Kevin, What we've done for your second item here is create at "No Tasks" Template for our users to use for those odd requests that don't follow a specific template. We've added the custom forms that all our projects require so they don't need to remember to add those, but they can still create they own tasks. I've already upvoted the other idea you mentioned. But driving our PMs to the No Tasks Template helps with getting the necessary custom forms on all projects - most of the time. They do forget to use it occasionally.

There was a discussion post for a Dark Mode in Workfront. I didn't see anything in Idea Exchange for it and I personally would love to have dark mode in Workfront. https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z0000004VwsAAE/detail Mohini Sinha, CSM Project Coordinator Excelsior College

I can't find a way to see all the templates that were attached to a project right now. The project details only shows the first template attached. This makes reporting on template use difficult and I don't which templates I can mark as inactive. Please vote for this idea! https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z000000PSC7AAO/detail Kirsten Heikkinen Trek Bicycle Corporation

Hi Kristen, As a workaround, I'd offer the following (from memory) technique to report which Template(s) have been added to which Project(s): create a new Task report include the Task's Template Task's Template Name in the view switch the grouping to matrix mode group horizontally by Project Name, and Horizontally by Task's Template Task's Template Name show the Record Count (optionally; if useful and not too much data for WF) add a bar chart, stacked by Task's Template Task's Template Name (optional) add Filters or Prompts By leveraging each Task's knowledge from which Template Task (templateTaskID) it originated, and in turn, retrieving that Template Task's Template Name, the resulting report will effectively give you a cross reference grid, with "the numbers" confirming the desired Project to Template association...and, more specifically, "how many Tasks" per Project/Template exist. Hey Doug - this is great and works for most of our templates. However, we do have some templates that just contain queue topics. It'd just be nice if we could see all the templates that have been applied to a project without having to do some hacky reporting. Thanks for this suggestion! Hi Everyone, Please upvote this idea to be able to set task Late threshold by day/24 hours instead of specific clock time. We don't work at such a granular level and based on different durations (full days vs. half or partial days) we can't control end date time easily. This idea refers to reports but it ultimately would apply to the task itself I think. If anyone has experience with this scenario and has advice that would be great too! Thanks in advance! https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z0000004Vv1AAE/detail Tina Huang Optum

Hi Imi, Thanks for the reminder about this! I have asked our account manager and it sounds like this functionality will not be available until after initial New Experience launch. But it's good to know that it's coming! Tina Tina Huang Optum

Hello All, Just wanted to post some ideas around proofing (proofing, lock stages, reporting) that we thought would be useful. Would apprecitate an up-vote. Project Filter Status on Proof Approval Report We would like to see a project status filter added to the Proof Approval reporting filters. We achieve a similar result by using the EXISTS statement but would like to see an actual filter added to the report for easier filtering for more users. External Users on Proof Approval Report As of right now, only those with Workfront licenses can be seen in the "Approver" column on the Proof Approval Report. We send proofs to external partners and would like to be able to track the status of the proof on a report. Therefore, we need the ability to see external users on the Proof Approval Reports. Locking Stages on Proofs Currently, a stage will lock when a decision has been made. We would like to see the stage lock when only a decision of "Approved" has been made. This will allow our designers/copywriters and reviewers to still make comments/resolve comments when a decision of "Changes Required" has been made since the stage won't lock. When the stage locks on any decision it takes away some of the collaboration that could be happening in Workfront within the proof. Thanks! Jessie Dantin Mercy Health

Hi, May I ask for your votes for this one, we badly need some more filter options on the Kanban board, currently it's only by Team members, but we could potentially have by: Project (this is the most important right now for us) Assignment Priority Role Project condition https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z0000004W06AAE/detail Imre Imre Magyar VODAFONE Group

Hello, Please vote for my suggestion to add approvals to the personal time off calendar . "https://vimeo.com/352816307/c9988ec54c" This update is a step in the right direction, but we really need approvals built into this before we can use it. Linnie Ciepielowski Esri

Default values for report prompts would make life easier for many people who run reports. If you think it's a good idea, please consider up-voting: https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z0000004W4IAAU/detail Sean

Just had a user come to me with a pretty simple problem that I had trouble trying to come up with a simple answer. She has some overdue tasks and wanted them to populate on her timesheet. She knows if she logs time to them it will then be there for future days that week, and I showed her how to pin them so it's there until she unpins. I also showed her how to search and add tasks but that isn't the cleanest/easiest user experience. The idea I had seemed simple and was surprised it wasn't in the Idea Exchange. I want an "Add to Timesheet" button on Projects, Tasks, and Issues so while you are in the object you can just send it to your timesheet from there. Bonus if you can bulk add from a report list. https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z0000004W51AAE/detail Another good timesheet idea I saw that was close was improving the search area to prepopulate with your assigned opened tasks https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z000000PShAAAW/detail Monique Evans Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.

We'd love more "repeat" options for setting up repeating report deliveries. We have reports that we set up to send daily for a short period of time each quarter. We'd like to be able to select "Weekday" instead of daily, our users don't generally need these reports over the weekend. Also, to expand on that, it would be amazing to be able to set up a repeating deliver for example, every weekday, for 2 weeks, beginning the 3rd week of each quarter -- this one may be a bit of a stretch request, but a dreamer can dream! https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z0000004W69AAE/detail

Unless I'm missing something, it seems pretty crazy that I can't sort a Chart or Matrix report by the total . Please up-vote this! https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z0000004W7gAAE/detail Sean

Please upvote https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z0000004W8PAAU/detail If we're typing a new update, then want to jump down to the notify box we used to be able to hit tab and jump straight into that box and begin typing a name. But now if we're typing an update and hit tab, it goes to the text formatting buttons, and we have to tab through all of those before it moves on to the Notify box. I questioned whether this is working as designed with support and received the following response: " I've heard back from the product team that works in this area of the product. They informed me that the behavior with the tab key is a side-effect of some recent enhancements made to the updates feed. At this time, the team is considering this to be working as designed, but they did mention that they are still in the process of updating and auditing this area of the product. So although this is the current functionality, we may see the tab ordering change in the near future." Just seems counter-intuitive and inefficient. Our project managers use the Notify box a lot and find it frustrating.

Hi Everyone, I would like to ask to upvote this as I found an anomaly. In nutshell WF allows logging hours against parent taks while it's not possible on Planned. This creates a serious inconsistency because if a user is assigned to both, the hours logged to parent Tasks don't count in Resource Planner while the Planned will by design. To ensure all logged are captured in the planner and to keep consistency between planned and logged hours my suggestion here is to either disable logging hours to parent tasks and make them calculated similarly to the Planned hours or countthem in the Planner: https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z0000004W7vAAE/detail ImreMagyar VODAFONE Group

--- Give more clarity on what causes 'At Risk' on a project ---- https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z0000004W1sAAE/detail or search 'Hover over at Risk' A lot of my users become frustrated when their project shows 'At Risk' on Work Front. Without a deep knowledge of task constraints and date setting, it can be hard for users to work out what has made their project show as 'At Risk', particularly when working on a big project with hundreds of dates that need scrutinizing over to work out what has fallen behind or is pushing a predecessor task to be late. My proposal is that Work Front introduces a feature whereby the 'At Risk' status can be either hovered over or clicked on to show the task number or numbers that are affecting the project - instead of manually trying to search for them themselves. This would make it a lot easier for users to be able to get projects back on track and make my user adoption easier as users can get frustrated and disheartened when their projects are constantly at risk.
