Unable to change order of stories on Team Story Board

Hi - I have a number of Kanban Teams configured within Workfront with tasks assigned to them. According to the user guide, I should be able to order the items in the "Kanban Board" backlog column however this does not work. I can only order in the "Backlog" view. Any help would be appreciated!

Having spent the last couple of days trying to make sense on the order being applied to tasks on the Kanban Board, I am no further forward. I've checked the planned start/end dates, priority, date added etc for each task however the ordering still makes no sense. Anyone able to shed any light on this? Thanks
