Gantt charts by Team

Hello, I just recently setup some teams: Web, PR & Social, and Marketing Strategy. However I don't have any tasks assigned to those teams. I do have tasks assigned to the individuals on those teams however. I want to setup a report/gantt chart that can show what the "teams" are working on. I am thinking I need a task report. However when I set the filters per the team it is not pulling in anything because I don't have anything assigned to said teams. Is there a way a report can connect the dots and recognize person A, B, and C are part of the web team and show me a report of what they are working on? Thank you, Mike Mike Marando Excelsior College

The easiest way is to go to that Team page (People > Teams) and click on the Working On tab. It'll show you a Gantt/bar chart of all the people on that team (even if the team isn't assigned) Vic Alejandro, PMP, CSM | IT | Sr. IT Project Manager Denver Water | t: (303-628-7262) | c: (303-319-6473) "http://www.denverwater.org/"> http://www.denverwater.org INTEGRITY | VISION | PASSION | EXCELLENCE | RESPECT

Hi Mike, Could you provide a few more details on the current report that isn't working? If you want to build a report per team, you could just put a filter that Assigned To -> Home Team ID equals whatever team it is you want the report for. Also under 'Report settings' in the top right hand side you have options to display as a Gantt Note that this is only counting each person as belonging to their Home team. If they are in multiple teams and you want the same person on multiple reports, that gets a little tricker. Barry Buchanan Work Management Australia
