Multiple notification recipients on a request queue

Is it possible to have multiple users receive a notification when a request comes through a request queue? We have a case where the PM reviews and assigns the requests as they come in but team leadership would also like to be notified when a request comes through so they have visibility. Does the "subscribe" function on the project hosting the queue work in this way? Thanks! Cameron Howitt One Firefly

Hi Cameron, Yes, we set up a group for our team and we all receive the request at the same time. Whoever has capacity picks up the request. But in your case, one person can assign it to someone else. We don't use the subscribe function. Hope that helps, Jennifer Jennifer Miklasz

We have all request queue issues route to Teams (even if it is a team-of-one) instead of individuals; this allows the request to be picked-up by anyone on the team, they all get notified, and they all get an entry in their dashboards. Kevin Quosig

Hi Cameron, Using a team in the routing rule is a good practice because it reduces the chances of the PM being a single point of failure in the process in the event they're out of the office. As long as members of the team have Work or Plan licenses and the notification enabled in their profile for "when my team gets a new work request", they'll receive the email that a new request was submitted.
