I have a User who would like to share a calendar to their team that has several groupings. They would like to have the calendar open by default withonly one grouping selected and visible. The other groupings are for "further reference" if the users are curious but the idea is that they would be "unselectected". If the calendar creator unselects 4 groupings and leaves 1 grouping selected and shares that calendar out, is that how it will open for the other users (until they starting clicking!). I believe we have seen mixed resuylts on this.

Hi @Tvasilovic
It will most likely not follow what the creator selected as its driven by each user's cache. We ran into a similar situation and trained all users to deselect the ones they don't need to see from the get go.

Thank you @RowvillBh1 ,
That is what I was thinking. The first instance of sharing the calendar may be how the PM wants it to look but once the team members start looking at the other options the helpful cache may take over and there is no existing "default" like a report as calendars operate differently.
thank you!
Yes. One way to get around this is to create two calendars - one that has only one grouping that is most commonly used and another that has all groupings. That way they can use the former without having to change their selections.
