Users on 'Work' license can no longer log hours direct to a ticket

Since the last Workfront update, staff on a 'work license' can no longer add hours direct to a ticket via the updates tab. I have checked all associated settings and the users are assigned to the problem tickets and have access to manage the tickets. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Rosie Cooper SmallWorlders

Sorry, I mixed up my terminology here - we call them 'ticket' internally - I mean of course 'task' Rosie Cooper SmallWorlders

This two Help pages indicates that Miriam should have access to add hours to the task, seeing as she has 'Contribute' access to the task:
