Adobe Analytics

I am passing 3 events  one for each  tax, shipping, handling at the end of the product string. These are firing in the Omnibug but in reports there is no data. The events are set as “currency”. Where and what should I correct? Please help. Thank you.

When trying to refresh all of my datasets in a Power BI report this morning (3/30) I was asked to authenticate, which usually does not happen. When I entered in my credentials I was greeted with the message: I have been using this connection for the better part of 2 years without issue until today. Anyone run into this same issue and find a solution? Thanks

Hi everyone, I'm looking at creating a Power BI Report that links data from Adobe Analytics and other sources. However, whilst I've managed to obtain the data via the connector and publish the views to an online workspace, I'm unable to automate the refresh of the data to make it usable. Has anyone been able to connect Adobe Analytics to Power Bi using the connector and been able to refresh the data within an online workspace automatically? I ideally don't want to go down the Report Builder Route if possible as that has limitations of the data it can pull. TIAMatthew

Hi Team, We have a web portal on which login is mandatory and hence we collect the customer ID of every visitor.We want to use our own customer ID to identify visitors instead of ECID.  We tried implementing setCustomerID method, but not sure of which metric to see in workspace. Could you please suggest the method or point us to a valid documentation ? Thanks,Kumar 

I'm lead to believe that eVars persist (once set) until they are configured to expire. In some cases, expiration might be set to 'visit' - which I take to mean... once set, the value of that eVar will persist until the visit ends.  While using the chrome extension 'Adobe Analytics Debugger', I can see the eVar having a value at the point it is set... but once I click away onto some other part of the site, I can no longer see the eVar and the value it was set to. I'm expecting to see it with every subsequent hit. Am I misinterpreting the textbook here? There's probably a basic answer to this. Hoping someone can enlighten me 🤔 🤔

As you see my selected Time Frame is Feb 1 - Feb 23 and the count of days metric is showing 22. This happens very randomly and would like to know what causes this ? What is the best way to dynamically measure count of days besides the count distinct ?  

Hello dear Adobe Community,I'm trying to make a Bounce Rate analysis on the Adobe Analytics Workspace.My analysis has a 7 days date range - but whenever I try do visualize this with line viz from a freeform, there is always a Day previous to my date range(so 8 values, instead to 7) that shows on the freeform and the line viz with no value at all.Why is this happening ?When I try with other metrics we have only 7 values, as intended.You can see this on my Attachment,Thanks again for the help!Cheers -Mario Nuñez 

Hello Everyone We're currently facing a major issue with one of our Adobe Analytics instances: We initially created a Report Suite for development purposes which is receiving data via Adobe Launch as expected. However, any other Report Suite that we were generating after that point, does not seem to receive any data at all (neither in real-time and/or Analysis Workspace). All settings are identical as we used the initially created, working Report Suites as a template to make sure we inherite the expected setup. We also validated already that it's not associated with our implementation setup by triggering manual hits via the legacy static pixels. The result is the same, the working Report Suite receives data, all others are do not get any data at all. Here is what we already tried to exclude as potential issues:Timestamp configuration (is off for all Report Suites working and non-working)Implementation (as explained above)Go-live date has passed already a few days agoIden

Hi,I have a Mobile property on AEP Data Collection (former Launch).I set the property only to pass data do Report Suite, no any rule is set. If I want disable production environment, is it sufficient to publish a library where all is disable, is it correct?Meanwhile i can continue to work on development and staging environment publish only on these two environments a library where all is enabled. Is it correct? Many thanks

Hi, Lost my Add-ons tab on excel and the Adobe Report Builder functions after excel update. Looked at the add-ins section on the options window and in the COM add-ins it shows the adobe report builder add-in with the error "Not loaded. User choose to disable macros". I checked my macros settings and they are all enabled by default. Any help? I'm using adobe report builder 5.6.51 on excel office version 2102. thanks!

Unable to see segment in Data warehouse which I created in Workspace. I created a traffic segment which filters out some specific type of traffic. But I don't see that segment in Data warehouse.

I came across this post https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-ideas/support-ipv6-addresses-within-adobe-analytics/idi-p/358781 which says that Adobe Analytics do not support IPV6. What is the impact of this? IPV6 devices cannot send analytics data to Adobe Analytics or these devices can send the analytics data but the IP will not be captured in Adobe Analytics. If any of above, what is the recommendation to handle IPV6 mobile devices?

We are using Launch to manage the codes that sets the cookies but not to ingest the One trust script as this is directly implemented on the site.I have categorised both the AMCV, AMCVS cookies as strictly necessary in the Onetrust setup so these cookies gets dropped as soon as the cookie banner pops up but I noticed that additional cookies are getting dropped e.g. the demdex cookies from the ecid. question is do I need to categorise this as strictly necessary or is there a way to block this until consent is given? I am using the ecid extension in Launch.I also have a few plugins that helps support the Adobe implementation and I also see these cookies e.g. s_visit, s_visitnum being dropped, question is how to I block these plugin cookies until consent is given? I am using the Onetrust Launch extension as a blocking mechanism. Thanks in advance to whomever can help.

I have a use case where I cannot use the usual method of collecting custom event data via Adobe Data Collection which is creating a rule then setting action as Adobe Analytics - Set Variables, then Send Beacon then Clear Variables. I need to tightly control what data is sent with the hit to Adobe. In Data Collection the rule fires. My main issue is with the Action in the rule, which is set to Custom Code. To control the data I want to send to AA, I'm using Javascript to set a few variables then send the data via s.tl() method. The issue is that when the call is sent it's sent as a page view. In the Experience Platform Debugger, isPageView is true on the hit. It should be false; it should be a s.tl() with the link type being "o" (custom link). This is the code. What needs to be changed to make it a non-pageview hit? Btw all the vars I'm setting and sending are fine and being collected, the only issue is the hit being a page view. <script src="AppMeasurement.js"></script&gt

Has anyone worked with Treasure data Pixel extension in Launch and passed tracking variable details ? If so how can we do that and when will this data reflect in Treasure data tables ?

I am trying build a segment to get one time visitor who never returned back in the specific time period. Since we use evar for tracking visit number I am unable to use greater than option but I see greater than option in Distinct count. Instead of using greater than option under Distinct count can I use Include :Visit number is equal to 1andExclude :Visit number not equal to 1  

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to update many Adobe Analytics Workspace Projects at one time if I wanted to add in more or different data. For reference, we have 1000+ projects all made with the same template but for different virtual report suites. We wanted to make a change on all of the projects without going in individually and making that change.  Is that possible at all? 

I have web pages which has "Blogs" and "Projects" contentType. Then Both of the data objects are mapped to a eVars to have the content type captured for reporting.However, when in the analytics I am building the segments using the evar for the contentType dataobject of the page then the analytics numbers goes down for the metrics.    This is how the analytics numbers are showing down:Any suggestions or solutions on that.Thanks,JV 

Guessing from GUI, it seems to be possible, but after dropped multi items as below, the result didn't show multi items in the center node. What I want: To check flow(both entry, exit) of several URLs in single pane.Thank you very much for reading, it'd be grad if you will help me.

Do we really need to make overwriteCrossDomainMCIDAndAID = true, when we pass adobe_mc parameter from Mobile App to WebView?or just passing adobe_mc with "visitor.appendVisitorIDsTo(destinationURL);"should do the job? 

Hello, I've added hyperlinks as a table of contents to my workspace project. My report audience does not have access to Adobe Analytics. When I export to PDF the hyperlinks only go to workspace and do not link to the section in the PDF format. Is there a way to do this or do the hyperlinks only work while in Adobe Workspace?  Thank you
