Remove Data labels from Summary view on a report?

Is it possible to remove the data label "sum" or "expense type" from the summary view of a report?

To replicate this behavior, I used the "Expense Type" report, but it doesn't display any data labels. What type of report are you using on your end?

This is an expense report but I have data labels that appear no matter what type of report I create.

How are you getting it to display without data labels on each line?
