Kudos to Dev team for NWE List performance improvements

A long time colleague of mine at Workfront discretely invited me to test out the Dev team's NWE list performance improvements which rolled out to all clients this week, so I gathered the following test results, using lists with 2000 rows at a time (“most useful / worst case”) to then observe the time to initially load and then Move Next:

  • Task>subtasks ~4 seconds (with ~500 Subtasks)
  • Project>tasks ~4 seconds (with ~500 Tasks)
  • Program>projects ~5 seconds (with ~8K Projects)
  • Portfolio>projects ~6 seconds (with ~25K Projects)
  • Projects < ~7 seconds (with ~40K Projects)

In my opinion, these are Highly Acceptable times, so I decided to drop this congratulatory note to thank the Dev team, and invite you to record (and if you wish, share) likewise when you have a few seconds.

Literally.

Regards,
