Are there a "cliff notes" on how to get a tasks in a project to calculate planned start dates based on
In other words, I know:
I want Workfront to tell me when each task can start and should end thus calculating the end date
I essentially want to use the assigned resource's availability as a constraint on the task.
As I read the info on Duration Types, Task Constraints and Predicessors I am getting lost in the possiblities and not finding anything that accounts for the resources 6 hour day.

Terri,
This link, https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/administration-and-setup/add-users/create... specifically the section around Resource Planning should be helpful. Since people are in meetings and not doing tasks full-time there are fields in the user profile area for FTE and Work Time to help set users in exactly the fashion your wanting below. Its not a cliff notes, sorry, there is a little reading to understand both fields intent.
