We just went live with Assets Essentials a few weeks ago and are trying to figure out reports in Workfront that will show all documents that haven't been sent to AE. I have found the External Storage ID starts with "urn.workfront:documents:aem:author" if it has been sent to AE while the others are the guid for the document and document version. I am not able to use the contains option in the filters so I haven't been able to figure out how to use that in reporting to show documents that haven't been sent to AE. Since we can't filter by metadata or export metadata in AE, this is the only option I could think of.
Our industry is very regulated and we create a large volume of materials each month (several hundred materials are sent to AE each month). We need a way to audit to ensure everything is going to AE as it is finalized.
Does anyone have any ideas for how to create a report or use a different method to see that information?

Are you able to use the Current Version / External Integration Type to help you filter down any further? (even External Integration Type not equal to Workfront might be helpful, if you don't connect to too many other sources)
Edited to add: I seem to be able to force this in textmode? I never recommend this, but give it a shot:
currentVersion:externalStorageID=urn.workfront:documents:aem:author
currentVersion:externalStorageID_Mod=cicontains
