Hi all Higher Education WF Users!

We have been using WF for about six months. What reports have you used for metrics or to show leadership value?

If possible, we love to chat with you!

Thanks!

@Kathy McLaughlin‚ - I don't have an answer on your exact question, but wanted to make sure you were aware that we are holding a User Group tomorrow on the topic of "Reporting to Executives." Sounds timely!

One of our customers at Nordstrom is going to be sharing his executive dashboards, and we'll have about an hour of group discussion about what others are doing. Could be a good opportunity to see what reports and metrics others are using.

You can find more info here:

And the full schedule of upcoming User Groups can be found here.

Good luck and hope to see you!

Hi Kathy,

At Harvard's Alumni Affairs & Development we have two reports that seem to resonate. For the technology groups, we have a simple report that summarizes time in 3 categories (General Operating, Mandatory and Strategic). These work categories are tagged on our Project Custom forms. Senior Leadership has responded well to this as it is simple and gives them a sense of how much time is available for new initiatives/ "strategic" work (by group, etc.). Summaries of projects are usually too detailed for them.

We're also launching a lot of request queues this year due to remote work, so overall numbers of how many requests we've received for each type of work is helpful. We're building this out to look at avg. time per request, etc., but when we show the sheer volume of requests Senior Mgmt better understands all of the resources spent on general operating/business-as-usual work. Happy to chat/show you some examples if that would be helpful!
