project recalculation of timeline issues?

I have my settings "automatic and on change" - however the recalculation is not happening. I have to manually do a project timeline recalculation. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Is this a known bug?

Hi: I don’t trust WorkFront to consistently recalculate custom expressions - or to recalculate dates or finances. I am incessantly select Project Actions, recalculate timeline and/or recalculate finances. I also frequently select all tasks and then edit and then recalculate custom expressions - just to be sure it gets done. I recall hearing once, some time back, that the thread that should do the recalc sometimes doesn’t run. It gets stuck or dies a quiet death or something. I make sure everything is up to date by manually recalcing everything. Look, I probably don’t need to do all that recalcing. I just do it to rule out a problem with the auto-recalc process. Thanks! Yes, we have to go in and force recalculate timeline often. Seems to be especially so when a PM has a lot of changes to make to a schedule. Although our projects are set to recal 'automatic and on change' - it doesn't. :(

is there a way - to select multiple projects and manually recalculate their timeline - vs 1 by 1 - as I have over 100 projects...
