How-To-Search-Like-Doug-Does (UPDATED, AGAIN)

Hi Folks,

I invite you to save and use the following super helpful URL:

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/search.html#q=doug_den_hoed__atappstore&sort=relevancy%2520descending&f:el_product=%5BWorkfront%5D

I personally keep as a shortcut on my desktop, and whenever I want to search with Adobe Experience League for something that is related to Workfront I then simply:

  • double click that shortcut
  • edit the URL to replace the doug_den_hoed__atappstore default with whatever phrase is of interest (e.g. cautionary tale), then
  • click enter to return the results, which (9 times out of 10) returns what I'm after within the first few results

Regards,

Doug

NOTE: originally, this was the link, but it now fails, so I replaced it on May 14, 2025 with the version above

UPDATE: see above for the new and improved link (since the old one now fails).

Doug

UPDATED AGAIN:

A colleague just drew this alternative to my attention, which he asserted:

Doug, I saw a recent post of yours in the Community Advisor workspace about fast searches in EL, and have to share that I've really come to appreciate Unified Shell for this. This help link persists across all views and shows search results inline. What I appreciate most is the relevancy of the search results compared to the typical search in EL. What I'm looking for is almost always the first result.

I invite you to give it a try (as did I, below).

Regards,

Doug
