Is there anyway to upload a document as a normal document? It keeps showing as 'generating proof' even when I click 'upload document'. screenshot attached.

If it's something you want to look into for your system you could run a report to find users that have it check marked as true with this filter on a user report. It will pull through deactivated users so I would suggest creating all your filters through the native filtering tool first then switch to text mode and add it.

EXISTS:a:$$OBJCODE=USERPF
EXISTS:a:name=marketingsolutions.proofing.autogenerate
EXISTS:a:userID=FIELD:ID
EXISTS:a:value=true

There is a setting in your user profile that makes all documents load as proofs. You or a system admin will need to uncheck that box if you don't want documents to default to proofs.

Thank you!!!! Mystery solved. What is the general preference? Why would one person do one way over the other, other of curiosity?

Personally, I have it check marked for graphic designers or other similar roles that typically load documents that go out for proof reviews. Everyone else I have it unchecked.
