I had a new user who tried our Workfront link and was denied access. The user was unable to request access. I tried to manually add the user to adobe console and it said that the user was already in the system. Turns out the Workfront product was not assigned. I assigned it, but now the user in Workfront has an Unregistered notification next to their name. I can't seem to find any documentation on what this is and what it means. Does anyone know and know how to fix this?
Thank you,
Kaitie Gratto

Hello KaitlynGr,
I am quite sure, that this Unregistered tag will remain until the user tries to login to Workfront for the first time.
As soon as an unregistered user enters the email address in the login screen, he / she will be asked for a 6 digit verification code which is sent via mail. By entering this code the account is generated and the Unregistered tag in Workfront should disappear.

Lars

Thank you so much! This did the trick!
I am having the same issue, except that our users are using an SSO login. Will a Federated ID show unregistered until they login, or is there something else that I can do to clear the status?
This is correct. Once they log in for the first time, the unregistered tag will disappear.
I have a similar user. He was able to get in yesterday but today access denied. I see him listed as "unregistered". I asked him to clear cookies and if there is a way to log out and log back in. No avail. Not sure how else to help him.

When I see this, it's usually because the individual is signed into a different Adobe ID than the one associated with Workfront. In that case, they should log out of Adobe and sign back in with the credentials for your Workfront instance. I hope that works for you!
