Password Requirements

I found the system authentication requirements in setup but there was nothing listed about password length. I searched documentation and it looks like length is only a requirement with a future planned enhanced authentication. Are there no current requirements on password length?

When I go to create a new user, here are the requirements listed on the new user's profile (they come up when you try to set a new password for the user):

Your password must be at least 8 characters and contain two of the following types of characters:

  • Uppercase Letters
  • Lowercase Letters
  • Numbers
  • Special Characters (i.e. ! @ # $ % etc.)

Thanks Skye, it just wasn't one of the things listed on authentication in the setup section so I couldn't find the specifics listed anywhere.
