We are doing some user clean up in our system. We are using Workfront Proof integrated with Workfront. In some cases we have had duplicate emails and noticed that workfront proof is adding +112973 to one of the emails (usually when there is a guest and a user account).
We have some that won't resolve even after deleting both in Workfront Proof, then going back to Workfront and deactivating and reactivating the user. When we reactivate it is adding them back with the number even though they are the only one showing in Workfront Proof. Anyone have an idea on how ot resolve without deleting the user in Workfront?

My understanding from talking to the helpdesk is that to repopulate them as a user in your workfront, you would need to delete their user account in the other instance. But I know there's also a little finagling involved since the proof profiles get recreated any time to you pull up an old proof that has them tagged in there somehow.
The long and short story is to probably contact the helpdesk and work through it carefully since it can be frustrating if you start randomly deleting people, to have them reappear.

Some supporting information received from helpdesk:
Member accounts are users who belong to another organization that also has ProofHQ, but needs access to review proofs they have been assigned to in your account. Since a member user exists on a different account, you cannot delete them fully from ProofHQ and you can only delete them on your account, but they will still exist as a user on the other company's account. This means that if you were to add them to your account again after deleting them, the plus email address would re-occur if they still exist in the other company's account.
Guest accounts are a little different. Guest accounts means that an external user, someone who does not currently exist on your contact list, was added to a workflow for a proof. When this happens, the system automatically creates a guest account for them. However, if the email used to add that user to the workflow already exists somewhere else in the system, the system will create the plus email address for them.
Member accounts are created when the user is active with another company and is added to a different company's workflow. Guest accounts are created when the user does not exist at all in ProofHQ, and they are added to a workflow, or if the user does exist in ProofHQ, but is deactivated on the other account; if they are deactivated, the system does not add them as a member since they do not have an active login to another account, but instead will create them as a guest user.

When a user with a matching email exists, in their own or in another proofing environment, Workfront creates an alias email address by adding the user’s account id as a suffix to their email. For example, username+accountid@domain.com. Users will still receive proof notifications in the event an alias email is created.
