  After installing AssetLink-configuration package for AssetLink configuration in author instance, observing that it updates default login page of AEM Author instance and added login link as "Sign in with Adobe"In our use case AEM author users are authenticated by LDAP using federated id, whereas users coming from creative cloud app will be authenticated by using enterprise id. Considering above use case not seeing any use of login link "Sign in with Adobe".  how can we remove "Sign in with Adobe" link from sign in page, and any complication we may face after removing it.  AEM 6.4.4 versionAsset Link configuration Package referencehttps://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/configure-aem-assets-for-asset-link.html 

Hi Team, We have integrated Dynamic Media hybrid mode in our project and all the images are videos are rendering from the DM cloud. We have the issue with the svg and gif formats. These 2 formats are not delivering from Dynamic Media and node structure also looks different when compare with other assets. Thanks in advance.

A document which I am authoring has multiple topics, each containing a table with a number corresponding to each row. For example topic1 has a table with rows numbered 1,2, and 3Topic2 has rows numbered 21,22, 23, and 25. Is there any way to add auto-numbering for each row. Also, some numbers may be skipped. So, it would be good to have a provision to change the value of of one row, and continue the numbering for the remaining rows. Any ideas for automating this would be appreciated.

Hello,We have a usecase like:We have integrated AEM SAML(OOTB) with Azure AD for user authentication. Now In Azure they have limitation that they can provide max of 150 groups(user belongs to) in saml response.If a user is member of more than 150 groups for SAML, then Azure AD does not emit the groups claim in SAML Assertion. Instead it will replace the group attribute (usually named http://schemas.microsoft.com/claims/groups) with a group.link attribute (http://schemas.microsoft.com/claims/groups.link) that will contain a link back to https://graph.windows.net/<IdentityProviderID>/users/<UserObjectID>/getMemberObjects.This causes the role mapping on the platform to be ineffective for the user the Assertion is applicable to.User gets authenticated from azure but couldn't landed up with any AEM screen as saml response doesn't contain group information to redirect user to authorized page. Hello All,   I am using AEM 6.3 with SP2.  I wanted to edit the metadata properties (basically to add new values for a multi-valued property) of multiple assets at once.I followed this document the https://helpx.adobe.com/in/experience-manager/6-3/assets/using/managing-multiple-assets.html  and try to add new values for the metadata with "Append mode" option checked. It's working perfectly fine.But consider the following scenario.1) I have uploaded 50 assets and added a custom metadata property lets say (material:diamond)to them2) I add 100 more assets in same folder , and select all 150 and open in metadata editor screen.3) I add the same property value which was added to first 50 assets (material: diamond).4) I check the "Append mode" option and click save. Now the first 50 assets are having duplicate values (material[]:diamond,diamond)and next 100 assets are having correct values (no duplicates) I don't want to have duplicate values for t

Hi,Currently we are working on AEM 6.5.2 which is host on the new Cloud but is not configure as Adobe Experience Manager Assets as a Cloud Service (so to upload images we use the Upload Workflow). We have the Scene7 mode  (not Hybrid).We use Image Preset in order to configure the Dynamic Renditions that are created every time we upload an asset. It is possible to add conditions over the Images Presets created based on the MIME Type of the asset that is being uploaded?For example if the Asset MIME Type is GIF we do not want to create the Images Presets with MIME Type JPG Thanks

I rendered frame by frame with the roto brush to remove a person from their background. I imported a new background from a photoshop file. I exported the file with media encoder and the mp4 it create has parts of the person randomly disappearing into the background. I go back to the After Effects file and none of these errors are visible. I've used this tool for 7 other videos in the last week and haven't had this issue. Please Help!! On a deadline!

I am using AEM 6.5 Assets and need to explore Video Smart Crop Feature.I have created and applied the video profile to one of the folders where I uploaded a sample video.I see the smart crop option, but no crop profiles appear in the dropdown. Can someone help as this a new feature and I couldn't find any help doc article.  

Currently, we have the folder structure listed below. When I set up a permission group Group A with access to Company A, for this to work I have to include read access to the Team and Clients level folders. The issue I'm having is when a new folder for Company D is added to the Clients folder, Group A ends up having visibility into the newly added folder. HI I just notice that our AEM asset folder in 6.1 do not have a timeline history showing.  So how are we supposed to know if this folder was un-published or deleted.  this isnt expected behavior is it? it says on timeline, "The timeline is not available for the selected item type".

With the latest version of AEM (AEM Assets) going on cloud, is it possible to have the AEM (AEM Assets) hosted on a private cloud or On-Prem or AWS?
